Campsite is on a second driveway to the front of the house on a wooded, half-acre lot in a quiet neighborhood in Southwest Bend. House lots are big and the area provides nice cool morning walks. There is a curb at the start of the driveway but aids will be provided if necessary. Electrical (110x2; 50A with converter to 30A), water, and sewer hookups are available! The sewer hookup may not work if your drain is underneath your vehicle and low to the ground. There is a fenced in yard that may be used if your dog(s) get along with mine and you help with poop patrol. You will need to check the fence line to confirm that your dogs cannot get out, as I am not responsible if they escape. A large part of my yard is rewilding, so you will see tall grasses and increasing varieties of flowers over the years. A hot tub may be available by appointment. There is one cat to rule us all and she may grace you with her presence if you welcome her. And a border collie to guard anyone she deems as part of her "flock." Site is located an easily walkable ½ mile from a shopping center with grocery (just closed but hoping for another to take its place), vet, Mexican and Asian-fusion restaurants, and a wine bar with occasional entertainment. Beyond that, is a park with a climb to a tall hill with a lovely 360 overlook view of the surrounding mountains. There is access to the river and river trail about ¾ mile walk away - this trail can take you all the way to Farewell Park and the Old Mill shopping area. And a bus stop is around the corner, just about a house length away. This is a great base location for all your adventures in Bend and surrounding areas, and a quiet place in which to relax afterwards. Numerous restaurants are also only 5 miles from the home. There are more than a half a dozen breweries within 8 miles and 45 minutes to Mount Bachelor. Pitch a tent out in the pasture, near the canal that runs through the property. We are a perfect location to the fairgrounds for the Farewell Festival and all Bend festivals throughout the year. We are 4 miles to the festival sights in Redmond and 20 min to Bend. We offer shuttle rides to and from the festivities so just enjoy the ride, enjoy the show and come home for a relaxing evening under the stars. If coming for The Farewell Festival we offer the purchase of a weekend shuttle pass to and from the fairgrounds for the weekend so you can enjoy your time and not spend it stuck trying to get out of the parking lot!! If you are bringing an RV or trailer we have hookups for electric (first come basis). We are close to Bachelor for skiing, Smith Rock for hiking, Sisters for shopping, too many lakes to name and 20mins to all Bend has to offer and so much more!

There is no shortage of things to do close by. During festivals there is a three day minimum for all sites. No matter the time of year there is always something to do. Small items available to purchase for those forgotten items. Oregon is a 21 and older state. Everyone needs to be 21 years old to smoke cigarettes, marijuana, or drink alcohol so please obey state laws. That being said feel free to partake just be respectful with your cans and butts. Most nights only 1 night stay is required however there are some blocked out days or extended stays (only a couple times a year)

Property located in SW Redmond, OR - in the heart of an outdoorsman's paradise - fishing, skiing, paddleboarding, kayaking, boating, running, biking, swimming, hiking and mountain climbing are all within an hour of the location. Smith Rock State Park is approximately 20 minutes to the north. Eagle Crest Resort is a short drive away. 5 acres of land with a gravel pad, gravel driveway, cross-fencing, shop building ( not accessible to campers) and great views of the Three Sisters mountains in the Cascades range. Summer days are typically warm and dry, while nights cool off dramatically. High desert climate - Redmond is located at about 3,000 feet above sea level. Electrical hook-up is available for an RV/trailer on the front of the shop building and to the south of the shop on the post. Dry-camping only - no sewage, septic or water hookup is available. 50 amp circuit. Privacy is not guaranteed. The shop is utilized daily by our family and friends. So, there might be a few visitors throughout the day in the shop.

Zach was easy to communicate with, understood my needs for immune precautions, and got me quickly set up with everything I needed to know to be comfortable in the space. It was easy to find, convenient for errands in town, but away from the busy-ness. I didn’t end up staying overnight due to a personal issue that changed my plans but would recommend for others. You’ll definitely want an extension cord and water hose on the longer side for this spot, especially if you have a larger rig or opt to back in. Thanks for hosting!

The Camp is convenient because it is in town (minutes from downtown); consequently, The Camp may be too noisy for some HipCampers (not me). The grounds and amenities are very well maintained. Weekend Trip to Golden Triangle RV Bend, Oregon

This was our second time staying at Rocki's and it was even better than the last! We rented both spots and had a great time. The location is perfect - only 10 minutes to downtown Bend, and if you prefer to Uber, it's less than $20. The sites are clean, the lighting Rocki has up sets the perfect mood, and the sunsets are outstanding. I hate (and love) bragging about the spots because it feels like our hidden gem of a campground! We already can't wait to come back!

Not only was the surrounding area gorgeous, the area where one stays for this hip camp is spacious, private, and cozy! I would definitely stay again, the tipi was larger in person than in pictures. My stay was during the tail end of a year wave and it was quite refreshing with shaded areas and plenty of table space to eat and cook camping style! I also loved seeing the goats every time I drove in and out of the spot!

Weekend Trip to Camp Close to town, trails, river and more

We had a last minute trip to Bend come up. Hotels were booked and I thought, why not roll the RV and try HipCamp. We ended up in a centrally located spot in a quiet part of town that is walking distance to Old Mill and the Amphitheater. The spot was lovely with power so we could run the AC. It was very hot that weekend. This will be a go to spot in the future. Thanks Joel!
