Escape to the forest any time of the year! We provide a completely private luxury cabin overlooking the Rogue River in Southern Oregon. Surrounded by some of the best fishing, rafting, hiking, and adventures the PNW has to offer. The cabin is the perfect romantic getaway, staycation, or retreat. The site includes outdoor shower, outdoor kitchen, wood fire pit, outdoor deck and seating, hiking trails, and much more.
This space has a private, cozy feel to it. The cabin consists of a queen-sized bed, memory foam mattress with luxury hotel quality linens, folding table and chairs, Yeti cooler stocked with ice, and outdoor lounge seating.
The cabin also comes equipped with the essentials such as, wool blankets, plush towels, kitchen basics, board games, his and her robes, folding table and chairs, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and firewood (in season).
The composting restroom has a toilet and motion sensor lighting. On the outside of the restroom is the sink with hot and cold running water. As you continue along the stone path to the outdoor shower, you'll find a rainfall shower head as well as all the products you need, not to mention the most incredible views of the river!
Our outdoor cookshack comes with a grill, bar sink, trash, and basic cooking and eating utensils. This space also has views of the river and large FarmStyle table and chairs for dining.
The site is equipped with motion sensor path lighting around the tent and also the along the path leading from the parking area to the cabin.
Everything is crafted for relaxation and quality time with your friends or loved one. Take a nap in a hammock, play Jenga on the deck, read a book, or take a hike. There is something here for everyone, any time of year.

The entire property (10 acers) is for your use. The driveway is gated with use of a keypad for entry.

There is over 100 acres of BLM land adjoining our property on two sides with miles of trails to explore. Breathtaking river views abound.

Our property has been in business in one way or another for over 70 years. The stick built cabins are pre 1950's and no one really knows for sure how old they truly are. We are located on Fort Creek named after the creek that ran through Fort Klamath. Fort Creek is a beautiful 30' wide meandering creek that runs the length of the property north to south. We offer free use of our Old Town Canoes to paddle along it's extent and on up creek to a beaver damn. There is a fun hiking trail that runs over two bridges that span the creek, one covered and one floating. We also offer free catch and release fishing, there are Rainbow and Brown Trout in our waters.
Fort Klamath is the birthplace and home of the US Army 1st Cavalry and our property is located on the the Forts Southeastern grounds. We are 9 miles from the southern border of the National Park and 23 miles from the southern Rim and Rim Village.

Beautiful property close to Crater Lake National Park. The Wood River runs through it. The 28 acres is mostly undeveloped, but there are a few houses and a restroom outbuilding. Bring your kids, bring your dogs; enjoy the beautiful setting. We have a few kayaks, or there are rental kayaks available nearby.
NOTE: Please be aware that the mosquitos can be very bad here at times.
Power has recently been going out more frequently due to the Pacific Power's "advanced safety settings". When the power is out the well pump is out, so there is no water. I am happy to provide buckets of river water for "flushing toilets" and pay for showers at the Klamoya Travel Center. I will not be giving refunds for a situation over which I have no control.

Travel 2 hours one way and see Crater Lake, or 2 hours the other and visit the Oregon Coast! And a seemingly endless amount of hiking, fishing, waterfalls, swimming holes and rivers everywhere in between.
This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY campsite. We are a family ourselves and love hosting other families with children.
That being said, Camp Kool is an alcohol and cigarette free zone.

All the perks of camping without the fuss! Cozy bed. Even had some kitchen wares to use. Bathrooms and shower were clean and warmed with space heater, and had warm water. Beautiful views and close to crater lake. If you like camping this is a perfect lil spot.

Let me start off by saying we loved our stay! It was peaceful and quiet, warm and cozy, and we had everything we needed. Our hosts had thought of so many details that made our stay such a pleasant experience and what we were hoping for. Fire pit with some wood, hotwater for awesome outdoor shower,coffee and basic kitchen needs, but also wonderful little details like robes for the shower, a simple map of the two trails we could walk and ice in the ice chest. Great hosts. Power went out once and they promptly got it fixed. Our only struggle was that it rained while we were there and we didn't get to spend as much time outside as we were hoping. The kitchen table didn't have a cover over it and so we couldn't use it while raining, (bringing a canopy for the rain would have been nice.) But we still had a nice dry and warm time in the cabin area. Excellent stay, will stay here again!

The tent and bathrooms were spotless - possibly the cleanest hip camp I’ve stayed at yet! Beautiful and convenient location, thoughtful camp set up, and easy check-in / check-out. Having hot water in the bathrooms was really nice; Tracy also provided a small propane heater for the tent and there’s a very warm comforter on the bed. Would have loved to stay longer!

What a beautiful private location. If you have dogs and don’t want to leash them this is the perfect spot. It’s a cute little romantic cabin with a view of the river. The pellet stove was perfect for the crisp fall mornings and the hammock and lounge chairs were a nice surprise to enjoy the afternoons. We had everything we needed and the outdoor shower was a wonderful experience. I’d love to come back another weekend to this amazing place.

This place was fantastic! Beautiful spot with very friendly, helpful host. The tent had everything we needed and more. Comfy bed, dishes, pots, pans, utensils, dishwashing gear, bath towels, and even a camp stove with fuel. The owners brought firewood and drove their kayaks up the road for us to paddle back to camp. Delightful!

Very peaceful, private spot with lots of of birds and nature to explore. Everything has been built beautifully and sustainably from what it looks like. Ideal for a retreat, we would definitely come back.
For accessibility- the parking is on hill and a small wagon was provided :) be prepared for bees too, they are on the hunt for protein.

Weekend Trip to Myrtle's Place
We enjoyed our stay at Tracy’s land. There were a few other campsites on the property but everything was spread out well and we had our own space. Bathrooms were very clean. Our site had everything we needed. Small propane camping stove, fire pit, cooking utensils, plates, bowls, silverware, lanterns, bed with bedding. Only about 30 min south of crater lake. Would stay at Myrtle’s place again!

This is a beautiful, quiet spot close to Crater Lake National Park. The bathrooms are clean, and we had access to everything we needed. There are mosquitoes and flies, but we came prepared and just ate our meals in our camper. We will keep this in mind for our next trip to this area.

This place is heaven on earth. Even better than you could expect of a "glamping" site. We were beyond comfortable, and had everything we needed. The twinkle lights all over, the motion activated solar lights, the amazing woodworking and decorations... There's too many good things to list. Just book it (but look out for poison oak)! 😊

My partner and I and our dog loved staying in the big tent here! Directions were clear and we found our way easily. It is tucked away off of a low traffic road, and it was all nature (and cow) sounds. Other sites are within view, but there's plenty of space. The site had everything we would have wanted: towels, many small tables and chairs, a small picnic table, a small propane grill, bbq, and fire pit, as well as a number of cooking and dining supplies. The bed was comfy and plenty of pillows and blankets were provided. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked, including shower soaps, and the water heats up quickly. Tracy was very helpful with questions. I would definitely stay here again!
