Weekend Trip to The Bellefonte Campground

I absolutely loved my stay at Campground #79. It was the perfect escape from the city …peaceful, clean, and cozy in every way. The cabin had everything we needed, from a super relaxing hot tub to excellent heating that kept the space warm and comfortable. The host was amazing; attentive, responsive, and great with communication. They walked us through check-in and check-out, which made everything smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend this cabin for both couples and families looking to disconnect and recharge. The location also has plenty to do, with nearby restaurants and activities, all neatly listed in the guidebook inside the cabin. It truly had everything we needed for a perfect weekend getaway. Would definitely stay again

I loved the tiny home. My partner and I had a great time. Definitely bring cooking equipment though if you plan to cook. I wasn’t sure whether to bring any, and saw it said it had basic cooking equipment but it wasn’t much to work with. Other than that everything was great. Easy to navigate and arrived without issue. Came late so couldn’t find the cabin, but customer service was great and helped navigate us in the dark. Would definitely recommend and come back to the campground when it’s warmer out!

Cabin was amazing. Beyond clean, sleek, with modern functions. I got it especially for the hottub lol. Highly recommend checking out the antique stores in the area, and Big Valley antiques 40 mins away, a true shoppers haven. Can't speak for the food in the area since I brought my own. But well worth the trip and will tell all my friends.

Best campground I've stayed at, hands down. Neat as a pin, quiet, no amenity neglected or forgotten. Tiny house #80 is just perfect - you can't go wrong. Comfortable beds, lots of space (for at least 3 adults or more), great drip coffee (supplied), plenty of towels and TP, hot water galore, comfortable couch and dinner table, generously sized refrigerator and cool little kitchenette (and if it's your thing, 3 flat screen TVs - one in each BR!). I highly recommend Bellefonte Campground. We will be back!!

Weekend Trip to Farm Camping in Northcentral PA

We camped at Stacy and Jason’s at the tail end of a month-long road trip! They went out of their way to welcome us to the farm! Highlights included (in order): an AMAZING view (wow!), effortless bell tent and comfortable camping cots (zzzz!), delightful evening firefly watching, yummy eggs from the chickens and guinea fowl in the morning, and visiting with the four rescue pigs. This place was wonderful!! Super private and quiet. Absolutely the best place to unwind and just enjoy the quiet and nature. The host was super responsive, and super helpful. Plenty of wood for fires provided! Bug spray, lighter fluid, lighter, and some other stuff provided for use as well. The bell tent is super adorable and well maintained. 10/10 recommend and may even book again!!

We loved our stay at Sassafras Hollow! The farm was cute and everyone was very friendly and happy to show us around. We bought some produce from our hosts and it was delicious. Benny the farm dog is a real charmer too! The cabin was clean and air conditioned, we enjoyed looking through the books and movies. We also took a short drive to Cowan's Gap for a hike and a great view. Couldn't have asked for more!

My guests and I absolutely adored our cabin. It’s the perfect size for a few people whilst not feeling cluttered. The hot tub was amazing and we had a great fire as well. Rain took over one of our days so we didn’t get to explore as much as we would have liked. Maria at the front office was an absolute gem and made our trip so much easier to navigate. Absolutely love this campground!
