Our land is located at the convergence of Pine Cover Bluffs dipping into the badlands and ending on a rolling prairie. This diverse landscape inspires artists and nature enthusiasts to visit and enjoy the variety of activities the ranch provides. The ranch sits at the center of natural geologic history, as well as rich pioneer and Native American heritage. Homesteaded in 1887 by ancestors of the current caretakers, you’ll find a wealth of knowledge about the land and its history. Enjoy endless big skies as you soak in the sunrises, bright daytime views, and gorgeous sunsets that darken into spectacular views of the Milky Way galaxy. We are close to Mount Rushmore, Fort Robinson, Agate Fossil Beds, the paleo-Indian dig site known as the Hudson-Meng Bone Bed, and the Chadron Fur Trade Museum. Toadstool Geologic Park is our next-door neighbor. While staying with us, ask your host about the activities offered, including history tours, introductions to fossil hunting, art opportunities, and field days focused on equine and natural ranching orientation seminars. Our lodging is perfect for three small families or small groups of up to ten people. Three hookups with water and electric are available. Tent camping is also available.

Left Side Barn Apartment

This is for our four bedroom barn apartment. Each apartment has its own full bathroom. They are furnished with our own created high end western furniture. There is an exterior fully equipped kitchen about twenty feet from the apartments with a deck to enjoy the outdoors while grilling or after cooking inside!
