Dogpatch Farms is a farm offering Broad River access( canoe portage under construction but usable) campsites with the goal of making camping affordable again. We aren’t shooting for fancy or flashy just a clean quiet spaces and friendly safe environment where a person or group can enjoy nature without breaking the bank.
We have one space for a RV/Camper with power water and septic dump ( down by the Barndo) and only a few with power and water only ( up by the well house)($60 and $40 per night respectively).
Primitive areas vary from hillside, river side and open field all of which have an indoor toilet access and outside ( soon inside too) shower.
Barndo is an active construction zone as we turn it into a full facility with cooking and laundry benefits so don’t expect fancy but that’s not our goal.
Expect to see a sweet dog, a goat and probably a chicken ( and even enjoying a free egg) and definitely a tractor.
Have a good time but I don’t tolerate stupid and you are expected to not leave a mess like a true outdoorsman should.
There is an of wildlife including beavers, turkeys( roosting in the valley), deer and such to see because of our low impact approach so observe but don’t harass.

The lower part of the property spans approximately 3 acres. It is partially wooded with a relaxing creek running through the woods. There is a porta john onsite (Rental required for large events) and we also have a water spigot available and a 100 gallon trash can for you to dispose of your trash. We are only 1/2 a mile from the Interstate 85. So bring your tents, campers or your small RV and come and setup down by the babbling Neal creek, or rent our private covered camper located on the horse farm. Build a nice fire in the fire pits. The firewood is provided, just bring your fire starter.
The Neal Creek campsites are semi-wooded areas with plenty of shade. They are very large private, peaceful and quiet sites.
The Back Forty Camping is semi-wooded area with plenty of privacy!
View the stars at night, relax during the day or if you are into biking or hiking, go to the Overmountain Victory trail located about 15 minutes away and enjoy the 6.7 mile loop around Lake Whelchel right off I-85.

Once you arrive at my address... It can be a little tricky. I have 2 driveway entrances. The first entrance that you come to, is the one that is used for hip campers. There is a sign that says"Rocky Top". This is a gravel drive. This drive is a little steep. You just want to make sure that once you start up, you keep going and don't stop until you reach the top. If for some reason you pass that entrance, or you don't feel comfortable going up that drive, feel free to use the asphalt drive. Once you reach the top of the Hill, everything starts leveling out. You will see a barn on your right and a shed on your left, just continue on the gravel Road, site 1 will be the first one you come to on your left. Continue on and you will pass the outhouse on your right and then you will see mountain view straight across from the outhouse.

We have one campsite on our 1.5 acre property. Located 2 miles from downtown Tryon, where you'll find restaurants and shops. The property is on the Pacolet River. Guests are welcome to fish and use the fire pit area on the river. There is also a small Airbnb on the property. The river, fire pit area and bathhouse are to be shared with all guests. The campsite is located next to our bathhouse that offers a shower, toilet, sinks, and washer dryer unit.
Property line runs along the large pine trees near the river, we ask that you stay on our property only. The surrounding area is still cleaning up from Hurricane Helene. HWY 176 from Saluda to Tryon is closed. Come to the property from the Tryon side.

I can’t even begin to explain how amazing Carmen’s campsite was! So much privacy, soooo many amenities, and gorgeous views!! I was even able to have the pool and bath house all to myself since no one was at the other site. Carmen was super helpful and always just a call away if I needed anything at all! She even provided a bunch of firewood so that was one less thing I had to worry about bringing. This space is such a hidden gem and is so impressive!!! Can’t wait to go back soon!!

Very quiet and relaxing! Laying in the hammock at the top of the hill by the grilling area first thing in the morning, overlooking the mountains, was absolute bliss! Bring your own towels, charcoal lighter fluid, food for grilling, and mosquito spray.

The tent area is well shaded so even in 100 degree weather, I was comfortable. The bathroom is nearby and kept very clean. I checked in after hours. It was easy to check in and they left me a map to my site. The pool was a pleasant surprise. I felt safe as a single female camper. The electric gave me the opportunity to plug in an extension cord to be able to charge up my electronics.
