The ranch sits at the center of natural geologic history, as well as rich pioneer and Native American heritage. Homesteaded in 1887 by ancestors of the current caretakers, you’ll find a wealth of knowledge about the land and its history.
Enjoy endless big skies as you soak in the sunrises, bright daytime views, and gorgeous sunsets that darken into spectacular views of the Milky Way galaxy. We are close to Mount Rushmore, Fort Robinson, Agate Fossil Beds, the paleo-Indian dig site known as the Hudson-Meng Bone Bed, and the Chadron Fur Trade Museum. Toadstool Geologic Park is our next-door neighbor.

Our RV park overlooks the permanent camp # 3 of Lt/Col Custer during his 1872 encampment, and pictures of the encampment are posted in the 1880’s Custer Museum.
