The camping sites are back in only, so if you have trouble backing in, I am happy to help. Each spot has a fire pit with first firewood supplied, (additional be purchased) and a picnic table. Surrounding area is sagebrush, 2 miles from Wallowa National Forest with miles and miles of wilderness trails, lakes and Mountain fishing, ATVs, hiking, biking. You can ride your ATVs right from the camp. There is huckleberry and mushroom picking in early summer and late spring. Local wildlife consists of deer, elk, eagles and owls, pheasants, quail, wild turkeys, all kinds of birds, (even an occasional farm chicken may wander by) and coyotes and frogs calling at night. My friendly labs like to come say hi. Campsites are for tents or RVs. Our electric is shared among the campsites. Our water is from a wonderful deep cold well that’s piped to a shared outlet in the middle of the RV camp. Bring a hose to hook up, we have one if you need one. Guest Wi-Fi if you’re close to the store. Cell service is limited. I do allow generators if you are not sharing the park with anyone else. If you’re the only ones, no quiet time, if others are camping, quiet time is from 10:00 pm - 7:00 am.
Site 1: largest fire pit, close to the power hook up, the most shady spot but still sunny, closest to the park.
Site 2: A bit of shade, most of the day in sun. Closest to water hook up.
Site 3: A Sunny site, a little late afternoon shade. A little more privacy as it’s the last spot. Farthest stretch for water and power, but I provide an extension power cord to it. Our little store has items you may need if you run out or forget something. We also sell regular gas.

Last Chance Getaway is a small eleven acre farm exceptionally situated in the gorgeous Walla Walla Valley. There are level access and pull through camp sites along the Burlingame Canal and the South fork of the Little Walla Walla river (a creek). Enjoy nature here on the Old Oregon trail in the form of beaver ponds, coyote song, deer trails, bird watching and star gazing - just a half mile from the historic Whitman Mission.

Mountain Site and Garden site are both situated along the Burlingame Canal, a historic waterway and engineering marvel worth googling. Both have an unobstructed east facing view of farmland and the Blue Mountains - perfect for full moons and sunrises. These two sites are generally in the shade around dinner time. My pups and I had the absolute best stay at this peaceful farm retreat. The views were spectacular, the grounds were spotless and beautifully kept, and the host was incredibly gracious and welcoming. It was perfect for our RV van and so dog friendly too! We especially loved the quiet dirt road walks along the creek under the big shade trees, winding through the wheat and onion fields. Being within walking distance to a lovely winery made it even better. Such a relaxing, beautiful place to unwind — we can’t wait to come back!

This site is great for boon-docking on solar power, while enjoying great views of the Wallowa Mountains and surrounding farm/ranch land in relative privacy. Graveled Tucker Down Road runs on the west side of the sites, separated by a small creek, deciduous trees, and wild shrubs & flowers. The road gets a fair amount of ranch and farm traffic, but the trees do knock down most of the dust. While the site is flat, be ready for ann uneven surface with lots of tall grass, clover, & thistles. We were happy to be able to light our Howl propane fire pit for an evening under the stars. The site location is convenient with a short 5 minute drive to Joseph and just a 15 minute drive to Wallowa Lake & the Tramway. I can understand comments about the $75 per night being steep since there are no hookups but for us it was worth it.

Tranquility is absolutely the perfect description of Philip’s property. Beautiful surroundings, very quiet, and close to many amazing wineries. There was plenty of space for our 45 foot toy hauler, and the pups loved hanging out with Oso, the gentle giant. Jack Daniels the pig is very friendly and loves treats! the goats curious and friendly as well as the cats. The breads we ordered were delivered hot from the oven and tasted delicious. We also got to pick fresh raspberries from her garden for breakfast. Would definitely stay again if we are ever back in the area.

Jan was a great host and greeted us with a beautiful homebaked cinnamon/raisin bread, and introduced us to the farm's animals and the peaceful grounds. It was a quiet and beautiful place to pitch our tent and launch our backpacking trip into Eagle Cap Wilderness. We'll be back!

Absolutely, we recommend staying at Phil and Oso's hipcamp! My husband and I arrived during onion harvest time, we were invited to help ourselves to as many onions as we could carry...delicious! Phil was very welcoming and Oso is protective yet very friendly!
The site is private, accommodating, and has a beautiful view. We look forward to visiting Phil again someday!

Amazing farm In Cove, Oregon! Janet was very welcoming and showed us around their farm. Great stay for the night on our road trip. We have stayed here multiple times on our roadtrips. Highly recommend!
