Our location gets ample sunshine most days and is surrounded on 3 sides by a forest of trees. The property is fenced and access is by gate. There are two seperate campsites which are separated by our central garden and bamboo plantings. There is very little street traffic before 9 AM and after 4 PM Mon-Sat. Sundays are quiet. Both sites can use the portable toilet and outdoor shower. We keep it clean and odor free for a sanitary camping experience. Bring your bikes, boards and outdoor gear! Many adventures to be had here on the central coast. Your hosts are avid surfers and cyclists and can help direct you to the best spots to match your skill level. The property is close to town as well as bike loops, gravel roads and trails. We're also close to the beach. Within a short drive surfers of all levels can find something fun to ride nearly everyday of summer and fall. The 18 hole golf course is just down the street from the property and the town of Waldport is 2 miles away. Yachats is a short 12 minute drive to the south where you can find amazing restaurants where they serve fresh roasted coffee along with a large menu of drinks and treats at places such as The Green Salmon Cafe. White sand beaches are located just down the hill from us where you can walk all the way from the mouth of the Alsea river to the mouth of the Yachats river. Forested and easily accessible walking trails are also nearby. South of the property is Cape Perpetua - a natural wonderland with whales, tide pools, blowholes and a 26 mile trail system. Hurlys Hideaway is a very nice location located approximately 2 miles from the town of Tillamook. Very close to the beach Sand Lake various Rivers for fishing kayaking swimming Etc. Approximately 4 MI from Netarts Oceanside area, Netarts Bay, Cape Mears. A very nice location to be able to access all of these activities in Tillamook County. My land is Timber, some clearings, we'll see how this goes I'm just getting started. Also, I just learned that the transient tax for Tillamook Oregon is an additional 10% and I hate to do this but I'm going to have to raise my prices $5. If you are coming from Town, I'm 2 mi. from the hospital west on hwy. 131. Look for the purple Minnesota Vikings bus shack. I also put up a hipcamp sign just up my driveway a bit. If you are coming from the south on Fraiser road, turn right when you come to hwy. 131. I'm less than a quarter mile on your left. Also a heads up lately I've had a few people that are having a hard time booking and I learned from another camper if you're staying one night you actually have to select two days it includes the day you check out I just experienced that with another camper so just a bit information I don't know if hip camp changed something or what, but if you're staying one night select two days and it'll work.

Please maintain good situational awareness when enjoying the property as structures and grounds may have some inherent hazards. The barn is off limits. Bug spray. • NOISE: Sites are well spaced out, but sound does travel. Quiet hours are 10pm-6am. • SEASONAL FORAGING is encouraged. Berries are free range but please ask before foraging any mushrooms. • CELL SERVICE: Unlikely. • ABSOULETLY NO HUNTING. • CREEK: There is a seasonal creek. No easy access available. • DO NOT leave children unattended at any time. • NEARBY ACTIVITIES: Newport Historic Bayfront (~15mins). Oregon Coast Aquarium (~18 mins). Yaquina Head Lighthouse (~20 mins). Surfing (~18 mins)

Welcome to the Dope Creek Surf Camp; a rustic and peaceful camp spot within the beautiful Otter Rock community on the Oregon coast. This property at located on Avenue A in OR and consists of .5 acres of natural land within the Otter Rock coastal community. It is a quick 4min walk to the Otter Rock beach and a 3min walk to Otter Crest Beach and Devil's Punchbowl; perfect for a surf safari, early morning agate hunting, or those who just want to enjoy the quiet ambiance of Otter Rock. The property consists of a flat gravel parking area with room for 3 automobiles, tuck campers, or camper vans, along with 3x tents. Please see additional information and specifics regarding the property, below. IMPORTANT NOTES 1. Currently, there are no bathrooms on-site. For number one, let the nature be your guide. For number two, there are state park bathrooms located just before the stairs down to Otter Rock Beach. (This is only a 4 min walk away and open 24/7). **Nature poops anywhere on the property are strictly prohibited** 2. There is not running water or electricity on-site. Please plan accordingly. 3. Please keep noise to a minimum at all hours. Otter Rock is a small and tight-knit community built on respect, kindness, and a love for nature. We ask that you respect our amazing neighbors and the beauty of the area during the entirety of your stay. 4. No vans, campers, or RV's over 20ft. 5. There is a campfire ring on-site for guests use. No campfires outside the fire ring. Please keep fires to a responsible size and always use the spark stopper on top to mitigate rogue embers flying about. 6. There is no trash or recycling on site. If you pack it in, we ask that you pack it out.

1 night at Hurlys Hideaway

This is my most favorite Hipcamp, the setting was like a state park, the host was very welcoming. Sites vary between Forest camping and Orchard camping, I was in a big van so I took the Orchard. Incredible views and enjoyed walking around the land. Definitely will stay again when I’m in the area. Don’t be put off by the steep driveway, a UPS truck makes it up and down!

Great, private one night stay. Host Mark was super friendly. We really enjoyed talking to him. We walked the trails around our site with our dogs and hiss dog, Augie. Augie is also very friendly. Mark left us fire wood and offered us water in our tank which was so thoughtful. Would definitely stay again.

Weekend Trip to Hurlys Hideaway

Mark came over on the first night to chat and give us firewood and local recommendations like a byway close by that we checked out the next day. We were the only ones there on a rainy October weekend but the super friendly dog kept us company and chased away coyotes at night. The grounds are great, lots of great viewpoints, very conveniently located, clean toilets… the kids asked when we could come back!

3 nights at The Flying F Ranch Bunkhouse

Staying at the flying f ranch was so relaxing and refreshing. The cows did make their way up to the cabin and it was so cool getting to watch them. Brent and Tabitha showed us up to the cabin and were very nice, they were welcoming and had a beautiful property! Definitely get some steaks, eggs and ground beef!! They were delicious!! The porch sitting is awesome as well!

Carly’s property and yurt made for a perfect weekend getaway! Though just minutes from downtown, it was quiet, private, peaceful, and secluded. The space had everything we needed, including a functional toilet and shower. Along with the cozy vibe of the yurt, there were plenty of options for hiking trails and close to a vineyard for wine tasting. I highly recommend this property for a nice, cozy getaway.
