Our spacious campsites come equipped with fire rings and picnic tables, providing ample room for kids to play and explore. Enjoy leisurely strolls along our walking trail that winds through the property. We offer seasonal sites with full hook-ups, as well as nightly, weekly, monthly, and annual rates to accommodate your needs. Tent campers are always welcome!

3 nights at Mulberry Acres
Nice little cabin that made camping in January comfortable with heating. Offered basic necessities for cooking. No running water but there was a new edition built on for a bathroom instead of going outside to hike up a hill to a bathroom. There’s rain collection for flushing the toilet and there’s well water to grab drinkable water from anytime. The host was nice enough to fill both water jugs before we arrived. Very friendly people, I can tell they love their animals. The farm includes, but not limited to; 2 emus, 2 dogs, some cows, bunch of pigs, a goat, and a retired mustang horse named Charles. Definitely recommend doing a tour of the farm as you can be as interactive as you want with the animals. Do bring tall boots or shoes you don’t mind getting muddy if it’s rained recently or if you’ve never been on a farm. It is a farm after all, get used to the chance of getting messy if you love animals. We had a great time exploring the trails they had to offer even while it was raining. I will say some of the trails are very steep on a hill so be cautious while exploring. This time of year is maple tapping which I would of loved to do, but circumstances didn’t allow it and that’s okay, maybe next time! Overall, a really enjoyable time here and we are planning on coming back in the spring/summer to possibly kayak and pick wild berries on the trails. Can’t wait to come back, thank you for hosting us.

1 night at Star Lee Farm
Kevin was super accommodating and the cabin was very clean and cozy with lots of little extras. The outside of the cabin had a picnic table and fire pit and was private. Cell service was good enough to stream a movie on netflix on our laptop too. We will definitely stay here on the property again.

Everything was awesome. The little cabin stayed so warm and was the perfect size for our family of three plus our doggo!
The land was beautiful. Theresa and her husband were both so kind. We loved meeting their farm of animals. And she was easy to get a hold of and easy to chat with. We will definitely be going back. The porta potty is a short walk and they are working on a bunch of upgrades in the cabin too. The emus are wonderful and sweet, we visited them multiple times a day. I could go on and on. 100% recommended for an upgraded camping experience. Look forward to trying them out in warmer weather too!

Star Lee is a wonderful setting for a bucolic visit to Central PA. Close to Raystown Lake and other state lands it offers a nice stay for anyone to hike, bike, hunt, or fish in the area. Stargazing and daydreaming also included. As a working bee and hay farm, Star Lee offers the opportunity to settle in, relax and enjoy. It is clean, comfortable, and obviously well cared for. I highly recommend Star Lee and am still enjoying their honey. We’ll be back.

Weekend Trip to Star Lee Farm
We have stayed in a lot of hip camps, but this by far is one of the very best that we’ve stayed in. Some of the highlights: cozy cabin nicely decorated. No heat or electricity, but he had lanterns for us, but we brought our own. Nice outdoor area with a picnic table and a fire pit that was perfect. Also a gas grill for us to cook on. He is two other cabin places, but they are so far apart that you can’t really hear or see anyone else. The property is huge and it is a working bee farm and it was very cool. These are located nowhere near the cabin, so you never have to worry about the bees being near your cabin. Highly suggest you learn about raising bees from our host! He has delicious honey for sale and an awesome piece of property with lots of different birds and deer. we walked around his property the first day and went 1.7 miles so it is very large. Also, very nice that it is a close walk to the flushable toilets and hot water showers. This was also a huge plus for us in October. Kevin is very responsive. He is also retired military and very compassionate and energetic about his farm. We came up for the end of the road half marathon/4miler, but in addition to that there is much more in this area if you like the outdoors. We did not go to Raytown Lake / Alpaca farm which we will visit next time. We love to hike and within 15 minutes is beautiful hikes with awesome views in including the thousand steps and the standing stone trail. We highly recommend!!!

Weekend Trip to Mulberry Acres
The land is stunning -- much of it an old field with young trees taking over and plumes of wildflowers (currently goldenrod and aster). Great bird habitat. Mowed paths made for a fine adventurous walk. The cabin's bed was very comfortable, the stove was convenient, and our hosts friendly. It was great to have such a secluded spot close to our visit to Shikellamy State Park and Bucknell.

The intentionality of the cabin, combining elements of the past with the present, the view of the area mountains from the top of the property near the barn, and the hospitality from Tony’s son, Jake, make this a wonderful place to get away from the busyness of life! We loved our stay at Star Lee. The cabins are perfect getaway from the daily grind. Clean and comfortable. If you’re looking for wide open sky and some peace and quiet, look no further and head to Star Lee. Kevin is a gracious and accommodating host! He even checked in to ensure we returned home safe and sound. Simply can’t be beat and we’re very fortunate to have our first Hipcamp stay at Star Lee and looking forward to return. I loved staying at Mulberry Acres! The off grid cabin is perfect for a cozy camping experience for those who want a little rustic and a little glampy. The solar panels give enough electricity to run necessities. (Fan, lights, charging phones etc). The stairs to the loft are by far the easiest I have encountered, and I have stayed in quite a few places with lofts. They feel structurally sound, and safe. The bed in the loft is comfy and no need to duck. You can stand straight up! There is a camp stove if you want to cook something simple. There are even some spices provided! The fire pit is one of my favorite parts! The view from the fire pit is beautiful and peaceful. The trails are easy walking and there are a few of them. The portalet is a short hike up a steep little hill and down a grassy path behind the cabin. If you dont like walking a ways to the bathroom, you can bring your own camp toilet if you have one. Thats what I did. The owners are super friendly and gave me the grand tour of their farm and I got to meet all of the animals, even got to feed a few! This is the best hipcamp I have stayed at! Simple yet lovely and felt right at home! I will definitely be coming to stay again and again! 10/10 all the way around!!!!!

We absolutely loved it here! The fireflies, the trails, the berry bushes growing in abundance, the exceptionally kind, helpful and hardworking owners, the cozy cabin, the privacy and space! Everything was perfect and the kids and the dogs were so happy! We had an amazing time and it was such a sweet escape from the city we live in. ❤️

Weekend Trip to Sassafras Hollow
We loved our stay at Sassafras Hollow! The farm was cute and everyone was very friendly and happy to show us around. We bought some produce from our hosts and it was delicious. Benny the farm dog is a real charmer too! The cabin was clean and air conditioned, we enjoyed looking through the books and movies. We also took a short drive to Cowan's Gap for a hike and a great view. Couldn't have asked for more!

The cabin at Sassafras Hollow was peaceful and cozy! We loved all the handmade details, the huge porch, and our daily visits from Benny the farm dog. It was super quiet at night, and the surroundings were beautiful. I took a wood-turning lesson with Jake and made a wooden bowl, he is a great teacher!

My girlfriend and I loved our stay at Kevin's Honey Bee Cabin! The cabin was super cozy and clean. He even had us all set up with little extra stuff like a box of fire starters, a roll of paper towels, bottled water, and a free sample of honey from his farm! The firepit and picnic table were well taken care of and the grill looked brand new. The shower house was a short walk from the cabin was also clean and had hot water. He was very good at checking in with us over message and occasionally in person to see if we needed anything. We went for our 8 year anniversary and to see the lunar eclipse. It was convenient since there was a nice open field for stargazing so we had a perfect view of the eclipse! Overall a great stay, thanks Kevin for a great weekend!
