Fran has a wonderful gorgeous spot, Stella her lab is a wonderful hostess also. I am a female solo camper and Fran was so nice to block off the other camp site so I’d feel alone and secure and have some time to myself. I spent a few days on her dock watching dolphins and fish jump. So much beautiful nature in abundance. The stars on the lake are magical and I found more mushrooms than I had seen in so long. Very beautiful place I would definitely recommend and plan to totally come back.

This was our 2nd stay with Ron. It's a great choice for us. We can bring our 2 labs...who love the beach...and it's just a 5 minute drive to the state park beach. Ron provides a parking pass that saves us $16 a day. The camper is clean and supplies all bedding and kitchen items plus bath towels and toiletries...just bring your toothbrush and settle in. We'll be back!

Ron was a great host. He made sure we had plenty of fire wood every day and provided a large spot to walk our two dogs. The location was super close to everything Edisto had to offer. Ron's lot was super private and surrounded by the state park. Edisto was a super cute town with a very clean beach & no crowds. The restaurants around were all great too. We had a great time!

Loved the campsite. It was secluded, plenty of space and perfect for a relaxing 2 night camp. Jeff, the host, was very welcoming and I had a very enjoyable long conversation with him before leaving. He's a great guy and I will definitely be returning when given the opportunity.

This was an excellent place for us to stay as we explored the Charleston area. The property was private and we felt very secure during our stay here. The host, Jeff, met us at the gate when we pulled in. He was very amiable and gave us good tips about the area.
The driveway onto the property was a dirt and gravel mix. Despite the recent rains, our campervan had no problems driving in and out of our camping spot. The camping spot itself had a nice large and level gravel pad to park on. We heard owls hooting both nights of our stay. You wouldn't know that you we in the midst of a suburban setting. The location is very close to the Historic Charleston District. Only about a 15 to 20 minutes drive away.
We would definitely stay here again if our travels take us to this area again.

It was a nice level open area. Quite night, I could hear an Owl hooting. There was a TT on site which I assume belongs to the host. I felt I had total privacy. The cleared land for parking was far enough in back of property off the road so you do not hear any cars. No trees overhead so charging my solar was easy. Opening the gate was easy enough to manage by myself. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Would stay again and definitely recommend.
