We had a pleasant stay at the campsite. Check in was easy and Joe was there to meet us when we arrived. The grass in the campsite was long, which made using the campsite a little harder but it was manageable. As the host mentioned, this campsite is directly under a large set of power lines, so there is a slight humming noise most of the time you’re there but if that doesn’t bother you then this is a great place to stay! The driveway to get to the site is a grassy road, but access is easy enough. The site itself is somewhat isolated and quite large, with trees on the sides. Be aware that the site is mostly comprised of uneven ground so setting up a large tent could prove challenging, although we didn’t really run into any issues with the tent we have.

My friend and I felt very comfortable staying here! The host was welcoming and there right when we arrived to guide us on where to go. Great communication through the app as well. Would recommend to anyone coming for Cuyahoga National Park or Portage Lake.

Joe made everything easy and prepared a beautiful section of land for us. Close to a state park with several amenities, and well hidden from any nonsense. Would recommend this to any camper looking for an authentic experience, truly a hidden beauty.

Good spot, Joe was a great host and very responsive. It was a nice little pastor filled with dandelions and noises off of wildlife. The spot is under some high power lines which makes for some unique scenery. I was able to have a nice bon fire and slept well, all around good stay!

Joe was a super great host, he was available and communicative when I needed. The location was great. The site doesn't really have usable tree cover, and that would have been nice, and the water was pretty hard. That may be common of the area I am not sure, but it was yellow when putting it into our jugs so we didn't feel pumped to drink it. Otherwise it was a great stay, and we felt safe and for the price it was great. Joe was super helpful and we would probably stay again if needed

This place is very private. Even though there are houses nearby, you wouldn't know it once you are back the lane. Very quiet and secluded, exactly what I wanted.
The GPS directions do take you to the main house but Joe was there to help direct me to the next road and driveway back to the spot. Joe was very friendly and helpful.

On very late notice Joe allowed us to stay on his land, even staying up close to midnight to show us where to go. Not far from the road but served our purpose none the less, a nice open patch with a good view of the stars.

Joe met us upon arrival gave us options of places to camp on his property. Cut the grass for us. Brought us some wood and bricks for the camp fire. Beautiful area. Awesome lakes. Rented a John boat one morning went fishing on Mogadine
Lake. Very reasonable price. Awesome experience.

Joe offered to meet us at the site. He showed us where his property ended and pretty much let us choose where we wanted to camp. It had rained a lot the day before and he graciously cut the tall grass for us so that we didn’t have to deal with all that. He also warned us of a parade that was happening the next day and advised to leave early. Overall a great guy and a great camping site. You camp under power lines and the sun set and sunrise is absolutely beautiful with the ambient lighting. I definitely recommend putting up a rain fly as the morning dew and fog will get your tent soaked.

Joe sent me the address for the place. The driveway is unmarked, but other than that it was easy to find. Joe met me at the place where he told me I could camp. It was a field of tall grass underneath big power lines and he mowed a path back away from the road to set up a tent.

Joe was really nice and gave me some options as far as places to camp. I was in the woods and it was very nice. The directions were clear and it was only a 45-minute drive from my house. Some people's homes were near but that did not distract my enjoyment at all. During the night, a rainstorm came through. I heard an owl and coyotes, and in the morning, roosters. That was one of the most relaxing trips I've been on in a long time.
