Less than a mile from Montpelier, a golf cart community. Small town still host Montpelier Speedway one of the last dirt tracks in Indiana. Races on most Saturday nights. I had no problem finding the entrance to the property. I pulled in and contacted Amanda as was asked for in the sites posting for the reservation. I waited and didn't get a reply after about 25 minutes or so I explored and I found my site. It was numbered and found it quite easily on the edge of the large pond which I found out later was once a dolomite quarry. Setup and while I was doing so Amadas parents pulled up and greeted me.
View was great of the water and site was level with a large area to turn around my for vehicle and trailer to leave the next morning. No electric or potable water which I knew beforehand but the porta potti was appreciated. Would definitely use Amandas property again.

Absolutely what we were looking for. Beautiful property, sandwiched between a river and a stocked pond. Fairly quiet, very peaceful. Cindy is an amazing hostess. Super sweet and friendly. Lots of wildlife around. Everything from turkeys and hawks, to deer and coyotes. Definitely a great place to drop a tent, hang a hammock and relax. Thank you so much Cindy, we appreciate you!

Cindy was a gracious host. She actually walked me around the property to assist me in choosing a spot. She also provided a wagon to help haul my gear. Being able to walk up to the lake from my tent to fish was extremely convenient. I caught a few pan fish on some bee moths. Apparently there's some big cats in the lake. My goal was to relax and unplug and this property allowed me to do just that.

We ended up at the brewery. Good drinks, good food. They have food trucks and entertainment on a rotating schedule.

Im glad everyone else is sleeping on this hidden gem! Definitely the best way to spend a 95* summer day. We had the entire lake to ourselves. I paddled around all day, with my dog, on my SUP sipping beer. No DD required. In the evening, we sat on the beach, lawn chairs half in the water.
The camp site was nice, big enough for two tents and a picnic table. The hosts were very kind and generous. No complaints at all. The port a John smelled bad, but let's face it. Its super hot, and a toilet. There was air freshener spray, which again was thoughtful.
We would definitely come back. Thank you for the pleasant stay

This RV site was exactly what we were looking for. Super easy to find and located in a peaceful, quiet spot. The fire pit was great and we loved hanging out by the pond and listening to the birds (and farmers in the background). Allen was nice - checked in on us to make sure everything was good, but also gave us our space to enjoy his place.
The listing is truthful with its "picnic table present . . . use with caution". We were glad to have a tablecloth and seat covers for the picnic table but it was sturdier than expected. We had a great time and will be back to the Outpost again, I'm sure.

My wife and I stayed at the outpost this weekend. It was an easy drive up state routes and county roads. We arrived at the location and immediately knew how to park. We used the two lane, untraveled road in front of the outpost to easily back our 25 foot RV into place. There was room to spare with the RV and my 19 ft F150 still hooked up. You could get a 45footer on the gravel lot. It was very quiet. We enjoyed our stayed and even did a little fishing. We caught 2 MASSIVE bluegills and a few small bass right from our chairs. There is a 30 amp service, but no water or sewer ( we dumped at Camper's Inn in TippCity/Troy, Ohio). We would definitely visit again. We met the owner - He was very cordial and you can tell he loves his property! A++

Weekend Trip to Indian Lake Adventures
We had a great time glamping in our adorable Indian Lake tiny house! The grounds are well maintained and lovely, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. On the edge of the property is a brew pub with games, cozy seating indoors and out, fire pits, and sometimes even live music and food trucks, which was a pleasant surprise. House was well equipped with many essentials, too. Would definitely stay again!!

10 ft travel trailer
Allen’s beautiful land was nestled between fields on all sides. He was very welcoming and let me know what to expect during my stay, i.e. paths, fire ring, parking, etc. It was very tranquil and quiet with little traffic on this country road in Ohio’s quintessential farmland.
