The 240 acre farm boasts a hidden cave, wide open fields, breathtaking forest land, and historic and rustic barns. Nestled at the edge of a wooded creek, Tullihas in the Trees treehouse boasts a beautiful sunset view with rolling hills. Tullihas combines comfort with the thrill of being immersed in nature. Built using recycled electric poles, Tullihas in the Trees has a deck perfect for hammocking, an interior dressed with windows so that guests can feel as if they are living amongst the trees, and two small lofts ideal for a restful night's sleep. Oxley in the Woods is our newest treehouse cabin. Nestled in the woods with a view of the sunset, the lovely A Frame is filled with lovely woodwork, vintage parquet flooring, and private wooded views. The deck is huge! We've had guests set up a tent on the deck beside the treehouse for fun! Swings, and a slide make the Oxley a fun adventure. The double bed in the loft and the two stacked single beds are comfortable and cozy. The McKee Farmhouse was built in the 1800s and is rich in memories. It's a rustic old house, with wood trim, hardwood floors, and plenty of imperfections that make it unique. You can sit on the porch and drink your coffee with a view of the barn and pastures, or cozy up in one of the house's four bedrooms and sleep in. The house is fully air conditioned and heated, has all the amenities of home, but takes you back to a simpler time. Our campsites are all set apart from one another in various locations on the 240 acre farm. Secluded and unique, each campsite has its own charm. We provide guests with a fire ring and a shovel, and some sites have a picnic table. Hiking trails are marked throughout the land. Guests can hike with views of horses, cows, wildlife, corn fields, large boulders, and rustic barns. The dirt roads provide great places to drive ATVs and four-wheelers. An Amish farm borders McKee Farm. Guests should know there is minimal cell service, however, this can offer a great opportunity to unplug. Tullihas in the Trees provides a perfect remote and rustic getaway for anyone. In October and November, access to hiking is limited.

We host many visitors including tours and events. An on farm market is available to visitors for purchase of our products including grass-fed beef, maple syrup, and fruits and vegetables. The cabin was built using wood from the farm. It has off-grid electricity meaning it is powered by batteries charged by solar panels. There is not sufficient power for devices with a heating element such as coffee makers and hair dryers. You may charge cell phones. For any other use, please check with the owner. Wild Life. There is an abundance of wildlife to be observed on the farm. Deer can be seen at dusk, raccoons can be seen going through your camp food at night (if you put it in your car), turkeys, hawks, vultures, rabbits, coyotes (heard screaming at night), frogs (especially heard at night), fish (jumping), and many song birds (my favorite, the bobolink, May and June only, nesting in the pastures). Visiting the Hocking Hills ? No interest in crowded campgrounds ? you have found 75 acres mostly wooded with trails right at the start of the Hocking Hills. (easy access from 33 and to Logan) There are various places around the property to pitch a tent. There are also options for RV parking with no hookups as well as a site with 30/50 amp. I can transport you and your gear to the remote sites. ATV's are also welcome on the property. Firewood will be provided for free and in abundant amount. The site on top of the hill is a very secluded and mowed crest of hill surrounded by dogwood trees and the invasive Autumn Olive bushes. The site above the rxrwinery.com is a secluded, mowed clearing in the mature woods. There are also 2 sites in the valley that allow you to be near your vehicle. While on my property, clothing is optional but respect for other campers is expected. If you are traveling with an RV, the Sunny Rest location is the best with campfire. This is a valley and may get soft after heavy rain. Please keep wheels near the lane if there's any question to the ground conditions and maneuvering your vehicle, please contact me. Apple product GPS will not get you to this location, use the pin on Google Maps.

This is a primitive site with no amenities, just a lovely meadow. We make an effort to keep it mowed but there are times in the year the grass gets out of hand, please be aware. Ticks and chiggers can be present depending on the season, so be advised. The campsite is in an open meadow on our 5 acre property, next to the ruins of what was one of the oldest barns in the county (there are still some beautiful stone walls left). You will be surrounded by trees and the spot is completely private. Directly across the road from our property (a 5 minute walk) is the Little Miami Scenic Trail, the third longest paved trail in the US (amazing for biking). The unique village of Yellow Springs is only a 5 minute drive away with a great local grocery store and several cafes. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE BOOKING. Notes: 1) (no RVs or trailers) cars need to park at the entrance of the meadow where there is gravel. Campers got stuck in the meadow due to rain/mud (which is why we do not allow RVs or trailers). 2) If you need to go number 2 please dig a cat hole at least 6" deep. There is an open public toilet in Yellow Springs and several businesses with open bathrooms. 3) The campsite is right off of Route 68. You cannot see cars from the site but you can hear them. The amount of noise from cars is lower at night. 4) The meadow is ideal for tent camping, though it is NOT a built campsite so it is on a somewhat steep slant at spots.

Next door to this property is a BP Station and Carryout. The Loves Truckstop has a Wendys, Subway, and dog park. Sheets also has a food court. All within walking distance. Great location as Columbus is 30 min to the east, Dayton is 25 min to the west. 13 min to I 675 and 20 min to Interstate 75 N/S. I 71 N/S Columbus is 35 min away in downtown Columbus... NOTE: Little over a quarter of a mile off of Interstate 70, and on a State Route, If looking for absolute silence and desolation, this is not for you. Back off of the road but all the sounds carry.....

We are located 9 miles from Laurelville, 16.4 miles from Logan, 17 miles from Lancaster, 19 miles from Circleville, where stores and dinning are abundant and easily accessible. The property is full of wildlife and magnificent views and rainbows galore, with minimal light pollution, our night sky's are spectacular. We are within a 30 minutes drive of all of Hocking Hills State Parks, Nature preserves and so much more. Hocking Hills features beautiful towering cliffs, thrilling waterfalls, and deep, hemlock-shaded gorges. With stunning ice formations in winter, wildflowers adorning the forest floor in springtime and vivid foliage in the fall, hikers and nature lovers have plenty to enjoy in this awe-inspiring area. Other local activities include, rock climbing, ziplining, ATV/UTV Rentals and tours, along with Canoe/Kayaking on the hocking river, horseback riding and so much more. Please message me on the morning of your stay with an ETA so I can make sure I'm here to great you. RVers if you are coming in from US Rte 33 please use Buena Vista Rd. Buena Vista Rd is one exit after Oppossum Hollow if you are heading East on 33 and also one exit pass 374 if you are heading West on 33. GPS will usually route you onto Oppossum Hollow Rd or State Rte 374. The State Rte 374 route will have you turn onto Oppossum Hollow. Oppossum Hollow road is a one lane unlined rd and is not the best for RVs. Taking Buena Vista Rd will only add about a mile and a few minutes to your trip. Be advised Buena Vista is a very curvey road but is traveled by large vehicles all the time. Just take it slow and you will be fine. We have a dully truck and 45 ft rig that we bring in and out just fine. If you are coming in from the South (Chillicothe area.) From State Rte 180, please take Jack Run Rd. This is also a paved two lane road. All other roads in the area are single lane rds and are not the best for RVs (don't use Middlefork, Long Run, Stump Run, or Clapper Hollow off of State Rte 180). I had a lot of fun on this trip! The dome was nice and comfy even though there were a bit of ladybugs inside seeking warmth I assume. I didn’t mind either way because being in nature comes with the bugs. speaking of warmth, the heater kept us warm throughout the night even overheating us at points until we realized there was a temperature set on it. I’m very glad that accommodation was there for the cold. I do suggest getting there before it starts getting dark so you can get a fire going for light when nighttime comes. Even though the bathroom is a bit of walk (as expected with camping), it was a very nice bathroom and well kept. Definitely bring some flashlights or have your phone with you for light because there isn’t too much lighting provided outside except for some lamps and ground lights here and there along the trail to the dome. The area around the dome and the dome itself felt very private and secluded so it really made you feel immersed in nature. I saw some reviews saying all they heard were cars because it is next to a road, but the dome is up in the hills so there were barely cars driving by and I didn’t notice them. I also saw reviews saying the dome in right next to the owners home and it didn’t feel private. Even though I saw the home in the distance, They have fences built around the dome to ensure campers’ privacy. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and suggest it for anyone looking for a getaway. One night was a relief from our unnaturally busy lives!

Perfect place for car camping and exploring the Hocking Hills region! Had no problem getting to our site even with slightly balded tires and some mud. Lovely property with towering hills surrounding you. In early November there wasn’t much foliage and so you can see the house and the other campsites but we were the only ones so it was no problem. Great fire ring, picnic table, and a nice love seat rocking bench. Was able to get WiFi by walking up near the house and the property was peaceful without any commotion! Our animals loved it too and really wanted to explore the hills and trails.

My kids and I had an absolute blast camping at Tullihas in the Trees! It's just as amazing as it looks in the pictures and so much more! The beds were unquestionably comfy, the cabin very well appointed, and despite the freezing night temperatures, the little heater in the corner kept us toasty warm without a struggle. My kidds loved the swings, I enjoyed the hammock quite a bit, and that was easily the nicest latrine I've seen in my 30+ years of camping. A perfectly sized cabin for a family of three!

We loved camping at Hilltop over Halloween weekend. We went hiking in Hocking Hills on Saturday and had trick or treaters and decorated and won the best decorated contest! Karen was very thoughtful and had breakfast on Saturday morning. The only thing that I would change is the site itself. Some weren’t level but we adjusted our camper to be level. Bath house was great and clean with showers. We loved the dog park all fenced in at the top.

I spent 3 nights at Campsite #2 and my only wish is that it had been longer! The land is near some main roads but there's no intrusive traffic noise. This location is perfect for its proximity to amazing state and regional parks (check out Conkles Hollow, seriously under-appreciated beauty). Margie and Todd are excellent hosts and they've done so much to bring small perks to otherwise primitive camping experience. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

The Sunny Rest Skyview was nice and spacious. Jim was a great host! He offered free firewood, and even brough more the second day. We didn't wander around the property too much, but it was nice and peaceful. The dogs came to visit and were very friendly :D During the day we could hear the traffic on route 33, but in the evening it died down and got pretty quiet. This campsite is right on the access road, so everyone else in-and-out passed right by us, but it wasn't a big deal. All in it was a great experience and I definitely recommend!
