Ridge Ranch Campground is a resort-style family campground on 76 acres in Newton Falls, Ohio, just off I-80 and the Ohio Turnpike and about 10 minutes from Nelson Ledges State Park. The centerpiece is a 17-acre lake with a rebuilt sand beach (more than 1,000 tons of new sand, so it's sand underfoot, not mud), a large swimming deck and a Wibit floating water park.

I started this 2 acre homestead! It is home to myself, my four dogs, turkeys, and some chickens. I’m very close to all the creature comforts like Walmart and Target, but the property is wooded on three sides so you feel like you’ve gotten away from the city. There is a small creek my dogs love to play in and a large field for frisbee and star gazing. There are hikes close by at Little Turtle Pond and many restaurants within 10 minutes like Woodys for breakfast and dinner at NauitiVine. We have multiple campsites here from wooded to open field or by the pond so come and pick one that suits you best.
We are adjacent to the Kennerdell Tract Of Clear Creek State Forest which has miles of hiking and biking trails as well as the Allegheny River which provides fishing, boating, kayak/ canoeing opportunities. There is also The Allegheny River Trail which provides miles of paved bike trails.
What we offer: We are not a campground and do not offer multi-night stays
We are vandwellers when we are traveling. As such we understand the problems associated with finding a spot to overnight.
We offer just that, a safe, quiet stop over for the night. That being said, if you need an extra day feel free to ask, we often say yes.

Easy to set up. Spot we were in was right next to electrical hookups and was nice and flat. Easy to pull in and level out quickly. Brian was friendly and we felt comfortable leaving the rv for a few hours while we went into town. Only downside is the electric is a 20amp so our ac couldn’t run while we were gone for our cat but it ended up being a pretty mild day so we used a couple different fan set ups and he was totally fine while we were gone.

We adore this campground. Beautifully maintained, great sites and only 80 min from us in Cleveland. The owners provide dry firewood that you can purchase for 10$ a wheelbarrow. There is a river winding through, this time we caught sight of the beaver that lives there! The only drawback is the sound from the natural gas liquidation plants few miles away but they aren’t operating on Sundays so it is so peaceful. It doesn’t take away from the beauty and serenity of this spot and the hosts are kind and helpful! We did a tent one time and this time brought the RV.
