Southern Belle is a perfect place to take a break and spend the weekend only with the nature! The facilities provided were flawless! Jeremy is a wonderful and helpful host! Highly recommend! A perfect hideaway right into the nature! And yeah! The surplus of communicating with the animals is priceless!

Great views! All we needed! Rain squelched our plans for more hiking, but having the game room on site helped keep the kids entertained. Clean bathrooms close by and the pasture stayed busy with animal friends. Very close to town but Ray and Shannon were also so willing to help if needed.

What an incredible place! Shannon and Ray were so nice and welcoming, the property is gorgeous, the site was perfect and the creatures (especially the sweet kitties) made it even better if that’s possible. Will definitely be back!

Away from the hustle and bustle, but only 30 minutes to Asheville, and close to shopping, restaurants, hiking, rafting, waterfalls, and much, much more! Enjoy getting away as a couple, or with the kids. Just steps away from our game room with pool, ping pong, foos ball, air hockey, darts, and exercise room. Come pet the animals! This 1 room cabin includes 1 King bed, pullout queen sofa, large comfy chair, dining table for 4, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, grill, picnic table, fire pit, cooking essentials, towels, and linens. This cabin is next to a bathhouse. There is a mens and womens restroom. Both restrooms are equipped with 6 showers, 4 stalls, and 8 sinks. You will have complete access to restrooms and showers. You will also have access to the gameroom and exercise room. Across from the cabin is a large pasture and our animals.

Enjoy the working wood burning stove, play a game, or read a book. Have a bonfire or soak in the large hot tub. This is an all electric home with the energy provided by 21 solar panels. Guest access There is a digital lock with an entry code. Other things to note Note from a Guest: Great property for family, couple, or small group This unique farmhouse style home is a great choice for travelers and an excellent venue for gatherings by local residents. It has easy access but the property has abundant trees and is secluded from nearby roads and homes for privacy. The interior, baths, and kitchen are updated but maintain a pleasant farmhouse feel. The host had it perfectly clean and well stocked. It has a bonfire pit and a smaller fire pit for outside gatherings and the hot tub was immaculately clean, heated, and ready for use when we arrived. Kids can enjoy swings and slides. We used it for a small gathering where about a dozen guests gathered during the day and six spent the night. Could not have been happier with property or hosts. Fireworks are legal and permitted within reasonable hours. Horses are welcome.

We teach folks to grow food, raise ducks, chickens and rabbits and have many grow systems. Possible classes depending on our schedule are listed on www.flowingriverplace.com and are a 2 hr class ( many listed) in exchange for 2 hr volunteer with us on current project.. ( could be working in garden, building raised beds, harvesting, canning etc.) We have other long term rentals and are family friendly. We host church groups and 1/2 way houses for wood fired pizza , river time etc on some Sundays. Drug use or heavy drinking isnt tolerated here. Please choose another place if thats the situation. 2 Bathrooms / shower houses are close by. Bring swim suit for river time if wanted. Campfire pits available too. Suitable for up to 2.
