Hurlys Hideaway is a very nice location located approximately 2 miles from the town of Tillamook. Very close to the beach Sand Lake various Rivers for fishing kayaking swimming Etc. Approximately 4 MI from Netarts Oceanside area, Netarts Bay, Cape Mears. A very nice location to be able to access all of these activities in Tillamook County. My land is Timber, some clearings, we'll see how this goes I'm just getting started. Also, I just learned that the transient tax for Tillamook Oregon is an additional 10% and I hate to do this but I'm going to have to raise my prices $5. If you are coming from Town, I'm 2 mi. from the hospital west on hwy. 131. Look for the purple Minnesota Vikings bus shack. I also put up a hipcamp sign just up my driveway a bit. If you are coming from the south on Fraiser road, turn right when you come to hwy. 131. I'm less than a quarter mile on your left. Also a heads up lately I've had a few people that are having a hard time booking and I learned from another camper if you're staying one night you actually have to select two days it includes the day you check out I just experienced that with another camper so just a bit information I don't know if hip camp changed something or what, but if you're staying one night select two days and it'll work.

Nearby Ballston Road offers a great rural road system from which to explore by bicycle. Points of interest both out in the wild and more metro are all within an hour drive. We have indoor bathroom facilities for our guests in a separate apartment we have downstairs of our house. There is a small living and dining area, kitchenette with barista bar, microwave and small fridge. It is about 150' walk and is visible from the campsites but, still feels private. We also offer our little Bunkie, the Glass House for an extra fee. The Bunkie sleeps two comfortably. A 40-acre isolated forest paradise, our property has several places to dry camp with your tent or with your trailer/RV. We are close to Falls City, the vast wilderness of the Oregon Coast Range, Valley of the Giants, and are about a 15 minute drive from the cities of Dallas and Monmouth. We have two sites currently ready for camping with AMAZING views of the Oregon Coast Range with phone service, pets allowed if kept on leash (there are animals on neighboring properties), and a designated fire ring for fires if a fire ban is not in place. Great, private one night stay. Host Mark was super friendly. We really enjoyed talking to him. We walked the trails around our site with our dogs and hiss dog, Augie. Augie is also very friendly. Mark left us fire wood and offered us water in our tank which was so thoughtful. Would definitely stay again.

Mark came over on the first night to chat and give us firewood and local recommendations like a byway close by that we checked out the next day. We were the only ones there on a rainy October weekend but the super friendly dog kept us company and chased away coyotes at night. The grounds are great, lots of great viewpoints, very conveniently located, clean toilets… the kids asked when we could come back!

Our site was perfect for us, with convenient location but tucked away from high volume roads. We were able to park the 5th wheel (no hookups) in a level spot on field grass, so our dog was happy! Plenty of space between camp sites, deer and birds abounded. The ATVs could be heard when active at nearby Sand Lake, but far enough away to not be loud, and all other times were very quiet. Just what we were looking for.

Prefect little personal site with your own pond. I really enjoyed my weekend here! I don’t fish but I could see them jumping all weekend. Nice fire pit and a gas grill if you need. Got water and electric hookup. Joel is a super awesome and kind human!
