Sheep!!!!!! :)
This is our second visit and we will certainly be back. Terry and her dogs make you feel at home right away, from the moment you pull in and Ellie the collie escorts you down the lane. The setting is beautiful, with a sky full of stars at night and colorful sunsets and sunrises. If helping to herd sheep around sounds like fun to you, you’ll love it. Be sure to get some of her sheep cheese or lamb sausage! Thank you Terry!

I enjoyed my time staying on Terry's beautiful property - wonderful conversations, lovely animals (the guinea fowl and the hummingbird moths were a particular favorite), and an overall very serene place to rest for the night. Terry was hospitable and communicative throughout! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Terry… the teacher!
Terry is a natural born teacher… was so wonderful with our 3 grandkids as they found the bones from a dead sheep and Terry explained all the bones & the stomach that was there too. She was great at teaching the milking process that the kids were then involved doing. The kids explored the land, herded the ducks and sheep and held the ducks, chickens, and kittens plus loved on the dogs. What a great adventure and learning experience for the kids and grandparents too.

Enjoyable place to be
Beautiful location and kind host. Flynn (my dog) and I enjoyed walking around as well as visiting with Terri and her farm. Just a heads up that this farm is really out in the country but to me it was well worth the drive as it’s a gorgeous place to stay.

Terry’s farm was an incredible place to camp for the night. Between her, the guard dogs, sheep, lambs, ducks, and kittens - there’s no shortage of good company. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

Camping with animals!
This was our first Hipcamp experience and it didn't disappoint. Terri and her crew were so welcoming and our family joined in milking the sheep and other farm activities. We camped with curious cows and kittens under the stars, far away from other campers! It was such a unique and amazing experience that I would recommend to anyone. My kids want to come back again and again.

Great host, great spot!
Terry is absolutely lovely and Tin Willows is a beautiful spot! Very peaceful and the stars are GORGEOUS. The animals are all around but do not encroach and are very well cared for. Terry offered us coffee in the morning and let us sample her products (sheep cheese, yogurt, milk and cheese spread). All delicious. We will be back!

Sheep dairy delight!
We couldn’t have had a better experience staying with Terry and all of her farm animals. Terry was more than accommodating and even taught us a thing or two about milking sheep! The property is absolutely gorgeous with bustling activity (kittens!) and plenty of space to camp. Staying on Terry's farm was a fun and grounding experience. We sat down to a cup of coffee in the morning, sampled her fresh sheeps milk yogurt, and engaged in excellent conversation. The sausage was excellent as well! Thank you Terry, we couldn’t recommend your hipcamp enough!

A genuine working farm experience!
Our family had a wonderful stay at Tin Willow farm. It is a real working farm, but Terry was more than happy to take time to show us how everything worked and let us participate in milking, twice. It will certainly be a highlight of our road trip. The farm itself is huge, covering the valley bottom and the surrounding hills. We spent a lot of time with the kittens, sheep, ducks, and other animals. There is plenty of space to choose a camping area, and we picked a spot near the creek where we heard all sorts of birds and even saw a pheasant and an owl fly over our camp in the evening. It is very quiet and peaceful at night with only the occasional sounds of animals. Definitely would come back.

Camping with Animals
We loved our experience camping at Terry’s. There are lots of options for sites, awesome views, quiet setting, and animals! Plus we had a great time hanging out with Terry (and Wayne) over morning coffee and sheep yogurt. We hated to leave and hope to return!

Wonderful host, wonderful animals!
I could not recommend this campsite more highly. My toddler and I had such an amazing time. He was in love with the trucks and tractors and I was in love with the myriad animals. Sheep, chickens, ducks, kittens, dogs, guinea fowl - you name it! They were all so cute and friendly. The farm itself was beautiful and well maintained. We stayed in the lamb pasture and had a ton of fun playing with them. There was a clean outhouse for us to use and hot water. We got to milk some sheep, search for duck eggs, and take home some really delicious yogurt, eggs, and cheese. Above all, Terry was an incredibly welcoming host. She was so generous with her time and was really kind to me and my son. She is so inspiring! She built her own dang home from reclaimed materials and has designed such a cute farm. We will definitely be back, but this time with my husband so he can see how cool it is for himself. Please please take the opportunity to visit! We were in heaven and would have paid much more for the experience.

SHEEP!!
I had so much fun camping with the sheep, my mom and dog got to come along for the trip and I cannot even begin to describe the adventure and unique experiences that I had with them here! I loved hiking up the little hills for a view of the whole farm and being invited to watch the sheep milking morning and evening. The lambs were just as judge as I had hoped and even though Terry was out we could tell her hospitable nature could also be found in the farm hands! Thank you all so much!

Terry is a wonderful host and teacher. She gave me the tour of her farm, taught me how to help milk her sheep, and discussed the general workings of a small farm. (Ask her about her background!) I got to hang out with her pups, chickens, cows, ducks, and of course, sheep. Not to mention, the duck eggs with lamb sausage was a perfect breakfast. If you get a chance, stay with Terry.

We loved van camping on Terry’s land! The long driveway is marked from the road by a flag and sign for Tin Willows. We were met at the gate by Terry and her crew of farm animals - a very warm welcome! Terry gave us the lay of the land and showed us to our site. Be sure to take advantage of the add ons that she offers on her land!!! We bought firewood, lamb sausage, eggs and duck - everything exceeded expectations. This was our first HipCamp experience and it definitely set a high standard for the rest of our trip. Thanks Terry!

Kids loved it!
We spent one night at Terri's hipcamp. The kids (ages 2 to 6) absolutely loved it. They got multiple chances to play with the lambs and collect guinnea fowl feathers, watch the sheep milking and feed the sheep. It was the highlight of our week-long road trip for them. Terri was a great host, and we hope to visit again next year.

One of a Kind Experience!
Tin Willows far exceeded our expectations. Terry was incredibly welcoming and included us, particularly my seven year old, in all of the farm activities from herding, milking and even checking to see if any baby lambs had been born during the night. He loved being given these responsibilities. It was like a dream come true to us city folk to park our van in the middle of a field of sheep and get to hold and feed a baby lamb just hours old. We also appreciated that it was dog friendly (with a leash) so that we were able to make the visit with all of our family members in tow. Would definitely love to return someday. Thank you Terry!

Tin Willows Milk a Sheep Camp
This was our third visit to Tin Willows. We love being able to get away and kick back and relax. The baby lambs are always so much fun to see, but we love pitching in as much as possible: milking and feeding sheep, wrangling lambs. Our daughter also loves the dog’s and cows. A great place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
