* Showers are seasonal, with the last day of use on October 15th. You’re welcome to bring your own portable shower and use the shower house for privacy.
* The shower system requires access to a cigarette lighter port (vehicle or portable battery) to power the pump.
* The property is solar-powered with no electrical hookups, so we recommend bringing flashlights and backup battery packs for charging devices. On low-sun days, solar lighting may be limited.
* During rainy or muddy conditions, and in winter, access to the hilltop sites may require 4WD, and even then, it is not guaranteed—especially in early spring. Please plan accordingly.

Creekside now has electric ceiling lights, hot plate, mini fridge, etc. With a king bed (or two twins) and a bunk bed set, the cabin can sleep 4, with room for extra cots if needed. The gazebo has an outlet as well. Please provide your own linens, cooking utensils, dishes, and other camping wear. Cabin can be heated with a woodstove. As of Spring 2026 our cabin is now fully insulated, with tile flooring. Warmer in in cold weather, and cooler during the summer.
Angelica NY is just a few miles up the road, where you will find cute antique shops, dollar general, post office, gas etc.
We love our little slice of private water side camping here in Angelica and hope you will take care of it like it was yours. Please no carving of names or dates in any structure, do not cut or chop down any living tree or vegetation. Our property has a lot of walnut trees- watch for falling nuts come late summer and fall! No dumping or putting anything down toilet pit except toilet paper!

Towner's Country Paradise started out as a wild forest and pasture for cows in the 1940's, owned by Llewellyn Towner. In the 1960s, Llewellyn's love for aviation led him to construct a small airstrip and hangar, and then his son Terry began to plant Christmas Trees (no more cows) and clear much of the land. By the early 1970's our main and largest pond was built and since that time our fully functional cabin, several more fish ponds, roads, trails, running water and generated electricity have been added. The southern section of the property ascends abruptly from 2050'-2250'. The northern range is less abrupt.
It has been my passion & a genuine labor of love to keep this environment as pristine as possible. My ultimate goal is to be able to provide a place for man to be nurtured, where nature & wildlife will thrive, always striving to keep the environment as pristine & serene as possible. The cabin was nice. It had good heating, a nice bed, a nice bathroom, and it had lots of forms of entertainment. The cabin also had wifi and a flat screen tv you could stream on. The host was also very good with helping us if we were confused on anything. I definitely plan on staying here again.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at Stergelandia. We stayed in the Gumdrop cabin which was decorated beautifully and peacefully with colorful tapestries and pillows. Despite it being chilly out we were able to sleep comfortably with extra blankets and some hand warmers. It rained one morning and watching/hearing it fall on the plexiglass wall was amazingly beautiful. We enjoyed the observation deck and took a short hike. We made a cozy fire and used the cooking gear provided to make a nice dinner. We cannot wait for our film to be developed as every part of this trip was stunning. We will definitely be back, Jennifer was a great host and has made a beautiful nature oasis on her land.

My husband, 2 year old, and I stayed at River's Edge for one night and it was idyllic! We rented a canoe, brought it with us, and enjoyed peace down the shallow, quiet river. There was a small ice cream shop/restaurant across the street to walk to. Tracy & Rob were responsive and available for anything we needed, and the tent was clean, no bugs, and warm/cozy.

Our family had a fantastic stay at Creekside on camp road. The cabin so nice and very very clean. The site had more than enough seating for our large family and areas for us to set up tents. The outhouse was well maintained well lit at night. The creek was just perfect for our 7 year old to play in the water and even watch some deer go by. Leah was incredibly attentive and answered any questions we had right away. We will definitely be back.

Jennifer has created such a peacefully spacious getaway! Casa Abuela was just as pictured, and I was pretty excited to have some rain so I could open it up and cook cozily underneath the clear plexiglass. So many amenities, and plenty of firewood as mentioned. I ventured around the property, met some small friends who live around the ponds and in the meditation garden, and spent my time packing up imagining my next stay here. I’m sure I’ll be back soon! 🌟
