Otherwise it is a private and secluded area. Because I live on site, I will not allow repeat visits if groups become rowdy or disrespectful. -There is ELECTRICITY and WATER on site for 1 RV. The electricity is through a standard household outlet so an adaptor will be necessary, and possibly an extension cord, depending on where you choose to set up. An outhouse with a composting TOILET and sink are available, but no shower. However, in winter months, the sink will be turned off to protect pipes. Water is still available from an in ground frost free spigot. -There is a FIREPIT for evening musing, don't forget your marshmallows. Firewood is available on site for $10/night with an unlimited supply (or free if you want to gather downed limbs). - There is an old hay wagon converted into a covered picnic area that I call the COWZEBO for use in bad weather. GeerCrest Farm was settled by the Geer family in 1848, and is still owned and stewarded by the family. The house Ralph and Mary Geer built in 1851 stands and is one of the oldest in Oregon to remain in the same family. Our peaceful, small farm offers a reflective immersion in nature and history among the occasional quacking of ducks and baaas of sheep. The scenery from all corners of the farm is incredible - a favorite is the westward view of the valley pasture at sunset -- called "Homer's View" after famous political cartoonist and Geer descendant, Homer Davenport. No matter which camping site you choose, the sounds of the creek, pond frogs, or conversing owls are sure to lull you to sleep. Feel free to roam the farm, but always leave gates as you find them, open or closed. Please say hello to our sheep and barn cats (they may say hello first). Explore the Heritage Grove of historic trees, the Memorial apple orchard and pear glade with varieties circa 1840s, indulge your senses in our medicinal herb garden, and chat with our farm family while they water the veggie gardens, if you so wish! The north side contains a field, small orchard, greenhouses and barn. The south side is steep and wooded with healthy riparian. An extension to the Honey Grove trail leads out of the property accessing a user maintained hiking/mountain biking trail with 1.5, 3, 5 and 7 mile loop options. The property also contains a host residence. The area around the residence is for the hosts. The cabin and the property are very quaint and inviting but also very rustic. Do not be surprised to see a few or many spiders, slugs and other bugs. There are occasional bunnies, wild turkeys, Garter Snakes by the ponds and newts on the trails. Please maintain good situational awareness when enjoying the property as structures and grounds may have some inherent hazards. The barn is off limits. We always enjoy staying at Jared and Stephanie's place. I've reviewed it positively many times. We've made it one of our go-to stops for overnighting along this stretch of the I-5 freeway. The RV pad has full hookups and is large enough for our longer rig- we are sometimes 36 feet with our cargo trailer on. The view from the hillside is beautiful and it's very peaceful at night. Jered is a good communicator and will make sure you have whatever you need. Don't hesitate to stay here!

This hilltop retreat was perfect and exactly what we needed. Private, peaceful and all the beautiful scenes and weather we love to watch and witness. Layers of fog in the morning, views of clouds on the distant mountains, sounds of frogs and whistling wind, mix of sun and rain. For us was just perfect. The retreat itself was more than amble space for our 33’ RV, full hookups, our dogs loved it and the hosts Jared and Stephane were kind, responsive and very gracious. They truly made sure our stay was wonderful. I highly recommend staying and know we will be back again!

This place is exactly what we were looking for. Beautifully maintained grounds to give you just the right blend of nature and cozy accommodations. Trent and Robin were great and super helpful. This was definitely our 2 dogs favorite place to fancy camp… and will absolutely be back! Ps the wood fired hot tub was a dreeeeam!

We arrived a little earlier than the check-in time, but the host greeted us warmly. Compared to other unoccupied sites, I noticed he had laid down straw to help keep away the dirt on the ground. We also loved the string light. Thank you for the attention to detail!

Beautiful views! Well priced! Easy to get to! Easy to maneuver! Great and helpful host! Level and well appointed spot! Private and plenty of space to yourself! It was really nice and one of our favorite spots so far to stay on Hipcamp. We really enjoyed our stay. The town and area are very pleasant too! Don't hesitate to try it out!

My husband and I loved staying at Trent's cabin! We were looking for a quiet, romantic getaway where we could take long walks in the woods and relax in a comfortable cabin at night. The wood stove hot tub was amazing. Trent was a great host and was very attentive to our needs while also making sure we had all the privacy that we could want. I would stay here again anytime!

What a beautiful camping experience! Ripple 4 had a very large and flat plot of land, very important for bigger tents and tarps. You can’t beat the proximity and sounds of the river right next to you!! Also, the add ons were amazing! We got WiFi, a hot shower, hay to lay on the ground. Portapotty was exceptionally clean. we stayed here on our way up and back to Bremerton, so this review is supplemental to my earlier one. As before, this is a great place to stay with all the hook ups and a nice view out over the hillside. Jered is a really easy-going host and again went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. I'm sure we'll stop back by on our next trip as this site is easy to get to being just a few short miles off of I-5. It's peaceful and quiet at night and well worth the quick jaunt off the freeway to get a good nights sleep.

The Hosts are always kind and considerate, going out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The place looks great as they continue to make improvements all around. All amenities for RV hook ups are available and it's a beautiful hillside overlook from the pad.. Easy to get to from I-5 but feels like you're out in the country and very peaceful. We will be back.
