This is retired farm in the middle of nowhere. We have a lake that is stocked with trout, catfish, bass and whatever else is in there. The lake is catch and release only. Fee for fishing. This is a place for people that want to enjoy nature and not have several people camping next to them. This is not a campground with a lot of people, sometimes you may be the only people staying there. Learn more about this land: Hike in woods, basically enjoy nature. We have wooded areas and open field areas to explore. Great place to get away from the world and relax. No utilities or restrooms available. Cell phones only work in limited areas.

Secluded and off the beaten path, the owners of the property are available if needed but several miles away. 15 minutes from Interstate 79, 10 minutes from Glenville WV. Foodland and Dollar General 8 minute drive, for any necessities you may have forgot. McDonalds, Pizza Hut and Tudors are located nearby. Close to Burnsville Lake, Sutton Lake, Glenville University, Sue Morris Sports Complex. The New River Gorge is approximately 85 miles away, an easy day trip. Acreage to explore, deer friends often visit. Pet friendly. Check in and out times are flexible, please let us know how we can best accommodate you and your party. Learn more about this land: Our camp spots are very easy to drive right up to. They are overlooking a small bit of woods. Wake up in the morning to birds chirping. The area has a large clearing for children to play. but the privacy you need to enjoy a nice evening around the campfire. There is a pond for fishing, and a nice deck that is avaliable to use. There is 25 acres here and you are welcome to use it for your enjoyment. We do have fencing to keep our horses in so please we ask to not climb over the fences as they will shock you as they are electric. You will see chickens goats, rabbits, horses, dogs, and cats on our hobby farm. The wildlife you may see include squirrels, deer and racoons fox etc. Located 2 miles from interstate 70 for easy access. NewConcord is just 3 1/2 miles down the road and is the home town of John Glenn you can visit his home place there, or pick up grocerys. Cambridge is the next town away at 8 miles and you can go shopping there, We are also near the Wilds, Blue Rock State Park, and Jesse Owens State park. Hope to see you soon!

Also one mile from Egypt Valley Nature Public land. Close to fishing, boating, horseback riding, hunting, hiking. You can hike on trails at the camp site . Nice clear view of the stars.Learn more about this land:Located just 8 miles from interstate 70 in Ohio exit #202 coming from the east and exit 198 from the west . SORRY CAMPFIRE WOOD NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME We are a 40 acre family farm , not a camp ground . But you can drive to all of our sites and  Pitch a tent near a pine forest and pond on a miniature horse farm . Private, but walking distance to the main house were water is available for washing and drinking. Many hiking trails on the land with a pond, stream, mediation circle. We have lots of wildlife. Located on a dirt road about 25 miles to nearest city. Fire ring and firewood is available. One tent or camper per site . Only 2 miles to Piedmont Lake where you can fish and go boating . They have a marina and restaurant. Only minutes from an Ohio wildlife reserve Egypt Valley great for hiking and hunting. Located in the Muskingum Water Shed with many lakes and streams including Salt Fork , Clenndening  , Piedmont, Seneca, Tappen Lakes . We have a lot you can park your boat when its not on the lake while camping .  We are located in a  Amish community , so watch for horse and buggys  on your drive to the farm.   primitive camping ~  is defined as being without neighbors, electricity, running water, bathroom facilities and, often times, cell service. You camp in a remote location and provide everything for yourself

We have a beautiful 20 acre lake. It's 60 ft deep with crystal clear water and is great for swimming and fishing. Kayaking welcome too. We also have a couple other ponds available for fishing as well. We raise fresh water prawn and bluegill in the summertime, so late september we have fresh shrimp available. Lots of waterfowl and deer here to see.
