The north side contains a field, small orchard, greenhouses and barn. The south side is steep and wooded with healthy riparian. An extension to the Honey Grove trail leads out of the property accessing a user maintained hiking/mountain biking trail with 1.5, 3, 5 and 7 mile loop options. Other nearby activities include hiking and mountain biking in Mary's Peak and Alsea Falls recreational area. Access to the Alsea River is located 1.5 miles from the property on Honey Grove Road or at nearby Clemmons Park. The guest cabin has two rooms and can sleep (4) guests comfortably and up to (6) guests. It contains (2) queen size beds, and one pull out couch. One bed is in a loft accessed by a ship ladder. We are close to Mallard Creek golf course, Oregon Jamboree, excellent turkey hunting in the area, 30 minute drive to OSU, about 1 hour to University of Oregon. Great central location to explore the Willamette Valley. Kitchen has small refrigerator, coffee maker, griddle, hot plate, toaster, microwave and a gas grill outside. We do not have an oven or stove. We supply plates, cups, utensils, paper towels, etc. Bedding and towels also provided.

The Guest House on the Farm is such a lovely and cozy place to stay! We experienced a power outage for 15+ hours from the storm, but Kristin made us feel safe and at so at home. Having all of the candles lit up around the house made the place even cozier. We loved how spacious the farmhouse was and seeing the beautiful fall leaves outside of the big windows. We also loved the close proximity to Silverton - such a sweet town! Hoping to come back to this hidden gem again to enjoy the cedar hot tub!

These guys put the hip in #hipcamp. Jim was a wonderful and engaging host. We stayed in the caboose and the highlights were hanging out with the host and his friends, the sauna, and hot tub. If you are bringing kids maybe check with the host or Eric on the vibe before coming. It is a beautiful property and you can tell Jim has put a lot of thought, effort, and himself in the place. 3 nights at The Flying F Ranch Bunkhouse

Staying at the flying f ranch was so relaxing and refreshing. The cows did make their way up to the cabin and it was so cool getting to watch them. Brent and Tabitha showed us up to the cabin and were very nice, they were welcoming and had a beautiful property! Definitely get some steaks, eggs and ground beef!! They were delicious!! The porch sitting is awesome as well!

Carly’s property and yurt made for a perfect weekend getaway! Though just minutes from downtown, it was quiet, private, peaceful, and secluded. The space had everything we needed, including a functional toilet and shower. Along with the cozy vibe of the yurt, there were plenty of options for hiking trails and close to a vineyard for wine tasting. I highly recommend this property for a nice, cozy getaway.

We had a wonderful time staying at this special spot for a friends getaway. Our host was extremely helpful and responsive. The cabin is so well thought-out, and it's lovely to see the creativity and time that has gone into this property. It's so nice to be able to walk right out the door and hike their private trails, listen to the creek, and relax. We arrived right after fire restrictions were lifted, so we were able to use the outdoor fire pit and look at the stars. We also used the sauna every day we were there. It has an electric sauna heater and a small woodstove, so you can choose your heat source, and the short little path down to the cold dip in the creek is genius. Some folks in reviews have mentioned the composting toilets--as some of our group lives entirely off-grid, we were actually taking pictures of their setup because it's really well designed. Just think of all the water you're saving in the world. The property itself is well cared for, and their little dog is such a cutie. We would definitely stay here again!

GeerCrest Farm is a little slice of heaven! We rented the bunkhouse for our daughter’s birthday and the girls had the best time exploring the property. So many fun things to do and lovely spots to enjoy. The hosts were very gracious and helpful - setting up badminton for the kids to play, and loaning us a camp stove so we could heat up some soup. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic and relaxing time with our pups. They loved running around in the grass, and sleeping inside by the cozy wood stove. The yurt is completely equipped, we barely had to bring more than some food and our clothes! We walked over to the winery next door, wandered the trails on the property, and relaxed with games and books. A really special weekend!
