We reside within the Village of Morrow, walking distance to restaurants and stores. The little Miami Bike Trail is approximately 1/4 mile from our entrance. This property is tucked away and you wouldn’t even know you’re close to town once you’re on site. I have two properties which offer two different kinds of camping, which I have tried to itemize separately in the Hipcamp listings. The pictures were hard to sort out.RV's and Campers will park on the upper level at the Panama Street address which has water and electricity. You cannot actually see the Ohio River from the parking lot, but it is a short walk. Any pictures of water were taken from the tent camping site. If you are in a large vehicle, but are looking to spend a lot of time by the river,, you can hope that the site is available for use, which usually it is, (somehow I rarely book both places at once), or you can book both sites. Tent campers set up their tents right beside the river. There is a very simple house with a bathroom, cold running water, electricity, and also provides shelter in bad weather. It's an unusual set up, as perhaps Hipcamper spots often are. On one hand I feel like I am in the middle of nowhere when I am on these (small, very not fancy) properties by the river. On the other, there are planes, trains, barges and pleasure boats, and motorcycles passing by at times. California is just a few minutes off I-275 from the Kellogg exit, and a 15 minute drive from Cincinnati. It is the eastern-most neighborhood with a quaint village feel. Safe, flat, scenic and walkable, California offers several dining experiences, one a brewery, and quite a variety of recreational experiences. Riverbed Music Center, in season, is a mile away, walking distance, as is Belterra, the race track/casino. The bike trail is a few blocks away and connects to all the other area bike trails including the Loveland Bike Trail along the "Wild and Scenic" Little Miami River. A local nature preserve, California Woods, offers hiking and nature programs, and there is even the California Golf Course. A park with large, grassy open spaces and small playground is a few blocks away. Bring your game of horse shoes, corn hole, a frisbee to throw, your skateboard, golf cart, or some bikes just to cruise around and take in the scenery. The Little Miami River flows past Armleder Park a few miles away, which has a gravel river beach, a dog park, walking and biking trails and connects to the 5 mile loop around Lunken Airport. There is a lot to do in Cincinnati.

Great site, host brought firewood. The site is easy to access, but also very quiet. We saw a buck crossing the field in the morning. The stars were incredible at night because there is very little light pollution.

The land is very private, we were able to access the property with ease. The camp sites were distanced very nicely as we didn’t really hear or see anyone else. Access to the creek was easy, the creek water was very clear in nature. We did some fishing and caught 4 large mouth bass and a species I never dealt with before. After few forums the fish was skipjack herring know. As poor mans Tarpon. You can hear the coyotes late at night hunting animals. We didn’t encounter any wildlife like deer, or raccoons. The owner greeted us very next day. I would def come back during the summer time and do some fishing. Camp site 3 was excellent cause we like being away from people and being on our own. The location took me by surprise. The owner gave us a tip on hot tent camping, I had a stove was too close to the ground. He recommended some stone or concrete blocks. We went to Home Depot and got some cheap stone stepping stones and fixed our problem with the stove.

We really enjoyed camping here , the vintage airstream campers were very nice. The outdoor setting with fireplace area was an added bonus. Will definitely be back.

We brought our 25ft travel trailer, easy parking, nice to have electric and we were able to fill water. Beautiful and peaceful farm to stay for a couple of nights getaway. Glen was so nice and we were thankful for our time here and will hopefully be back!

This was an amazing camping experience! the sites are very private and spacious. the hosts were kind and have taken time to make sure you have a comfortable stay. The land is beautiful, the creek is accessible and lovely. This was our first stay and we will be back! There are a couple nice restaurants near by (we ate at Fresh to Morrow) and an awesome bike path we will check out next time. We picked up records at a near by record store in an old elementary school building and enjoyed beers and a taco truck at the brewery 3 minutes away. We can’t wait to return and bring friends! Thank you to Fred and Glenn! You are doing this right and we are grateful! Jack and Aubrey (and our Escape 5.0)

Phenomenal property to stay on. The peace of the creek, open space to have to yourself, and separated from the nearby neighborhood made this location seem more than remote than it really is. Already have given a referral to a friend and am excited to try to come back for the Revival in 2026 after talking to locals at the many great businesses/activities in the surrounding area!
