Trillium is a wilderness community and retreat center tucked into a vast valley of the Siskiyou Mountains of Southern Oregon. There is no cell service at Trillium. Internet is available on the south end of the property.
This is an active retreat property, so there may be groups or other individuals there as well. If you are interested in hosting an event at Trillium, let us know!
Ruch is our closest town. It has a bar, hardware store, grocery and other basic necessities. Jacksonville is a cute rustic town with a number of eating and shopping possibilities. Medford, about 10 minutes further has the big box stores and more diverse food options. Ashland is an artistic and creative town worth visiting. There are always lots of events.

Cook on an outdoor gas grill with a skillet and saucepan, and enjoy outdoor dining at a picnic table. Dishes, linens, and bedding are provided. WiFi speed is suitable for basic use. Mobile phones connect through WiFi. The cabin is non-smoking. Children eight years and up are welcome.
Summer recreational areas are nearby with miles of trails, including the Pacific Crest Trail, are nearby. Howard Prairie Lake is across the road. Howard Prairie Lake is a local favorite for fishing for Rainbow Trout and smallmouth bass. Birdwatchers can see eagles, pelicans, geese, ducks, hawks, herons, and many other bird species.
A 20-minute drive will take you to Lake of the Woods, where you can dine, hike, and kayak, or snowshoe and cross-country ski in the winter. Crater Lake National Park is 50 miles away.

You will appreciate the peace and quiet of this little cabin on Rock Creek, situated on 11 acres of forest in Williams Oregon. The only sounds you'll hear are the birds in the trees and the flowing creek water. Enjoy sitting on the deck overlooking the confluence of Rock Creek and East Fork Williams Creek. A bridge crosses Rock Creek and there is a hiking trail beyond.
Our garden hot tub is a welcome place to soak and enjoy the stars at night. Its an older tub but still keeps the water at 102 degrees.
Our cabin has a kitchenette with a small fridge, sink, 2-burner gas stovetop, microwave, teapot, crockpot, toaster, and 2-cup coffee maker, plus a few dishes, cutlery, and pots and pans - enough for simple meal preparation. Coffee, tea, sugar, and creamer are provided.
The cabin has a small woodstove as its only heat source. A little wood can be provided, and we provide newspaper, matches, and fire starters. There is an abundance of kindling around the property - great for getting a fire going. The stove holds 18" x 4" split logs, if you have some to bring. There are two smaller stuffed chairs, and two bar stools at a counter/bar with views of the creek.
The bathroom has a shower and vanity sink, and towels and toiletries are provided. There is hot and cold running water, although the 3-gallon hot water heater limits showers to less than 5 minutes.
Nice sturdy steps lead up to the loft upstairs which has an 8" full-sized (wider than a twin but narrower than a queen) memory foam mattress with fresh linens. The loft is low and cozy which allows the camper to sit up on the bed but not stand up.
A compost toilet is about 100 yards away, and has a rechargeable motion detector indoor light. Bring your flashlights to find the compost toilet as well as the hot tub as the property is very dark.
WiFi is available. The password is listed in the binder on the table. Some games and puzzles are provided.

At an elevation just under 3000 feet, the Ridge gets lots of sun, with cold nights and hot days in winter and summer respectively. This is a drier climate between May - October meaning some risk of smoke impacts from area forests, although the mountainside location generally offers clean fresh air with stunning sunsets and excellent stargazing. Best to arrive in daylight to orient and take in the scene! Count on fair to good cell service, limited central wifi and power.
The land contains over a mile of trails with vistas, rock features, gnarly old "bonsai" oak trees, native plants and wildflowers. Your stay here directly supports ongoing conservation, watershed protection and fire mitigation work around the site, inquire if curious! Wildlife is prolific, mostly the friendly sort however visitors should be mindful to avoid unwelcome encounters, and any small children or pets kept under close watch. Your host can address questions or concerns.
The property is not a park, playground, or big backyard, in fact probably not much like anyplace you've been...prepare for a novel experience! Come as a guest, not a customer, and find yourself at home in the wild. Activity and development on site are minimized to enhance natural habitat and ambience. Guests are advised to minimize disturbance of other occupants and lifeforms--it's fine to have fun and make some intermittent noise but disruptive or damaging behavior will be curtailed. Non-disruptive youth visitors welcome with reasonable supervision. This location is not set up (yet) for people with mobility challenges, or people with no prior wilderness camping experience. Tucked into 70 private acres in the mountains of Southern Oregon’s Illinois Valley, Whisper Canyon Ranch feels like a hidden world of meadows, forest trails, and starry nights. We’re just 4 miles from Selma—easy to reach, yet surrounded by BLM land and pure wilderness. Guests are close to some of the region’s favorite natural gems: Lake Selmac (1 mile), the Illinois River (5 miles), Oregon Caves (45 min), and the Redwoods (1 hour).
Whisper Canyon is a wedding & event venue first and foremost, which means the land has been thoughtfully developed for beauty, comfort, and gatherings.
Outside of our private events, we welcome a unique community of travelers into this enchanted forest. Cabin guests, tent campers, van life nomads, and glampers are all welcome here.
We can host up to 34 overnight guests in our cabins and larger private groups on select weekends using our main event spaces like the Pavilion and the Cosmic Café. Keep in mind that because we host weddings, the noise curfew on the weekends is midnight.

Trillium is a wilderness community and retreat center tucked into a vast valley of the Siskiyou Mountains of Southern Oregon. Ruch is our closest town. It has a bar, hardware store, grocery and other basic necessities. Jacksonville is a cute rustic town with a number of eating and shopping possibilities. Medford, about 10 minutes further has the big box stores and more diverse food options. Ashland is an artistic and creative town worth visiting. There are always lots of events.

Summer recreational areas are nearby with miles of trails, including the Pacific Crest Trail, are nearby. Howard Prairie Lake is across the road. Howard Prairie Lake is a local favorite for fishing for Rainbow Trout and smallmouth bass. Birdwatchers can see eagles, pelicans, geese, ducks, hawks, herons, and many other bird species.
A 20-minute drive will take you to Lake of the Woods, where you can dine, hike, and kayak, or snowshoe and cross-country ski in the winter. Crater Lake National Park is 50 miles away.

Our garden hot tub is a welcome place to soak and enjoy the stars at night. Its an older tub but still keeps the water at 102 degrees.
Our cabin has a kitchenette with a small fridge, sink, 2-burner gas stovetop, microwave, teapot, crockpot, toaster, and 2-cup coffee maker, plus a few dishes, cutlery, and pots and pans - enough for simple meal preparation. Coffee, tea, sugar, and creamer are provided.
The cabin has a small woodstove as its only heat source. A little wood can be provided, and we provide newspaper, matches, and fire starters. There is an abundance of kindling around the property - great for getting a fire going. The stove holds 18" x 4" split logs, if you have some to bring. There are two smaller stuffed chairs, and two bar stools at a counter/bar with views of the creek.
The bathroom has a shower and vanity sink, and towels and toiletries are provided. There is hot and cold running water, although the 3-gallon hot water heater limits showers to less than 5 minutes.
Nice sturdy steps lead up to the loft upstairs which has an 8" full-sized (wider than a twin but narrower than a queen) memory foam mattress with fresh linens. The loft is low and cozy which allows the camper to sit up on the bed but not stand up.
A compost toilet is about 100 yards away, and has a rechargeable motion detector indoor light. Bring your flashlights to find the compost toilet as well as the hot tub as the property is very dark.
WiFi is available. The password is listed in the binder on the table. Some games and puzzles are provided.

All of our farm goods are available for sale. Be sure to ask about orchard raised fresh eggs, neighbor's milk, seasonal fruit jam, fresh fruit and berries, vegetables, and sprouted nut butter.

Welcome to adventure in far north Siskiyou County! Firebird Ridge presents a fantastic secluded camp station in a beautiful semi-wild setting with huge open sky views over 50 miles of the Klamath River canyon and Siskiyou Crest. Just 10 minutes off the freeway, a variety of simple thoughtfully laid out sites afford comfy car and tent camping or smaller RVs and vans, with ample privacy.
At an elevation just under 3000 feet, the Ridge gets lots of sun, with cold nights and hot days in winter and summer respectively. This is a drier climate between May - October meaning some risk of smoke impacts from area forests, although the mountainside location generally offers clean fresh air with stunning sunsets and excellent stargazing. Best to arrive in daylight to orient and take in the scene! Count on fair to good cell service, limited central wifi and power.
The land contains over a mile of trails with vistas, rock features, gnarly old "bonsai" oak trees, native plants and wildflowers. Your stay here directly supports ongoing conservation, watershed protection and fire mitigation work around the site, inquire if curious! Wildlife is prolific, mostly the friendly sort however visitors should be mindful to avoid unwelcome encounters, and any small children or pets kept under close watch. Your host can address questions or concerns.
The property is not a park, playground, or big backyard, in fact probably not much like anyplace you've been...prepare for a novel experience! Come as a guest, not a customer, and find yourself at home in the wild. Activity and development on site are minimized to enhance natural habitat and ambience. Guests are advised to minimize disturbance of other occupants and lifeforms--it's fine to have fun and make some intermittent noise but disruptive or damaging behavior will be curtailed. Non-disruptive youth visitors welcome with reasonable supervision. This location is not set up (yet) for people with mobility challenges, or people with no prior wilderness camping experience. Small to medium size (5-15p) groups may combine sites and enjoy some shared space and amenities, please inquire.

Tucked into 70 private acres in the mountains of Southern Oregon’s Illinois Valley, Whisper Canyon Ranch feels like a hidden world of meadows, forest trails, and starry nights. We’re just 4 miles from Selma—easy to reach, yet surrounded by BLM land and pure wilderness. Guests are close to some of the region’s favorite natural gems: Lake Selmac (1 mile), the Illinois River (5 miles), Oregon Caves (45 min), and the Redwoods (1 hour).
Whisper Canyon is a wedding & event venue first and foremost, which means the land has been thoughtfully developed for beauty, comfort, and gatherings.
Outside of our private events, we welcome a unique community of travelers into this enchanted forest. Cabin guests, tent campers, van life nomads, and glampers are all welcome here.
We can host up to 34 overnight guests in our cabins and larger private groups on select weekends using our main event spaces like the Pavilion and the Cosmic Café. Keep in mind that because we host weddings, the noise curfew on the weekends is midnight.

🕊 The Bird’s Nest — Our wellness space offers yoga, breathwork, and wellness classes throughout the week + bookable for private events, ceremonies, circles, etc.
🌾 Gardens & Meadows — Wander through veggie, flower & herb gardens, wide open meadows, and forest trails. There’s magic tucked into every corner.
🚿 Outdoor Cedar Showers — Two private, open-air cedar showers
💻 Cosmic Café — Co-working + game room when not booked for events (usually Mon–Thu in summer). Includes billiards, ping pong, TV, WiFi, cozy couches, and outdoor patios.
🥏 Putt-Putt Disc Golf — A fun little course tucked in the trees

Weekend Trip to Trillium Wilderness Retreat
We stayed at Maple Grove and it was perfect! The bath tub has plenty of hot water, there are beautiful hikes close by, and the cabin in the perfect little getaway!

Friendly Hosts who greeted me even when I arrived a little late. Bathrooms were clean and showers were warm. Cabin 1 could hold 4 though I came solo. Heater in the cabin kept the place warm. It was nice having a roof over my head given it was storming outside.

What a beautiful and cozy spot!! Kit was very accommodating and friendly. The cabin was warm, the fire pit was perfect. I was just bummed the outside bathtub wasn't functional at that time, but all in all a great spot and I highly recommend.

As a solo female traveler, being able to camp on a budget somewhere where I feel totally safe is HUGE. It was great to stay on a family farm in an area that’s not too remote. I “glamped” in one of their platform tents. It was cold overnight and it was awesome that the tent had a heater. There was also WiFi, a clean & bright, fully enclosed shower space, and a clean composting toilet. I fed the animals with Lara which was hilarious and joyful — so glad I opted for that. The farmstand is the best!! Too late in the season for fresh veg but I stocked up on homemade preserves and Lara’s cookies! 10/10

I loved this place! Partly the location and partly the very nice people there.
About the location: it's not for everyone,; it is a bit of a drive including 5 miles on a scrabble road that is fine. But you get out and away from everyone and into a beautiful spot with a great view. It’s also rather rustic that I like that soon they will have a bath house and it’ll be different.
There’s an example of how they were nice to me: I am 72 years old and have some mobility issues. they were very cognizant of it and helped me get around a little bit. That was very sweet.
I would come back every year if I could.

We had a nice stay. We had a lot of room for our tent and it was nice to have an outside kitchen. We tought the fridge could have been a bit cleaner.
The toilet was nice and well taken care off.
We orderded the chacuterie and we really loved it. Lara was quick with responding and was friendly. We also really liked to say hi to the animals, who could be a little bit noisy in the morning. Nothing to bad but if youre a light sleeper like me bring earplugs.
