The double bed in the loft and the two stacked single beds are comfortable and cozy. The McKee Farmhouse was built in the 1800s and is rich in memories. It's a rustic old house, with wood trim, hardwood floors, and plenty of imperfections that make it unique. You can sit on the porch and drink your coffee with a view of the barn and pastures, or cozy up in one of the house's four bedrooms and sleep in. The house is fully air conditioned and heated, has all the amenities of home, but takes you back to a simpler time. Our campsites are all set apart from one another in various locations on the 240 acre farm. Secluded and unique, each campsite has its own charm. We provide guests with a fire ring and a shovel, and some sites have a picnic table. Hiking trails are marked throughout the land. Guests can hike with views of horses, cows, wildlife, corn fields, large boulders, and rustic barns. The dirt roads provide great places to drive ATVs and four-wheelers. An Amish farm borders McKee Farm. Guests should know there is minimal cell service, however, this can offer a great opportunity to unplug. There is great scenic motor touring from Spring Mountain, the highest point in the county, across the Mohawk Dam, to riverside drives, scenic backroads and a ride across a covered bridge! Walk the forested blue loop nature trail on an adjoining 13 acres that loops through BIG trees and large rocks of glacial till under the shade of an ancient chestnut oak tree. The trail begins across the road opposite the campground driveway. Ticks, mosquitos and deer flies can be bad at times. Protect yourself! See us on Facebook at Edge of the Ledge Camp. Avoid introducing or transporting non-native species. Do not build structures, furniture, or dig trenches. Minimize Campfire Impacts Campfires can cause lasting impacts to the environment. Use a lightweight stove for cooking and enjoy a candle lantern for light. Where fires are permitted, use established fire rings, fire pans, or mound fires. Keep fires small. Only use down and dead wood from the ground that can be broken by hand. Burn all wood and coals to ash, put out campfires completely, then scatter cool ashes. Welcome to our farm! Established in 2022, Rolling Hills Farm and Stables offers the convenience of being close to stores, restaurants and major interstates while still having the feel of country living. Currently 40 of our 50 acres is farmed, but you are welcome to take walks and enjoy the scenery. We currently offer two 30 amp RV hookups, one at our horse barn and one at our riding arena. Enjoy a fire in our fire ring in the meadow (firewood ready and available upon request) or watch the sun set from our porch swing on a 100+ year old beech tree. Weekend Trip to Countryside Corner

Thanks to Michelle for making my first-time Hipcamping a breeze! She greeted me just as I pulled in and showed me to the best spot for my car camping. Appreciated the nearby private toilet and got to use the firewood and fire ring my second night. Nights were peaceful and mornings so pretty with the field of fog! Wish I had been there during the daytime to meet the goats - another time!

Christy was so sweet. We enjoyed meeting her and her pup Duke! The land is immaculate and we enjoyed the marked trail through the woods and her little halloween path. This is my go to spot. I come to this beautiful property a couple of times a year. James and his wife are so sweet and helpful. They maintain everything really well. Beware the wood site is full of ticks! We were pulling them off of our dogs constantly. But the site is very private and a perfect getaway.

Jim greeted us as soon as we pulled in and was absolutely lovely. His property is clearly very cared for and built with a lot of love. His pond is perfect for relaxing and our pup had an amazing time. There's a Walmart about 8 minutes away, which was great considering I forgot about 10 items haha. We will definitely come back and camp again!

Mr. Grogg is a great & sweet man! His farm is just what we needed. We will go back & always stay at #6 campsite! This place is tranquil, beautiful, & quiet. There is a lot to do: Kayaking, canoeing, hiking trails, you can swim & there is a creek that runs through. We LOVE this Place!!! Thank you Mr. Grogg for your hospitality!
