Lifejackets are not required, please swim and float at your own risk.
Fishing is permitted; however, proper licensure is required. For the safety of all guests, fishing is not allowed in the beachfront area where guests swim and walk. Please walk upstream or downstream before casting.

This place is truly incredible. Great host, gorgeous spot on the river, and plenty of space to spread out and have a relaxing camping trip. The river is very diverse here too, we snorkeled and the amount of species of fish and mussels is literally almost unmatched in the northern hemisphere. It's a fish nerds paradise. We can't wait to go back.

I highly recommend this place!!! Beautiful scenery, stunning landscape, amazing place to stay, camp, enjoy quietness and cherish memories with your love ones. The farm is absolutely amazing my teenage boys love it so much they don’t want to leave. John is a very nice & tentative host. Answers right away & greets you with kindness. He also makes sure you have eveything you need and is a phone call/text away( very responsive). Couldn’t ask for a better stay!! We’ll definitely be back.

We stay 4 nights here. We did not have horses, just us and our trailer. The place has amazing views. Three of the friendliest, and laid back dogs walking around. The price is amazing for including water and electricity. You can buy a bundle of wood for $5 bucks. It’s a good hardwood so burns slow which is awesome. The toilet and shower building is clean. They have a dump and even a portable cassette so you can dump without moving your trailer if you’re there for an extended stay. And the friendliest hosts. Probably the best place we have ever stayed.

We will definitely be back! This was probably one of the best overall sites I’ve been to. Wide open space, plenty of shade from trees, indescribable swimming hole, awesome view of the train trestle, only ten minutes from the grocery store. Road noise really wasn’t that bad. Me and two friends spent the entire weekend here and didn’t leave till checkout.

My boyfriend, dog and I absolutely LOVED this spot! It's beautiful, large, well maintained, and completely secluded - we didn't see another person the entire time we were there. The fire pit area is fantastic and even has some pots, pans and utensils available if needed. It's perfect for couples wanting to get away for a little bit or for large groups. We will absolutely be back.

After many visits, this was my first time solo tent camping at Out on the Creek. I appreciate the care taken to ensure each guest has a great experience. The grounds are ALWAYS very well maintained. The large (and always clean) picnic table, fire pit, & cooking grates, charcoal grill, & 110 electric appreciated. This year they added a beautiful wooden swing with shade canopy which I spent most of my time on! The creek was too cold yet to play, so I enjoyed watching & listening to it. It's always a pleasure to visit. Still my favorite campsite!

We chose Kim’s spot for our son’s first tent camping trip. We loved that it was close to home, but felt secluded in the woods. The set-up is ideal. First, everything is set up perfectly between the platform for our tent, handy meal prep station next to the fire, and extra touches like fire starters, water, and a nice bathroom situation. We loved sitting by the fire, listening to the birds, and exploring the nearby trail. Watching the sun come up through the tree line made for a great morning, too. Kim was easy to get in touch with- and we are excited to come visit again.
