Reliable Internet was a priority when we developed Harmony Ridge.
Rather than relying on a single Wi-Fi signal broadcast across the property, **each RV site has its own dedicated Wi-Fi router located directly at the site's utility pedestal.**
You'll also notice several attractive 8x8 cedar-sided buildings with emerald-green metal roofs around the property. These buildings house equipment supporting the state-of-the-art Internet backbone we've installed throughout Harmony Ridge.
## 🌳 What Harmony Ridge Looks Like Today
We want guests to know exactly what to expect before they arrive.
Harmony Ridge is a **small, developing RV park—not a finished resort campground.** Our six current RV sites occupy a relatively open area near the road, while much of the remainder of our 35-acre property is wooded and natural.
We're continuing to improve the property as revenue and resources allow.
You may also see some construction equipment parked on the property. In addition to operating Harmony Ridge, we install **underground RV infrastructure and utilities for other property owners in the area**, and some of the equipment used for that work is currently stored at Harmony Ridge. We plan to relocate this equipment to another nearby property as we continue improving the park.
If you're looking for a secluded campsite tucked deep into the woods, our current RV sites probably aren't the right fit.
But if you're traveling in an RV—especially a larger rig—and value **easy access, plenty of maneuvering room, strong electrical service, city water, excellent connectivity, and a relaxed rural location**, Harmony Ridge may be exactly what you're looking for.
## 🛶 Buffalo River Nearby
The beautiful Buffalo River is approximately one mile from Harmony Ridge, and portions of the riverbanks can be seen from nearby areas.
**Harmony Ridge is not riverfront property and there is no direct river access from the park.**
The primary public Buffalo River boat launch in Linden is approximately **4.7 miles away**, providing convenient access for kayaking, canoeing, tubing, fishing, and enjoying the river.

There is plenty of privacy, even though you are right near a public road that has very little traffic. There are no other campsites nearby and the owner lives 1/2 mile away. Situated just outside of Columbia, TN (one of the state's most up-and-coming cities) and right on the same road as our 11th President, James K. Polk, once lived - Peekaboo Meadows & The Big Red Barn are waiting to welcome you! Pull in, drive down the grass road and over the small creek, put it in park at the barn and go stretch your legs on the 4o+ acres surrounding. During the day, feel welcome to walk the serene meadows or take a cleared trail up the ridge to the treehouse! Don't be surprised to be greeted by all kinds of wildlife including deer, turkey, foxes, or our goofy, fun-loving Golden Doodle named "Shme." If walking isn't your thing, you are welcome to drive around (4wd recommended) to go scout out where you'd like to set up camp for the night. If you prefer more peace and privacy, there are two beautiful meadows to choose from which both reach deeper into the property. If you'd prefer the comfort of additional shelter, you are welcome to park and/or set yourself up at the barn instead (which is a little closer to the main road). There is power to the barn - providing light, 30AMP power for RV hookup, as well as an electrical receptacle that you can run your extension chords from. For the extra adventurous - you may want to take a hike up "Thornbush Trail," which follows the ridge right up the middle of the property and has beautiful views of both meadows to either side. Or, for a more direct route, take a walk right up our dirt access road to the upper ridge, where you can peek through the treeline for beautiful elevated views eastward toward Columbia. Our treehouse (in progress) is located right at the top of the access road. Though the treehouse has not yet been completed, feel free to climb the 20' ladder up the inside of the hollowed out trunk and pop your head out the top! It sure makes a great photo! Come back to the barn area in the evening to lounge in the hammock, hang out around the picnic table, or cook dinner and roast some marshmallows over the wood burning fire pit with cooking grill attachment (fireside tools & 1 bundle of firewood provided). One filtered and cooled 5 gallon portable Igloo water cooler will also be provided and placed on the picnic table outside the barn. One rolling 96 gallon covered trash bin will be placed inside the barn (please bag your trash). "Luggable Loo" portable compost toilet is also available for use inside the barn. Tho cell & wifi are spotty here on the farm, we will provide one walkie talkie during your stay for direct communication with the main residence, should there be any issues or needs that arise. On the flip side, privacy is respected and use of the electronics is completely at your discretion!

It all began when Jennifer’s brilliant brother booked a two-story home through Airbnb for Jennifer and the family for a week in the Carolinas. Their Airbnb vacation was a great experience, and she loved having a kitchen to cook in, while traveling with her large family. She gladly said goodbye to tiny hotel rooms. Linda and her daughter, Jennifer realized they desired to run a BnB, and watched the scattered pieces beautifully fall into place.

In Wayne County about 5 miles from our location is the opportunity to spend the day canoeing or kayaking down the Buffalo River. Travel 40 miles northeast and enter an Amish Community for Amish shopping and Tours. Or go straight to the East about 30 miles and visit Lawrenceburg, TN and Davy Crocket State Park. Head 40 miles west discover all the history at the battle fields of Shiloh, just outside of Savanah, TN. And if Music is your interest 45 min south of is "Shoals". Muscle Shoals and Florence Alabama have rich southern history, beautiful historical homes, music roots. No matter the interest, there are ton of things to do occupy your time.

This beautiful place has been in my family for 3 generations. Since I was a child I loved having campfires and hiking. I used to imagine cabins speckling its landscape and story’s being told by travelers from far off places! Now that I am owner I can and will build those dreams and share them with as many folks as come to visit us! There’s 60 acres of hills for hiking a peaceful creek for meditation or just stick your feet in! A beautiful bamboo grove where we plan to build a camping platform in the very near future and you’ll be able to sleep in tha bamboo forest! We’ve come a long way in the last year, we have platforms, tents we can set up as glampers for those that love the idea but don’t want to have to set it all up. There’s several old buildings and unfinished projects left behind from my father we have a series of small cabins we will be building with them over the next 2 years it’ll be called “Boho Bottom”. We also host events, so far they are few and small but so much fun!! There is currently one communal bathroom with several more due to be built in the next year or so. As campers come the profit will help with future site development. Look forward to more updates as things develop!! We look forward to camp with you!

We have beautiful rolling hills, trees and two ponds. We raise sheep and chickens and a huge organic garden for our customers to use. We have twenty acres of land all fenced in. Located one mile from the buffalo rive. We provide use of our kayaks and a ride if needed. We are a few miles from the Natchez Trace. And laurel hill lake.

These sites give the best of two worlds: full hookups and super fast wifi in a peaceful, forest setting. It was quiet and private, like we had our own little section of the woods. Troy was so nice and friendly, taking the time to make sure we had everything we needed and talk to us about the area. He's a wealth of knowledge. Unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there, so we only ventured out a little. Whenever we go back, we'll be sure to hike and take in more of the natural beauty around the RV park. We highly recommend and would absolutely stay again.

This was a wonderful site for us. The host greeted us upon arrival to help us back in and hook up. We enjoyed the view and peace of being right on the river. For the only day of our trip when it rained, we were so happy to have the structure as we were able to cook on a grill and sit outside, again enjoying the river view while it was raining around us. We particularly liked that it was an easy location and pretty setting for walking our dogs. A bonus was that the host provided us with information on things to check out in the area. We did go to the civil war museum/battlefield which was excellent.

Clean and quiet campground. Nice amenities. We would love to come back in the warmer months to use the swimming hole. Kids loved the playground. I never could get the Wi-Fi to have a good signal, but that is the only issue we had during our stay. Anytime I reached out to staff they answered the phone and were accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Our stay at Silverwater Campground in Counce Tennessee was an awesome stay. A stone's throw away from Shiloh National Military Park. Covered RV sites with full hookups at a terrific price. Host very accommodating. Have family in the area. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Love this spot! I almost cried this morning while we were packing up. It was clean, spacious and very quiet.
