Creekside now has electric ceiling lights, hot plate, mini fridge, etc. With a king bed (or two twins) and a bunk bed set, the cabin can sleep 4, with room for extra cots if needed. The gazebo has an outlet as well. Please provide your own linens, cooking utensils, dishes, and other camping wear. Cabin can be heated with a woodstove. As of Spring 2026 our cabin is now fully insulated, with tile flooring. Warmer in in cold weather, and cooler during the summer. Angelica NY is just a few miles up the road, where you will find cute antique shops, dollar general, post office, gas etc. We love our little slice of private water side camping here in Angelica and hope you will take care of it like it was yours. Please no carving of names or dates in any structure, do not cut or chop down any living tree or vegetation. Our property has a lot of walnut trees- watch for falling nuts come late summer and fall! No dumping or putting anything down toilet pit except toilet paper!

Welcome to our little slice of heaven along Pine Creek at the southern end of the "PA Grand Canyon". It's an outdoor lover's dream. Cabin currently for rent. The camp lies inside of Tiadaghton State Forest on the west side of Pine Creek in the Pennsylvania Wilds. The property is 5 acres, embedded deep in public land. On the property there is a cabin and one very large campsite (not currently in use). The area is beautiful for paddling, floating, fishing, hiking, biking, rock skipping, dipping your toes, swimming hole gems, searching for waterfalls, writing retreats. There are hundreds of miles of hiking, mountain bike and ATV trails, and some of the best fishing and stargazing on the East Coast. There is a 62 mile -rails-to-trails that runs along the other side of Pine Creek from Wellsboro to Jersey Shore, PA. Our camp is located on a secluded hill - a relaxing oasis removed from the rest of the world - read a book in a hammock, build campfires, grill yummy food, let the kids run around like crazy, play a lot of cards. It a 2 minute walk from the property to public access to Pine Creek. It is a 45 minute drive to paddle the Western Branch of the Susquehanna near Lock Haven, PA. Note: Cabin is currently available. Towner's Country Paradise started out as a wild forest and pasture for cows in the 1940's, owned by Llewellyn Towner. In the 1960s, Llewellyn's love for aviation led him to construct a small airstrip and hangar, and then his son Terry began to plant Christmas Trees (no more cows) and clear much of the land. By the early 1970's our main and largest pond was built and since that time our fully functional cabin, several more fish ponds, roads, trails, running water and generated electricity have been added. Christmas Trees are still grown and harvested by Terry's son Scott Towner. My ultimate goal is to be able to provide a place for man to be nurtured, where nature & wildlife will thrive, always striving to keep the environment as pristine & serene as possible. We had a wonderful, quick weekend getaway to Camp Skipping Rock! We had 2 adults and 5 teenagers with us and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. If you are looking for a “fancy” place to stay, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, private, cosy camp, this is the place for you. We loved the big yard and the proximity to the creek was great. The boys spent a ton of time swimming and fishing, while the girls painted rocks, swam and put puzzles together. Our dogs loved the freedom this private camp provided and my husband and I enjoyed the peace and quiet. Everyone in our group agreed that we should come back for a longer stay. Weekend Trip to Hillside Camp

Hillside is absolutely beautiful! The grounds are well maintained with plenty of space to run and play. It has SO many little "extras" to make it "homey" that my family was wishing we had booked our stay for more than just a "weekend getaway". Leah and Dustin were very easily reached, and made check in/out so easy. Everything about this site is so thoughtfully planned out, it is the perfect place to enjoy time in nature.

We had a wonderful couple nights' stay in a cabin at Cozy Embers! Everything we saw was clean and well-maintained, but the bathrooms deserve a special shout out - I've never taken a nicer shower while camping in my life! Jessica was friendly and responsive, and the place felt welcoming, safe, and quiet. I would absolutely recommend a stay here.

The site was wonderful! We especially enjoyed boating on the pond, riding around in the golf cart to explore the property, and visiting the waterfall. If we are able to visit again, we'll definitely plan to bring lots of lanterns for the cloudy/rainy times without electricity. The cabin was comfortable with a well-functioning kitchen and it was a very relaxing visit.

A pleasant surprise. Was just looking for a simple 4 wall cabin to avoid a weekend of thunderstorms in a Tent. The site is clean and well maintained. Beds comfy, Owners are great. AND Electric???? unheard of. Water Spigot...Clean (for a campsite) showers and restrooms. Mixed use of cabins, trailers, mobile homes, tents, generally well spread out. They even have a small general store for basics. Location is perfect for jaunts into the National Forest, fishing, hunting spots as well. Could not have asked for anything better. Makin' me rethink tent camping???....ok,,,maybe not.. but great option.

Cabin is near the hills , absolutely gorgeous sunrise and sunset , huge land with greenery to walk in evening Perfect camping style shower / cabin had cozy bed and all basic things you would need for outing. My trip was amazing! The hosts were very accommodating to my last minute trip. The campsite is so cute and has so much allowing you to really pack the fun items and not worry about chairs and tables. The creek was phenomenal. I wanted to give my dog the opportunity to around and stretch his legs. He had so much fun zooming around the property, and using the rush of the creek as a “waterslide”. The fire pit was in a perfect location and provided an awesome cozy atmosphere. Great for people who really enjoy getting full use of a camping location!!
