Our pads are extra wide, level, and extra long complete with a fire pit and picnic table. Sites are located in a grassy field surrounded by forest. Our 70 acre property boasts scenic views, two small ponds with fish to feed, and marked hiking trails. This is a perfect place for star gazing. It's our hope that you will find genuine peace and relaxation here.
Due to requests a second site was created in February '22. This is a perfect place for two families to enjoy this acreage all to themselves. Please see photo denoting the location of site 1 and site 2. Each site is booked independently.

We have had several 40+ft rigs stay with us with no issue. For those not accustomed to mountain travel or new drivers please know that travel off NC 18 on the state road is a typical two lane paved mountain road with curves, some of which will require you to swing wide, a couple of areas of moderate incline but that does not exceed 8%, a short state maintained gapped section of gravel and an occasional low hanging branch. At the campsites there is a slight incline and some loose gravel.
Caution: Wildlife present in the area including bear, bobcat, deer, turkey.

An agrarian dream - a literal field of possibility. With 18 acres to choose from you may find yourself sleeping along the lazy Fifteenmile Creek, atop a hill under Virginia stars, or even set up with pastoral views of hens and Great Pyrenees dogs.
The roadfront side of our property offers level terrain for pull-behind trailers, while vehicles (preferably 4WD) and tent campers can travel all the way back to the creek. Feeling froggy? Ford the stream and camp in the large field on the other side. Be sure to mind the animals and fields, as this is a working farm.
One mile down the road from the farm is the Virginia Creeper Trail, renowned for biking, but as a multi-use trail, you can also enjoy walking, running, horseback riding, fishing, cross country skiing, and geocaching.
South Holston Lake is only minutes away by vehicle, with two public access boating ramps 10 to 20 minutes away.
Access to the Appalachian Trail is only 20 minutes away in Damascus.
We became caretakers of this lovely property in June of 2021, moving from our existing farm, 45 minutes away. When we got it, it was a blank slate of a hayfield, and we have spent the summer laying infrastructure so that we may grow our cut-flower, honey, and vegetable business.

Our scenic campground sits in a wooded area overlooking a meadow that slopes down to a small, year-round creek. Enjoy sunrise and sunset views for much of the year, along with frequent sightings of deer, turkeys, Canadian geese, and mallard ducks—despite being just minutes from the city.
The campground borders an active railroad line. While trains pass only 1–2 times a day, they have no reason to sound their horns. Please do not approach the tracks as there are no fences, and trespassing is strictly prohibited.
Each site includes a 12' x 12' raised tent deck with 1/4" board gaps for securing stakes. Parking for one vehicle is available at each site, with overflow parking just a few hundred feet away. A large fire ring with stump seating is provided at each site.
Amenities include a portable toilet, a central water hydrant, safety lighting, and clearly marked parking and campsite areas to help with nighttime navigation.
In May and June, fireflies light up the trees and meadow. On clear nights, the train embankment blocks city lights, revealing a brilliant night sky. A historic cemetery dating to before the American Revolution is also located on the property.
We are in Tennessee, and poison ivy is present—please learn to identify and avoid it. Our family is allergic and actively working to remove it from the grounds.
Dining and shopping are just a 10-minute walk away, with nearby options including Kickback Jacks, Aubrey’s, Maple Street Biscuit Company, Rendezvous Cafe, Buffalo Wild Wings, Ming’s Asian Cuisine, Wahaca Mexican Kitchen, Sully’s Steamers, and Rio De Brazil. This space has been so beautifully and thoughtfully designed and very well kept. The peace and tranquility of the area were wonderful, the views were spectacular. I absolutely love this campsite! So private and quiet. Janet and Matthew are the most incredible hosts ever. Janet always greets you with a vase of flowers. They are quick to respond if you need anything but are totally unobtrusive otherwise. If you'd like to get away from everything, this is the place to be!

The space was so well maintained. With only 2 spots and spread out we felt very secluded and private. We loved the campfire ring on the back of the space under the tree cover. We did have a problem getting our camper up the entrance hill but they were great, got a tractor and pulled us up! Talk about service! They have trails on their lot but we headed out to Stone Mountain and Roaring River Vineyard for the day - would recommend both. We would definitely come back…once we have a better truck 😊

A Hipcamp gem that we will definitely be back to! There were multiple flat spots available for tent camping with a group and two large fire pits. The site was extremely quiet and close to Grayson Highlands. You can easily beat the weekend crowds with the short commute up to the state park. An awesome perk! There is also a beautiful creek running through (which was a hit with our dogs) and the site is tree covered which helps protect from windy tent camping nights. We loved our time at this site and was a great nature reset.
