This camp site is on just over an acre tucked in the mountains near the end of a dead end road. The location is quiet with no other homes in sight, yet less than 10 minutes to the lovely town of Hot Springs with bars, restaurants, shops and more. A small creek runs along one side of the property and the other side runs up a mountain.Pull your van, truck camper, pop up or small travel trailer onto the parking pad and relax. There is a picnic table and fire ring for your use. There is a very short path on the property up to a great place to set up a hammock with a view. The camp is just down the road from Paint Rock Farm event center. There are numerous trailheads nearby on the surrounding national forest for day time excursions or you can be on the French Broad River or Spring Creek within 15 minutes to try your luck fishing. The small town of Hot Springs is just 10 minutes away. This is a newly created site suitable for short term stays. To access the site, you will need to drive up a narrow section of road with some turns in it that would be challenging for large RVs or Travel Trailers so at this time, we are limiting stays to smaller vehicles and trailers. Cell service is spotty in Hot Springs (ATT does pretty well) due to its location surrounded by mountains. There is free wifi in town.

Beautiful camp site! Very secluded but not far at all to Hot Springs. No cell service, which makes it perfect! Highly recommend, will be making future trips here.

Beautiful quiet place. If your looking to disappear a couple days, no cell service, this is it! But still only few minutes drive to Hot Springs. I highly recommend.

Lovely camp! Quiet and secluded. Hostess is responsive and helpful! Just pay attention to the Hostesses pictures on how to get there. I missed a turn because an important road sign is grown over with greenery. No cell signal there however satellite works great.

Creekside Hideaway at Clover Branch Camp made for a perfect weekend of camping. The site was secluded and very private. Our dog and two small children had plenty of room to play. The site was perfect for our pop-up camper. We had plenty of room to park our two vehicles as well. If you’re a self-contained camper looking for an extremely private spot, Clover Branch Camp is the place for you!

Loved the area. VERY hidden. The site was absolutely gorgeous, clean and well maintained. Only suggestion I would make is to have a trash can available so campers can dispose of their garbage easily. Other than that the area is fantastic. I will definitely be booking again 💕🫶🏼

I loved camping on the land it is the perfect getaway spot from the city. No signal at all which to be honest I liked. Fully disconnected from outside but drive30-40 minutes and u got signal. We will definitely be back.

Stillness and Peace

So perfectly quiet. The solitude was stillness embodied in a place. It was heavenly. So many wildlife sightings, and hearings--especially the frogs at night and the birds in the morning. Perfect weather (springtime), such peace. It was an experience I'll never forget. One tip: Don't leave your food out. This is definitely bear country.

It was very private and quiet. It looks like the pics, a ways down a dirt road with lots of kudzu. We stayed here, went for a hike and swim in the laurel river, then got a hot tub in hot springs. A sweet easy little weekend getaway.

For being in the middle of nowhere, the directions were perfect. There's a good chance that you will lose cell phone coverage once you get into the valleys, so be prepared for that. At the site itself, I was able to get limited coverage. Kelly's site, has a nice, dry, gravel pad to park and/or set up on. I set up a tent in the grass and it was nice to have a fire for the evening. There's a small creek, (just over a foot wide), that provides just the right amount of sound to peacefully lull you to sleep. If all HipCamps were like Kelly's, the world would be a perfect place! Lol When I get to this area again, I will definitely reach out to Kelly's again.

Peaceful spot. No one around. Nice to have the gravel with the rain. Fire pit and picnic table are convenient. Saw a momma bear and 2 cubs. Very cool. Difficult to bring in a travel trailer due to narrow road and low hanging branches and hard to turn around. Recommend either tent or a rooftop tent type rig. I have a jayco 171bh and we made it work. Just tight.

Off the beaten path and secluded. If that’s what you’re after this is it. Cons: Not much of a creek. Bugs and horseflies were relentless (not hosts fault).

Great spot!

This spot just outside Hot Springs is a gem! We loved our time at Kelly's campsite. Spring is a great time to visit with everything blooming and green. We spent the afternoon hiking nearby and the evening under the stars enjoying a fire with the nice fire pit provided. Clear directions to your own private beautiful nook in the mountains.
