Camp is at the base of a steep section of the Conewago Mountains, creating privacy and protection from wind and afternoon sun. This is not a whole house rental. Relax in a wood fired Norwegian sauna and cook in a Peruvian wood fired earth oven or cook under the stars over an open fire. Firewood is also included. Foodies will rejoice here. Brand new Keystone 8 x 18 ft Hideout Camper is waiting for you! Close to shopping, dining, and work. Enjoy your own private shower and bathroom inside the camper along with a kitchen and fold down Murphy bed. Please note water usage is very limited (30 gallons a week) because the camper is not connected to house plumbing. You will have to shower at a gym, work, or at a friend's place. I also have a shed for storage with a 5 x 5 x 5 space for your items. On site parking for no cost is within a few feet of your camper. The camper is plugged into shore power and has a microwave, A/C, and charging outlets for phone and other items. It also has Solar and a large battery if power is lost. Perfect spot to spend the night in our van. Great location close to Frederick, but very peaceful. Hosts had great communication. Got a great night's sleep and were able to enjoy some of the local trails the next day.

I stayed at Conus SKY Farm (now known as Camp Comus) multiple times in my RV. I love the farm animals, the Camp Hosts, the solitude, and the feel of the forest. 20, 30, and 50 amp electric, bathroom, and central water source is available. I will definitely be back next year.

My husband, myself, our kids and grandkids all met up at this amazing farm just overnight for a wonderful and rare campfire get together, but wished we had stayed longer. The grandkids loved all the animals but especially Zeus, the big, super sweet dog of the property! The expansive property accommodates RVs well with plenty of space to be private yet camp amongst the animals. Our camp host greeted us, got us set up with power, and told us all about the workings of the farm and all that was available to us on the property. These extras that you don’t normally get at most Hipcamp properties was really cool! A barn with a restroom and gathering area where chili was available the night we were there along with many homemade and local goodies like shortbread cookies, honey, dried lavender sachets and produce for purchase. We happily donated a small amount toward taking care of the rescued animals on the farm. A couple of our kids and their families live in the area so we will definitely be back! Thanks Juanita it was a pleasure!!

I just loved this place. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. I just bought a 23ft travel trailer and this was my first stop on a 3 week trip. Its November so the place only had a couple campers that weren't seasonal residents campers. I had my 4 dogs so the campground put me away from anyone else which was great. My site backed the woods so it was a beautiful view out back. The staff helped me back my new camper in, and the spot I got was very big. I love little orleans, and the surrounding areas. Bills place never dissapoints and is a 5 min drive from the campground. I will definitely be back

The hospitality, cleanliness and care that goes into Grouseland is impeccable. 12/10.

Beautiful campsite! We stayed at Tall Oaks and it was just as the others said - far enough removed from the other campsites and at the end of the access road so as to make it very private. The site included a grill, fire pit, trash bins, and picnic table which was immensely helpful! The only thing to be conscious of it that the main area to pitch our tent was relatively flat, but not perfectly flat. It was fine for 2 nights as long as you make sure you flip your beds around not to sleep on the downhill 🙃 All considered, we still LOVED this campsite and will absolutely return in the future!

7 nights at Comus Sky Farm

Juanita's horse farm has plenty of room for RV and tent campers. I enjoyed the quiet country feel, the animals (her sweet dogs, the ducks and geese and the neighbors horse), and the solitude of walking her trails surrounded by autumn trees. The camp hosts are absolutely fantastic. Friendly, accommodating, and generous. They made me feel like family. The Comus Inn restaurant is a hidden jewel. There are lots of nearby areas to explore, breweries and wineries to sample, and the trails of Sugarloaf mountain are worth your time. I plan to return next year at this time.

Our stay at Mulehalla was great! Site 10 is even bigger than we expected. It's tucked back away from the other sites so has some privacy. The host was very responsive when we had a couple questions, even though we arrived late. Our dog loved exploring the campground and walking by the C&O.

I love spending time at Craig's property. This was my second visit and somehow it was better than the first trip which was amazing. We weren't able to paddle bc the creek was down, and it wasn't impactful to our fun at all. Just book it! And if you can check out the nearby dirt race track BAPS, fun for kids and adults alike.
