Weekend Trip to Camp Loudoun

The RV was spotless!! The view was of a beautiful, north-facing mountain ridge. If you are interested in night sky events this is your answer. Everything I needed was in the RV. I loved seeing the long-horned cattle and the beautiful big red barn as well as meeting Josh and family. They were very welcoming.

Had an amazing weekend at the Silo house! Enjoyed a campfire with smores at night. Played some records and boardgames. Place was clean and exactly as pictured. No long laundry list of chores to check out was a nice plus! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Weekend Trip to Foxfield Farm

This place was great! The farm is very cute, the hosts were quite friendly and informative while still allowing for privacy and free roam of their space. The RV itself is very cozy-the beds are COMFORTABLE, the space was clean, and warm for our late fall arrival. It had all the basics (and some extras) for enjoying our time in the space. And outdoor are several options for gathering including a table, a variety of seating options, and firepit. (The hosts were even generous to offer wood). The location is near all the best paddling, hiking, and history in the area. We found several lovely restaurants nearby as well as gas and quick food options within 5-6 minutes. I look forward to staying here again.

1 night at Conewago Glamp and Paddle

Craig was the consummate host! His place is beautiful, directly on the creek. So many amenities!! I enjoyed the fire pit, the Wood-Fired sauna and the outdoor (hot) shower. The bedroom was super cozy and zen- soft blankets and comfy mattress. I would 10/10 recommend💚

Awesome experience - my kids asked afterwards whether this spot could be our new house! Terry and Maria were very communicative and made for a great experience.

Walk up the easy 14 steps into this A Frame tiny house and you'll be surprised at the roominess. Inside you'll discover a full kitchen, full bathroom with shower, living area with sofa bed sectional, dining area, and loft with a queen bed. Step out on the deck, just a stone's throw from the river and listen to the sounds below of the gurgling moving water over the rocks. Move down below the treehouse to find another huge deck with a hot tub, relaxing seating, and a table for dining outside. But that's not all; step off that deck to a fire pit and steps leading to the river. The river is great for swimming, fishing, and boating and we even supply a canoe and kayaks.

The Weaverling House is a historic home, conveniently located along Route 30 in Everett, PA. This classic home was built in the 1800s and maintains its historic feel with modern amenities. In the space surrounding, the home, we can accommodate tents or RVs with electric only hook up. All of our guests are welcome to use our recently installed HEATED POOL. Enjoy our beautiful courtyard around the pool and take a dip in the Aruba style fiberglass pool with tanning ledge. Pool depth is approximately 3.5-5 feet deep. The home can be rented entirely (4 bed, 3 baths) or by room. The master suite includes its own bathroom with shower and closet. One first floor bedroom has an accessible bathroom and two second floor bedrooms share a bathroom, also on the second floor. There is 10 wooded acres behind the home with ample space to hike and explore. The property is located across the road from the beautiful and scenic Juniata River if you love to spend time kayaking or fishing.

Conewago Glamp and Paddle

Enjoy 8 beautiful, secluded acres on the Conewago Creek at Bald Hill, Northern York Co. My homestead was once part of the Conewago Turf Farm. It borders the creek a length of 1100 feet, mostly maintained with easy access. Camp is at the base of a steep section of the Conewago Mountains, creating privacy and protection from wind and afternoon sun. This is not a whole house rental. I have a one bedroom, queen size bed, kitchenette, private restroom and outdoor shower with on demand hot water. There's plenty of room for tent or van camping. Please see pictures for detail. I live in the house above the glamping quarters. Plenty of good fishing and paddling here. I offer shuttle service for 1 or 2 day float trips, paddle in one day, paddle out the next day. Canoes, kayaks, paddles and PFD's are included in the price of your stay. The Conewago is very beginner paddling but remote, very clean and full of wildlife. Gifford Pinchot State Park is 7 miles away. I have two paddle boards if you want to paddle the 3 mile lake. This adventure would require a short hike out to a parking area. Relax in a wood fired Norwegian sauna and cook in a Peruvian wood fired earth oven or cook under the stars over an open fire. Firewood is also included. Foodies will rejoice here. I live and work here, part time blacksmith and wood worker. I'll assist you in any way or do my best to stay out of your way. Wildlife love it here, I think you will too.
