This place is truly incredible. Great host, gorgeous spot on the river, and plenty of space to spread out and have a relaxing camping trip. The river is very diverse here too, we snorkeled and the amount of species of fish and mussels is literally almost unmatched in the northern hemisphere. It's a fish nerds paradise. We can't wait to go back.

We will definitely be back! This was probably one of the best overall sites I’ve been to. Wide open space, plenty of shade from trees, indescribable swimming hole, awesome view of the train trestle, only ten minutes from the grocery store. Road noise really wasn’t that bad. Me and two friends spent the entire weekend here and didn’t leave till checkout.

Lovely place. Grass was well mowed, and the site was clean. Very close to Natural Tunnel. Spots were spread out enough.

The land was beautiful, and the view of the train bridges was awesome over the river. The campsite area was well set up and had a well built fire pit, trash can, picnic tables, etc.
That said, it is right off a pretty major highway and there’s lots of trucks, loud cars, etc going by a couple hundred yards from the campsite. I was woken up by Jake breaks a couple times during the one night we stayed there, which was pretty unpleasant. YMMV, but I am looking for a good nights rest while camping and the road is unfortunately a non negotiable at this campsite.

I had a little problem finding his land, so glad I seen the tubing signs on the entrance to his land. I stayed 3 nights and it was awesome. I was the only camper there. He was very nice to let me join a group that has signed up to go tubing and that was very exciting and fun!! He was a good host and would recommend anyone to camp there and take advantage of tubing down the river!!!😎

It was fine. There was only one complete campsite when we arrived and that picnic table had a bees nest - my husband was stung several times, which was fine. I mean, we are camping right? The frustration came when I contacted the host and he suggested we just grab another picnic table that was easily 200 yards away. No apologies just go over there and grab it. Also, there was goose poop everywhere

The site was shaded, with a fire ring, picnic tables, trash cans, and a tent platform. The private access to swim in the river was great! The site had a porta-potty and we brought our own water for cooking. We were the only ones there. The site is between the train tracks and highway, so there was noise at night. Check-in and swimming were very easy!

Robert was a great host allowing us to checkout later than posted so we could finish our event. The campground was clean, right on the river and super shady which was what we needed for our dog while we were away. And yes as others mentioned it is next to (below) a state highway and was a bit noisy the first half of the evening but was much quieter thru the night. We hope to return next year and perhaps take advantage of Robert’s tubing adventure on the beautiful Clinch River!

This spot is very conveniently located right on the cinch river which gives the camping spots a beautiful view of the river and the Copper Bridge. However, please know that if you choose to stay here there is road noise and the train comes through periodically.

Nice stretch of Clinch River. Camping area was freshly mowed. Clean privy. There is road noise and the train does periodically go through. Grills for cooking but no clear fire pits. We were early in the season and the picnic tables were covered in mud.

Well kept campsite right on the river. Extremely close to the Natural Tunnel State Park. The hose came and greeted us when we arrived. Really enjoyed our time here!

Very cool little spot. We had place to ourselves. Great hiking near by. Did Devils Bathtub. It was awesome. The only thing I would like to warn about is the road noise and trains that run all night.

Plenty of room. Large beautiful river and a couple train track bridges are just down a short path to the river which every site has, along with a fire pit and trash can. The only porta potty was a bit of a walk from the site. Will be going back!

The land was flat, good for tents, right on the river so we could walk down and dip our toes. Had a nice pit for a fire and some wood to burn. Had a place for trash and a porta-potty. Grass was cut so the bugs weren’t bad. Tons of space so if we had had more people we could of had a pick up game of soccer in the mowed area around our tent. Host was very nice and popped in to see if we needed anything. Would have loved to tube but the water level was too high. We had asked about a fifth person and the host was very accommodating. Place had fine Cell reception.

Great spot to camp out for the weekend. There are four campsites but we were the only ones there for the 2 nights we camped. Beautiful spot by the river and the site is very well kept. We loved having the picnic tables and fire ring, plus the convenience of a porta potty which was very clean.

I loved this spot. I'm new to camping and found this spot perfect for me. There are four campsites but we were the only ones there during our 2 night stay. We had a beautiful spot by the river and it was so nice falling sleep and waking to the sound of the water flow. The space is well-kept and we felt very safe. There is some road noise but it wasn't obnoxious and didn't bother us at all..
