More mountain biking at Ride Kanuga and Ride Rock Creek downhill mountain bike park 15 minutes away. The 7 mile paved Ecusta Trail from Horseshoe to Hendersonville is open, several miles away. This is a nice place. Sites are wide and clean. My husband stayed here while he hunted in South Mountain. Super convenient. Definitely need a heated water hose in winter. Make sure you have longer utility hoses and electrical wire because hookups are at the rear of the site not on the side. The host rents extras if you need them. We will be back!

My site was very nice and plenty of space. Bathroom and shower was very clean. The view was fantastic while still being close to the highway. Within close enough distance to anything you want to do in and around Asheville.

The steep driveway wasn't that bad and led to camping sites that captured the heart of the North Carolina mountains. Great privacy and views and even some woodland creatures to remind you of the camping experience. Full hookups and access to a very, very clean bathhouse/laundry room. Awesome quick access to many attractions (I favor all the local hiking trails). Definitely on my list to visit again. Thankx!

This dome was perfect! Moonshine is completely secluded, romantic & comfy-cozy. You really just need to bring clothes and the good you want to cook. Everything you could need is there. A lot of thought went into crafting this get away.

The setup was perfect. I was a little worried about making it down to the site with my travel trailer (27 ft) but it was doable. Plenty of space to spread out and had plenty of privacy. We would definitely stay again.
