A charming little cabin on a beautiful property! I stayed here with my three dogs, and they loved having the space to roam freely. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, and the modern bathroom was a nice touch. Both the main room and the bathroom have their own window unit. This is a tranquil, very private alternative to crowded, noisy park campgrounds. We stayed just one night in a tent on a cross country trip. The chickens and goats made us feel right at home and would be fun if you are traveling with young children.

This place is just magical. So much history and if you want to know the story, just ask Keith! Who, btw, is an incredible human who will make you feel comfortable and completely at home, but also away from it.
Amenities, there is not a kitchen, but there is a mini fridge and a microwave. There aren’t any cooking implements, or dishes, but there is a propane grill, hibachi (charcoal), and HUGE firepit, and if you need some cookware, Keith can hook you up (not to blow up his spot). The bed is super comfortable, don’t try lighting a fire unless the flu in the fireplace is wide open(ask us how we know), the shower gets hot, two ac units keep it super comfortable, and there’s a spider we named “ole’ 4 legs” (she has 8 legs, we just called her that for short) that builds a web on the porch each evening that is magical to watch.
Other than it being perfect, it’s even more perfect when it rains. The front porch is the perfect vantage point for the mist relaxing time you’ve EVER had listening to the rain.

Awesome stay.. the beautiful, private surroundings, along with the quaint sights and sounds of a few chickens and goats make this hipcamp a great find.
**Additionally, and a big perk and unique to any hipcamp I have stayed. Robert was a Chef in his previous life but continues to share his love for food as he offers dinner service which will exceed your expectations / compares to the very best restaurants we have dined.
Robert is an excellent host.
Recommend highly / will stay again!

Great place to stay to get out of the heat! Larger than expected! Nice shower! Lovely covered deck and fire pit area. There were outside games and a grill too! Host was super welcoming! And gave lots of ideas for the surrounding areas.

This site is in the host's backyard, but unlike some other backyard spots, it feels really special. The concrete pad was nice, the neighborhood was gorgeous, you felt like you were in nature, and the goats were great neighbors. But the best part was the delicious homemade meal. Go visit Robert! You won't regret it.

Gorgeous cabin and I slept like a log. The bathroom was more than I expected for an 18th c. cabin. I arrived later than intended so didn't get a chance to start a fire, but the fire pit looked very inviting. Keith was very kind and accommodating to a change in schedule and suggested places for breakfast in the AM. Would absolutely recommend if you would like a relaxing place to stay for the evening.

Robert has a lovely property with a small animal petting area that can be enjoyed by both children and adults, there is also a swing set, climbing wall and trampoline. My grand kids had a blast.
The option to have Robert cook dinner is also available and we chose to take advantage of the opportunity. The meal was wonderful. Robert is a legit chef with lots of experience.
Definitely a 5 star experience. Robert is a wonderful host. Will definitely be back for sure!!!

We arrived to this Hipcamp with our 24’ camper for a 2 night stay. The site pad was a back in easy access location. The pad is next to the host home, but beautifully landscaped and manicured large backyard. A few extras made our time there even more special: a goat and chicken yard that we could access and enjoy the animals, large yard for our dogs to run off lead if we chose to And an gourmet meal prepared by our host who is a chef!! The meal was amazing and such a treat which was worth the extra charge. I highly recommend this Hipcamp!!
