Welcome to Muletown Farm, our peaceful 31-acre farm in Columbia, Tennessee. Rich in history and surrounded by rolling countryside, the farm is home to one of the oldest log homes in the area, dating back to 1808. Today, we enjoy sharing this special place with travelers looking to relax, reconnect with nature, and experience a slower pace of life. The farm offers plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the scenery. Guests are welcome to gather around the fire pit, enjoy a meal at the picnic tables, cast a line in the fishing pond, or simply take in the views of the pastures and historic buildings scattered throughout the property. You're also welcome to meet some of our farm residents, including Dixie the horse and our flock of chickens. Mornings often begin with fog drifting across the fields, while evenings bring colorful sunsets and peaceful nights under the Tennessee sky. Although the farm feels quiet and secluded, you're only minutes from downtown Columbia, one of Tennessee's most charming small towns. Explore local restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, live music venues, and the historic town square. The scenic Natchez Trace Parkway, beautiful waterfalls, hiking trails, and countless opportunities for outdoor adventure are all within easy driving distance. Muletown Farm is home to a small collection of guest accommodations, including historic cabins and RV sites. While you may occasionally see other guests enjoying the property, the farm's 31 acres provides plenty of privacy and space to relax. Whether you're stopping in for a night or settling in for a longer getaway, we hope you'll take time to slow down, enjoy the fresh air, and experience a little piece of Middle Tennessee farm life. The RV sites sit on overlooking a 6-acre field with views of rolling pastures, and several restored 1800s log cabins located throughout the property. The site includes a level gravel pad with water hookup, sewer dump station at the site and both 30-amp and 50-amp electric service. While you'll have plenty of your own space, this is an active farm property with four cabin rentals spread across the 31 acres plus one other RV pad. Everything is well separated and guests find the site to be quiet and private while still enjoying the farm atmosphere. Guests are welcome to walk around the property, fish in the pond, visit our chickens, and meet our horse, Dixie. In the evenings, relax around the fire pit under the string lights, watch the sunset over the pastures, and enjoy a slower pace of life. We're close enough to town for groceries, restaurants, and local attractions, but far enough away to enjoy peaceful mornings, starry nights, and a little extra room to breathe. We stayed one evening and got in late. But it was clear from the explanation on how to get in and where to set up. There was a beautiful firepit/seating area already set up with lights that really helped us to settle in. The morning views were beautiful and the kids enjoyed seeing the horse and chickens.

We took our camper out for the first time here and had a wonderful weekend! The farm is close to hiking, but also close enough to town to make an emergency trip to Tractor Supply for forgotten equipment. The site is equipped with all the basic necessities and a thoughtfully setup fire pit area. Holly was very responsive and helpful. We’d recommend and would stay again!

I loved that Muletown Farm is off the beaten path. It is quiet, peaceful, and we enjoyed the animals and the firepit also. They offer full hook up, just a note, the sewer is not on site, you will need to unhook and drive to the sewer to dump your tanks. We did have a small issue with that as we need a 14' clearance and there were tree branches that were in the way. Within 2 days they had someone come and cut them back. Communication was great, we would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed this site. Google told us the wrong drive so make sure you choose the drive with the clearly marked sign. The farm was so pretty and quiet and we loved looking at the chickens and the horse.

We loved camping on Holly’s property. We had beautiful views, it was quiet, and there was tons of room for our kids and dog to run around. On top of that, you’re only a few minutes from town, so it’s the best of both worlds. Holly was great and communicated really well when there was a scheduling conflict. We would happily stay again!
