We are a small vegetable, fruit and herb farm that has just been getting started over the past few years after relocating from farming in California. Our property is an old farm that historically was primarily used for pasture. We have several vegetable gardens, a berry patch and two small fruit orchards and a forest that campers are welcome to explore. There are about two acres of pasture, but no animals currently grazing, only the chickens that may or may not be within a fenced in area depending on the day and season. We are currently selling produce from our gardens and eggs from our free roaming chickens along with our kitchen products produced on farm in our licensed farm kitchen. Learn more about this land: Pitch your tent near the creek in our forest or hilltop with a view of surrounding farms or in a pasture where you will wake with the morning sun. We have various locations perfect for setting up your space for the night. We do often have two bookings a night on the weekends, it is a first come first pick option for the sites. However, with larger groups we may require to set up in the forest site near the creek or near the farm building might be another option for those who do not want to walk. We are a small diverse vegetable, herb and fruit farm so we welcome campers anywhere as long as they respect the boundries of the gardens and the orchards. All sites may require walking a little from your car, but some cars are able to get a little closer to the sites(depending on the car & the weather). We also have a small flock of egg laying hens that roams the property along with nine friendly barn cats and a friendly(but big) farm dog that you may see around the farm. There are countless species of birds that can be seen around as well as colorful butterflies, moths and dragon flies regularly flying about. Campers have access to a rustic bathroom(no hot water unless you boil it) and a partial kitchen as well as a charcoal grill, community fire pit and a picnic table. If you would like to cook onsite we have minimal amount of cookware available to use and you can buy from the farm whatever seasonal produce and/or eggs you might need. Our farm is down the road from wineries, breweries, a tea room and various other Frederick county attractions. There are numerous historic sites within a short drive such as Harpers Ferry and Civil War battlefields, including Gettysburg and Antietam. We are a 15 minute drive to historic downtown Frederick, 10 minutes from the center of historic New Market while being about an hour from downtown D.C. and 45 minutes to Baltimore. Our central location is great for site seeing around the area during the day, then you can spend the evenings relaxing around the farm. * For small RVs we can accomodate you in some space near the farm buildings. **The hilltop has some flat areas, but there is also a good slope depending on where you set up, so it is really best for campers with only one tent. This is next to a newly planted orchard, so there is also the option of some flat areas around the little fruit trees. Some cars are able to drive up the hill to park on the hiltop, depends on your car, but we are very strict about no driiving in the orchard. ***Plenty of space for larger groups as well in the grove site in our forest, near the creek. If your group has more than 4 adults we may require that you use this space as it is most appropriate for larger groups. Some cars are able to drive up the hill to get a little closer, but be prepared to walk up from the parking space near the barns which takes 3-5 minutes or a two minute walk from the hilltop.

Welcome to Eddie Mae's Tiny Cabin. Just 90 minutes from Washington DC and Baltimore. Nestled in a residential neighborhood on 1 1/2 acres with winter views of the Shenandoah River. Just 7.5 miles from Historic Harpers Ferry, 9 miles from Charles Town Races/Slots, close to Harpers Ferry Adventure Center, River Riders, multiple hiking areas and many wineries and breweries. You will still get the privacy you long for on our wooded spot with a large area cleared out in the middle . Are you looking for a unique stay while still enjoying the modern comforts of home? Then this is for you! Eddie Mae's is just 288 SF. It has a 250 gal. water holding tank, 5 gal. hot water heater and dry flush toilet. The couch turns into a queen bed, the loft has two twin beds. The property has access to the river walking distance where you can relax, float on tubes (provided) or bring your own kayak. There is also a firepit with Adirondack chairs, a gas grill, lounge chairs and indoor and outdoor games for your enjoyment. 1 pet is allowed for an additional fee. Please message me for details. Tall Oaks Campsite: Tall Oaks Campsite is a private site, great for families and friends and is our only rustic style site, so no water or electricity, designed for 1-6 people with parking for 3 cars on site and space for 4 average size tents. This site has a single 8-foot picnic table, portable toilet, scenic overlook, hammock, fireplace, and charcoal grill. Only a short walk from our tree house where guests can relax and enjoy forest bathing. Guests are given an allotted amount of free firewood, miles of hiking trails, and use of communal facilities including a hot shower and flush toilet. Twisted Oak: Twisted Oak Campsite is a private site great for families and friends. This medium sized luxury site includes water and electricity on site, designed for 1-10 guests with parking for 4 cars on site and has space for 16 average sized tents. This site has a 10-foot picnic table, portable toilet, scenic overlook, hammock, fireplace, charcoal grill, and on-site lights. Guests are given an allotted amount of free firewood, miles of hiking trails, and use of communal facilities including a hot shower and flush toilet. Red Maple Campsite: Red Maple Campsite is a private site great for large groups. This large luxury site includes water and electricity on site, designed for 1-12 guests with on-site parking space that is 90ft long and 20ft wide, for an RV or 6-8 cars and overflow parking for several more cars. It is designed to be pulled or backed into and then backed our pulled out of. This site can handle several tents and has two 6-foot picnic tables, two portable toilets, a scenic overlook, hammock, fireplace, a charcoal grill, and on-site lights. Guests are given an allotted amount of free firewood, miles of hiking trails, and use of communal facilities including a hot shower and flush toilet. Aspen RV Campsite: Aspen RV Campsite is a private site great for a family in their RV. This medium sized luxury site includes water and electricity on site, designed for a single RV number of guests is dependent on RV size, maximum 6 people. This site is a drive through site, so guests don’t have to back in or out. The site can also handle a couple of tents and extra cars. This site also has a 10-foot picnic table, portable toilet, scenic overlook, hammock, fireplace, charcoal grill, and bench. Guests are given an allotted amount of free firewood, miles of hiking trails, and use of communal facilities including a hot shower and flush toilet.

We are a small vegetable, fruit and herb farm that has just been getting started over the past few years after relocating from farming in California. Our property is an old farm that historically was primarily used for pasture. We have several vegetable gardens, a berry patch and two small fruit orchards and a forest that campers are welcome to explore. There are about two acres of pasture, but no animals currently grazing, only the chickens that may or may not be within a fenced in area depending on the day and season. We are currently selling produce from our gardens and eggs from our free roaming chickens along with our kitchen products produced on farm in our licensed farm kitchen. Learn more about this land: Pitch your tent near the creek in our forest or hilltop with a view of surrounding farms or in a pasture where you will wake with the morning sun. We have various locations perfect for setting up your space for the night. We do often have two bookings a night on the weekends, it is a first come first pick option for the sites. However, with larger groups we may require to set up in the forest site near the creek or near the farm building might be another option for those who do not want to walk. We are a small diverse vegetable, herb and fruit farm so we welcome campers anywhere as long as they respect the boundries of the gardens and the orchards. All sites may require walking a little from your car, but some cars are able to get a little closer to the sites(depending on the car & the weather). We also have a small flock of egg laying hens that roams the property along with nine friendly barn cats and a friendly(but big) farm dog that you may see around the farm. There are countless species of birds that can be seen around as well as colorful butterflies, moths and dragon flies regularly flying about. Campers have access to a rustic bathroom(no hot water unless you boil it) and a partial kitchen as well as a charcoal grill, community fire pit and a picnic table. If you would like to cook onsite we have minimal amount of cookware available to use and you can buy from the farm whatever seasonal produce and/or eggs you might need. Our farm is down the road from wineries, breweries, a tea room and various other Frederick county attractions. There are numerous historic sites within a short drive such as Harpers Ferry and Civil War battlefields, including Gettysburg and Antietam. We are a 15 minute drive to historic downtown Frederick, 10 minutes from the center of historic New Market while being about an hour from downtown D.C. and 45 minutes to Baltimore. Our central location is great for site seeing around the area during the day, then you can spend the evenings relaxing around the farm. * For small RVs we can accomodate you in some space near the farm buildings. **The hilltop has some flat areas, but there is also a good slope depending on where you set up, so it is really best for campers with only one tent. This is next to a newly planted orchard, so there is also the option of some flat areas around the little fruit trees. Some cars are able to drive up the hill to park on the hiltop, depends on your car, but we are very strict about no driiving in the orchard. ***Plenty of space for larger groups as well in the grove site in our forest, near the creek. If your group has more than 4 adults we may require that you use this space as it is most appropriate for larger groups. Some cars are able to drive up the hill to get a little closer, but be prepared to walk up from the parking space near the barns which takes 3-5 minutes or a two minute walk from the hilltop.

Your place of retreat seems to be a world away, but is just ten minutes off the interstate, 90 minutes from both Washington, DC, and Baltimore. As you descend into this magical place, the first thing you may notice is the frenetic din of our busy world melting away, replaced with the sounds of nature -- birds, trees, water, crickets -- all singing to remind you of timeless truths you've misplaced in your travels. We've been preparing for your visit. Come and rest a while. Explore the woods. Create your art. You will find inspiration in the rustling leaves, but you won't find a neighbor anywhere in your line of sight. We are mapping out trails and special spots around the property for meditation and contemplation. When you're ready to explore beyond the property, a ten-minute drive will take you to historic Berkeley Springs, WV -- home of America's First Spa, where George Washington and many generations since have come to take in the healing properties of the mineral-infused springs. Here you will find locally curated art, a farmer's market, vegan and not-so-vegan dining options, funky shops, and lots of history. Six minutes north, you'll find Hancock, MD and the C and O rail trail that can take you all along the Potomac River for miles of easy riding or trekking. The yurt has a queen bed for two, a mini-kitchen, comfortable chairs, a dining room table and a mini-split for heating and air conditioning. Folks often reserve it as a retreat for anniversaries, birthdays, or just to get a break from the bustle. If you want to bring more than two people, we have two campsites you can use for four more people. You just pay $20 more per person. You'll have the whole property to yourselves (besides us -- we live here full time in the cabin). Your reservation includes the exclusive use of a beautiful fully appointed restroom, so you can enjoy a hot shower after a day of exploring. The restroom is down a short path from the yurt and about a one-minute walk from either campsite. More about that yurt. It's a 20-foot diameter yurt (314 square feet) on an elevated deck overlooking the valley and creek that offers more of a glamping experience -- complete with kitchenette, queen-sized futon bed, and an HVAC mini-split to keep you toasty or cool during your stay. We have shaped this space to be a place of healing and respite. Alison is a psychotherapist; Ross writes and performs music on the side. Our hope for this land is that it becomes a regular stop on your journey -- a place for rest and retreat with a healthy dose of nature. We offer special services for those who feel the need. Ross is a seasoned songwriter and can offer a songwriting workshop to help you refine your work or find your voice.
