We have just under 20 acres. You can drive right to the camp sites located about 700 foot behind the house. It is a peaceful setting over looking a pond, fishing is welcome. There is a pavilion and a playground. Kids and dogs are welcome. We are close to several local wineries and about 20 minutes from Lake Erie. Pymatuning Lake is 30 minutes away. Geneva on the Lake is about 30 minutes from us.
We have a catch and release fishing pond. There are 8 sites, all pretty spaced out to give privacy and a relaxing experience. 2 of which are pretty secluded site 6 and site 8. Campsites 1, 2,4,5 and 7have a view of the pond. Site 3 is near a meadow and sits behind all the other sites. Sites 1,2,3,7 can be RV or tent sites.
The pavilion adds a sense of comfort especially during rain days. We have corn hole , bocce ball and a few other relaxing games as well as a few card and board games for playing while enjoying the pavilion.

Whomever named Mosquito Lake Park obviously didn't understand good PR, but don't let the name discourage you. Nearly 2,500 acres of marshes and woodlands create a beautiful ambiance for your next getaway in Mother Nature. Stroll along one of two trails in the park, where robins and warblers tucked behind purple cresses and beech-maple trees may just move you to tears, or at least to write a haiku. Floating devices of just about every variety are invited to channel the 7,850 lake, and areas like a dog park means Fido is more than welcome on the scene. We doubt the mosquitos will be much of a problem, but if worse comes to worse, you can just light some of those good-smelling candles or load up on the catnip (look it up!) to fend off potential itchy bites.

Purchased by my grandfather back in 1953 it has been a diverse fruit farm for many years.
Currently we have almost 200 acres, a lot of it woods.
We don't currently grow the crops that we did but we have planted some wine grapes in the last several years.
As we also have a winery, The Winery at Spring Hill, we wanted to get some of our own grapes in the ground.

Hello, this is 22 acres of no-frills undeveloped land with beautiful Arcola Creek that runs into Lake Erie. There's room for an RV or can pitch a tent. Enjoy Arcola Creek Estuary a mile away, bird watching, multiple wineries, covered bridges, Geneva on the Lake or enjoy all day by the creek. There is a perfect spot with a fire pit. (Firewood available for purchase)
There are rough trails in the back where the land was logged. There is not a bridge currently but can be accessed easily when the water level is low. Please limit guests to 6 or less people. The land isn’t perfectly level but there are some flat spots for tents. Although neighbors are some distance away, I ask that noise levels are low after 10.
^Please note that there is a camera on the property (not on camp site) for security of my equipment/property when the land is vacant. Camera is rotated out of view after arrival for full privacy of the guests.
There is an outhouse with a bucket on the property if needed and flushable toilets a mile north on Dock Rd at Arcola Creek Park (Overlooking Lake Erie). Theres also electric outlets there and under the pavilion.
Facts/History: Arcola creek runs into an estuary. It’s one of the last remaining natural estuaries in Ohio. Steelhead trout spawn and migratory birds find shelter here.
The creek was used by Native Americans, and the area was instrumental for its role in the Underground Railroad for escaped slaves that boarded ships (at the end of the Dock Rd) on their way to Canada.
The town of Ellensburg was built at the junction of Arcola Creek and Lake Erie. It was a thriving community of ship builders, fishermen and commerce. Arcole Iron Works was located south of the mouth of the creek (then called Cunningham Creek after Captain John Cunningham who purchased property there in the early 1800s). Arcole Iron Works was, at one time, the largest industry in Ohio. Bog iron, discovered in Madison Township near North Ridge Road in 1812, and the abundance of timber provided raw materials for iron furnaces. Iron stoves, kettles, hollowware and other heavy castings were made at the foundry.

Deep in our property is our camping area. You'll have a wide open view of the stars, plus a large picnic area + fire ring all to yourself. There is a composting toilet right at the campsite, or you may use a (shared) standard half bath a short walk away. Most days you can park right at the campsite (unless we've had a lot of rain and the ground is soft). This means you can bring your pop-up camper, teardrop, or sprinter van and have a private camping experience. Add breakfast and let us do the cooking for you!
Blue Cabin:

Located just down the road from our farm, the Blue Cabin is a private, off-grid cabin on a heavily wooded lot. Enjoy lots of shade, and a space that often stays cool, even in the heat of summer. Amenities include a picnic table and fire ring (comes with one load of firewood), water via a Berkey filter, and a composting toilet.

A beautiful view, excellent and friendly hosts. Perfect spot with 30amp service for my van. Picturesque and clean, perfect for vans, tents and B class RVs. I would be weary about making a right hand turn into the property if I had a trailer, or a class A, so try to plan your trip for a left hand turn if you're towing and arrive in the daylight. There is a bit of a hill, I would not recommend for a bigger rig, but it's perfect for a van!

What an amazing little spot. The winery is lovely with wine, animals and a lovely vibe. We stayed for 4 nights with my son while visiting our grandmother and we were made to feel welcome from entering the property. Vanessa and Annette were terrific. We spent many a night on the patio while sipping wine. Highly recommended if visiting Cleveland.

Close to everything but still feels like it’s in the country. I was combining camping with some preliminary house hunting in the Cleveland area. Jason & Marcie’s place allowed me to comfortably do both. Road noise picks up in the morning but drops off quickly at night. The pond is peaceful and makes a nice backdrop for an evening drink or morning coffee.

I had an Amazing Stay @The Cleveland Winery. I was passing through town looking to stay a night so I could explore a little of Cleveland and also make my way to the Pro Football Hall of Fame the next morning. I called around 4pm to see if it was possible for me to stay for one night figuring it was last minute and wanted to make sure this was ok. I was told by one of the workers that that would be fine. They informed me that they were having a few birthday celebrations at the place to make sure I was aware and ok with it. I had no problem with that and made a reservation and headed there. Upon arrival I was greeted by one of the Co-Owners of the establishment Annette. She was the sweetest, friendliest and welcoming person I’ve ever met. She showed me where I could park my vehicle and also where the restrooms were and gave me a tour of the small but very cute winery. She told me to make myself at home and get comfortable. Throughout the evening I interacted with so many of the patrons from the place and had such an amazing time. They showed me what Cleveland Hospitality was all about. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I even helped light a few fires and helped Ms. Annette with a few other odds and ends. Ms. Annette is truly a Beautiful Soul and I’m so glad I stayed and got to meet these wonderful people. Thanks So Much for making my stay in Cleveland Unforgettable. Don’t hesitate to book and enjoy their loving atmosphere.
