Crater Lake Resort

Our property has been in business in one way or another for over 70 years. The stick built cabins are pre 1950's and no one really knows for sure how old they truly are. We are located on Fort Creek named after the creek that ran through Fort Klamath. Fort Creek is a beautiful 30' wide meandering creek that runs the length of the property north to south. We offer free use of our Old Town Canoes to paddle along it's extent and on up creek to a beaver damn. There is a fun hiking trail that runs over two bridges that span the creek, one covered and one floating. We also offer free catch and release fishing, there are Rainbow and Brown Trout in our waters.

Fort Klamath is the birthplace and home of the US Army 1st Cavalry and our property is located on the the Forts Southeastern grounds. We are 9 miles from the southern border of the National Park and 23 miles from the southern Rim and Rim Village.

Lake Shore Drive Retreat

Hi campers! I have a nice level elevated lot (.54 acres) across the street from Klamath Lake with panoramic views of the lake, green pastures and the mountains beyond. It is ideal for short or long-term tent or RV camping and is accessible via a gravel driveway from Lake Shore Drive. It is close to Moore Park, hiking and biking trails, boat launches, hunting, fishing, swimming, tennis courts, shopping, restaurants etc. It is a nice getaway spot, or a stopover on the way to Crater Lake, Bend etc. Contract me and I can give you more details if desired. Please note that this property is for sale and will soon have a tiny home parked on it. The home is a "model" to show prospective buyers affordable home options that are available to them and can be purchased with the property. It is not included for use with any camping reservations.

Owl Creek Cabin Mountain Getaway

Owl Creek Cabin is in the Cascade Mountains above Ashland, Oregon. The cabin is in a Douglas Fir grove, next to a seasonal creek, on five forested acres, and adjacent to BLM lands that are open for hiking.  It features a firepit with Adirondack chairs and an outdoor clawfoot tub for a private soak.

You’ll be greeted when you arrive and briefly introduced to some of the cabin's unique features, including attic stairs to the windowed sleeping loft. Downstairs is a sofa and sofabed. The coffee cart kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, toaster oven, and microwave. An outdoor gas grill with skillet and saucepan and picnic table allow for outdoor dining.  Dishes, linens, and bedding are provided. WiFi speed is suitable for basic use. Mobile phones connect through WiFi. The cabin is non-smoking. Children 8 and up are welcome.  

Recreational areas with miles of trails including the Pacific Crest Trail, are nearby plus lakes that offer fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and hiking trails.  
A 20-minute drive will take you to Lake of the Woods where you can dine, hike, and kayak. Crater Lake National Park is 50 miles away.

Heartline Ranch and Tipi Village

Stay in one of  our Native American Tipis, nestled into the forest next to the Winema National Forest. We have miles of hiking trails, and lots of wildlife in the way of birds, bunnys, chipmonks and the occasional deer and elk, and are across from the Pelican Butte mountains. Experience what few get to know- what it's like to be in a real Native American Tipi. Come experience the outdoors as Natives have lived. This isn't any airconditioned motel room- this is the real deal. Owners are Native American. An experience of a lifetime. Questions will be answered, info. available. Also a art gallery of their artwork is on site in the office. Come and enjoy!

Their ranch, Heartline Ranch & Tipi Village is on Crater Lake Highway (Hwy 62) just 26 miles down from Crater Lake. They have designated 15 acres for a primitive Campgrounds and Tipi village sites. September of 2020 we were sadly effected by the Wildfire- TwoFourTwo which took 5 of our 6 tipis. We have been able to clean up, regrow and make ready for camping guests. We once again have 6 tipis, all beautiful, and in addition, 6 new camping sites for people with their own tents. Sorry, NO rv's (vans are allowed.) Its wonderful to see all the beautiful regrowth, and to see that most of our trees have regenerated. It is now once again a beautiful place to be.

      It is their love for this land and a desire to share the beauty and Native experience with others to led them to open up these campgrounds. There is 15 acres in the immediate campgrounds &  6 tipi sites and 6 camping sites for folks with their own tents, so LOTS of privacy. Our ranch has 250 acres of land, great hiking trails that you will have access to for hiking, next to the Winema National Forest, and connected to the Pacific Crest Trail.

 You will have space to enjoy this beauty. The owner's horses are rescue horses and are their own private property. Please do NOT feed them or go up to them without the owners being there. Horses have delicate stomachs. Our gentle giants are mellow but very big so please stay OUT of their pasture. You may help us during their feeding time, if you ask owners.

River Pines


I have two acres of land separate from my home, pretty much untouched, ideal for tent camping. On the two acres, there's a Porta-Potty available, and all tent campers will be provided with hand sanitizer and a bottle of water. The river is within walking distance, easily accessible off the main road, just about two car lengths away, off Sunna Ln.

Additionally, I have a gravel driveway, mostly level, with room for one RV on the main driveway off Sprague River Road. This spot offers a river view and access for kayaking, fishing, and swimming. It's approximately 5 miles to the town of Chiloquin, about 35 miles from Crater Lake, roughly 12 miles from Collier Park Museum (a logging museum), and around 32 miles to Klamath Falls. I live where the tall pines grow. Please note that this property is a dead zone for cell phones. Happy Travels!

Oregon for Everyone

Come and set up camp below your own private Butte, steps away from the Fremont Winema National Forest. 

 Small but mighty butte offers panoramic views of the Sprague River Valley.  7 acres of gently sloping terrain with grassland, rabbitbrush, manzanita, gooseberries, juniper, and bitter crab apples, bordering Fremont Winema National Forest. Site is well suited to meditation, hiking, leave no trace camping, orienteering, geocaching, stargazing. Good base camp during hunting season. Highly recommended for folks thinking of moving to the area.  Off grid paradise! 

The feel of this land varies based on your view. On the lower east side by the road you will be able to see the neighbor and his off grid solar setup. On the west side you see national forest property, and your view of neighbor and road will be blocked by the Butte. Hike up to the lower Butte or climb to the upper Butte to see lovely views of the Sprague River Valley, which includes farms, forest and neighboring parcels.

This place is a paradise for hunters, hikers or just for somebody who wants just to get out from the city to quiet place. Bring your ATV's, bikes and have fun. Our campsite is a great place to relax with friends or the whole family!
Campsite has everything you need for a comfortable stay: Fire pit, Electricity, Refrigerator, Hot shower, outside compost toilet, kitchen sink, barbecue, room for up to 6 tents or a small motor home.
Property has access to thousands of acres of land lock BLM . You can hunt Deer, Bear, Elk, Turkey, Quail ...

Keep in mind that in freezing temperature you will not have water in the sink and outdoor shower.

The Snug Shack, built from many reused and hand-milled wood materials. 

Oak Ring Ridge

We originally purchased the 20 acres of untouched land and built our cabin, the "Snug Shack," as a getaway from the city. Fast forward a few years, and 40 acres next door with an abandoned house on the canyon ridge went up for sale. We decided to purchase it and start a homestead there. That 40 acres where we now live was badly abused, and we have been in the process of cleaning up and restoring it. Fortunate for you, the land surrounding the Snug Shack was never abused and is still pristine and beautiful. By camping at the Snug Shack, you help support us in our mission to restore this beautiful place.We named our homestead after the rings of small oak trees that grow here on the ridge.: "Oak Ring Ridge." The footprint of the Snug Shack is 120 square feet. There is enough room downstairs on the floor for an air mattress or camping mat, or a roll-away folding bed is available for an additional rental fee. 

Enjoy beautiful views from your bed in the sleeping loft. The mattress is a full size, bring your own bedding or sleeping bags.

Cedar Springs Village

**Only for those who are okay with a rough and rugged drive for an Alaskan style retreat only 25 miles from the Market Of Choice in Ashland, OR** 

Cedar Springs Village is ever improving and expanding as a gathering place and Natural Movement training facility/playground.  Tended by host and MovNat Lvl2 certified fitness trainer.  There are also family activities such as a toddler friendly bike pump track, small sandbox, tire swing, well used trails and roads to hike or mountain bike around the property.  There is a growing communal outdoor kitchen with a standard four burner stovetop and oven.

Immerse yourself in the wild beauty of the mountains. Pitch a tent in one of the numerous locations on this secluded and diverse 120 acres. Here you will be amongst a thick forest of cedar, pine and fir; oak groves, rolling hills, babbling creeks, spring-fed ponds, meadows and spectacular views of majestic Mt. Shasta. If you are a plant enthusiast, bird-watcher or nature lover, or even a rockhound, this area will be a dream come true. The terrain is hilly but old logging roads provide nice hiking paths along with hundreds of animal paths for the able bodied. Near the owners cabin and main camp area there is an outdoor kitchen, tapped spring to collect water, fire pit and a compost outhouse.  It is important to note that there is no poison oak or poison ivy around the area.  It is a wonderful place to really explore.  

Just 15.4 miles east of Ashland on highway 66 then 9 miles on a slow dirt road.  The drive is absolutely part of the experience, slow down and enjoy the views. As you drive up hwy 66 the views of the valley below are absolutely incredible, then you come to the dirt road.  This is a very slow drive due to the condition of the road, it is part of the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument and poorly maintained.

**Important** The last section of road to get to this pristine and secluded forest location is a 9 mile dirt road with bumps, rocks, and a many washouts that bring you to a near stand still. 4 wheel drive is strongly recommended. Low clearance cars not recommended.

Willowdale Ranch

We are in the shadow of Mt. McLoughlin in the high Sierra of the Cascades. Our Ranch was part of the original 1800's Oregon land grant. We have our own fresh water springs..cool nights with 1 million stars. No lights touch our prairie. Lake of the Woods is 10 minutes away but we are on Howard lake and just down the road from Hyatt Lake and The Cove Restaurant. Best hamburgers, pizzas,  Vegetarian food to be had. Our riding pastures back up to Lilly Glenn Equestrian Park. Our barn is equipped to board up to 8 horses.. We are a Ranch in rehabbing mode but are ready for campers who can come and share our vision. Hopefully start a tradition.. Our unspoiled pastures are here for arrowhead searches, mushroom hunting, wildlife viewing, horsebackriding, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and hiking.

Our 40 acre hilltop property overlooks Emigrant Lake, and has great views of the surrounding scenery, including Mount Ashland and Pilot Rock.   Situated just 9 miles from downtown Ashland, an easy and scenic 20 minute drive gets you to everything the town has to offer including the renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Lithia Park, mountain bike and hiking trails, great restaurants, art galleries, and live music.  Several wineries are also within a 10 minute drive.  We are just adjacent to Emigrant Lake for kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, and fishing.  Heading farther east, Hwy 66 climbs up into the Greensprings area with more opportunities to explore hiking trails and mountain lakes.  Crater Lake National Park is 60 miles away, and makes a great day trip.

Soda Spring Community

This 200 acre property is located within the Cascade Siskiyou National Monument, a land bridge where two mountain ranges meet, creating immense biodiversity and natural beauty.  Soda Spring is a bourgeoning community tended land located on the ceded territories of the Shasta, Takilma, Latgawa and Klamath peoples, just 10 minutes from the south end of Ashland, Oregon.  The property is primarily oak savannah and pastureland, with adjacent fir/pine and madrone/manzanita forests and hillsides.  The land sits in a valley where both Soda Creek and Carter Creek enter in to Emigrant Creek as it flows onward to Emigrant Lake, just a mile away.  The land is being stewarded by a small group of humans and large community of wildlife and insects.  Together we are slowly creating something special... including community event and classroom spaces, gardens, orchards, holistically managed ranch lands, campgrounds and wild places.
Currently there is one vintage trailer available.  By next spring there will be additional camping sites and RV sites also available.
