Near Cuyahoga Valley National Park
Within a 30-minute drive from the Hunt House.
I started this 2 acre homestead! It is home to myself, my four dogs, turkeys, and some chickens. I’m very close to all the creature comforts like Walmart and Target, but the property is wooded on three sides so you feel like you’ve gotten away from the city. There is a small creek my dogs love to play in and a large field for frisbee and star gazing. There are hikes close by at Little Turtle Pond and many restaurants within 10 minutes like Woodys for breakfast and dinner at NauitiVine. If you enjoy boating Nimistila Reservoir (electric only very kayak friendly) and Portage Lakes are a quick 12 minute drive. I look forward to meeting you soon!You will be able to stay tucked away in a blackberry patch while still having the luxury of being close to civilization. Free parking on the premises. Pets are allowed and welcome!! I’d love to see your cat camping with my turkeys! All pets should be on a leash at all times. Camp tucked away surrounding by trees! Campers cannot see the house or the road when set up so you have privacy! You will be camping next to an open field perfect for frisbee or catch. There is also a disc golf basket for some friendly competition. There is a creek next to the property if you’d like to search for craw dads or just listen to the babbling brook. Don’t forget to bring an extra apple to feed the chickens!! Pro tip: yell “Here Chickens” and throw tiny pieces and they’ll be on their way! The campsite is complete with lights, a hammock, picnic table and a fire pit. Primitive bathroom is provided on-site. There is also many public bathrooms within a couple minutes if you prefer a more modern experience.

Composting toilet. Primitive bathroom is provided. It is a bucket system with a trash liner in it. It’s not fancy but she’s useable! Gloves are provided for any reason. Saw dust is provided in the gray bin to cover up your business and reduce any smell. Public restrooms are available within minutes if you’d prefer a more modern experience.

Off leash, on leash. Any off leash dogs must be recalled trained. I have many deer, rabbits and or course the chickens are on the property.

Nice grassy area in the back of the property. It is surrounded by trees, which helps to keep it private. It was a great space to stop in the city and still be in nature. The site was convenient for visiting Cuyahoga Falls.

This was a beautiful little hidden spot in Akron! We were able to park and stay for a few nights here in the stark/tuscarawas area while visiting family. There were two firepits available which we were able to cook on and a nice table and hammock to hang at! This place is a great, easy, no hassle place to stay in this area of ohio.

Hannah’s hip camp is close to the city amenities and is still a very quiet and peaceful setting. I stayed here because of the close proximity to the Blossom Music Center. I plan to stay on my next concert trip to the Akron area.

A beautiful property with a lot of space to make yourself comfortable while you camp and close to Cuyahoga Valley National Park if you want to visit. The string lights and hammock are a great touch! There is road noise but I didn’t find it to be very noticeable among the night bugs and morning birds.

This was a perfect stop for the first leg of our journey from Massachusetts to Oregon. We arrived past sundown and had no trouble finding the entrance to the property. The space itself is within view of chickens and turkeys, but behind tall grass that leaves the site feeling nice and private. There is a great deal of open space and disc golf goal posts.

We were on the road when we reserved the site and she answered right away. We just needed a place to park and sleep in the car. She and her partner were outside when we arrived. They are very congenial, so we traded stories for a while, greeted some of the critters, and set up camp. They are close to amenities, but we weren't disturbed by neighborhood sounds. We'll definitely stop back if we're coming this way!

this site is a sweet little patch of grass tucked into her yard, it's not far from the city and there is a road nearby you can hear but it feels succluded enough. she was very nice and helpful and i enjoyed my stay here.

What a great spot! We didn’t originally anticipate stopping in Akron, but wanted to spend a day at CVNP, so when we found Blackberry Campsite we decided to camp there for a couple nights. It’s a great lil wooded area right in town, you can’t beat the location for convenience and it was as quiet as if you’re deep in the woods. Hannah was an excellent host and responded immediately with anything we needed. Saving this location!

Overall, it's a nice lil camp spot. Cozy and in the trees in the back of the yard. The outhouse was clean and it was great that there was firewood for purchase. I thought that was all very cool. It's actually pretty serene for where it's located. However, It is really in the middle of an urban neighborhood. So even though dogs are allowed off-leash, we didn't feel totally comfortable doing that. And there were other campers in buses nearby so not as private as expected. However, my experience with Hannah was great and she was an excellent host. Thanks again!

I had a really pleasant stay at Three Dog Homestead. It was a secluded, peaceful spot only a 10-minute drive from downtown Akron. A simple setup with a primitive vibe that allowed the natural ambience of birdsong (turkeys included) and morning sunlight filtering through leafy trees to shine through. Recommend if you're looking for a quiet spot close to the city.

Very nice and secluded campsite and only one site. Conveniently located between Football HOF and R&RHOF plus near all the shopping you need. No amenities but we were self contained so no problem for us.

We enjoyed camping on this property! Our son loved the gobbles of the turkey, and the pups were so sweet. Great location close to everything. It was set up very well to make you feel in the middle of nowhere but still close to everything that Akron and Cuyahoga Valley have to offer.

The campsite on Hannah's property is secluded and set up very nicely. My husband and I spent two nights there and we're very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this spot. It is close to Blossom Music Center. If you are seeing a show, this is a great place to camp!

We bought our teardrop here in early November. Even with most of the leaves on the trees down it was nice. No interference from the neighbors. Wood was available for purchase and stacked nicely. We had a lovely fire Saturday night. We would stay again

Great place to stop and rest on a road trip. Close to essential stores and highways. You can hear said road noise, but it didn’t bother me. The compost toilet was convenient and clean. I awoke to adorable wild rabbits eating clovers outside my tent.

Hannah gave great directions and the site was exactly as described! It’s close to town so you can hear some road noise but once you’re settled in you’re tucked away and it’s easy to feel like you’ve got your own little private space!
