We have sheep, pigs and a donkey rotating through pastures behind electric fencing. Take a walk to say hello, but don't touch the fence! We also have 3 very friendly farm cats.
Pork and lamb from our farm (as well as kiln-dried firewood) is available for purchase at our farm store.

On arrival you'll come down our curvy driveway through the trees, and see our event barn on the left. To the barn's side is a communal space for campers to enjoy with a great view. This area has a wood-fired grill and farm table, with a handwashing station out front. The shared outhouse/composting toilet is next to the pine stand with a white roof.
We have sheep, pigs and a donkey rotating through pastures behind electric fencing. Take a walk to say hello, but don't touch the fence! We also have 3 very friendly farm cats.
Pork and lamb from our farm (as well as kiln-dried firewood) is available for purchase at our farm store.

I was with a small group. We booked several sites and had the whole camp for our group. We had a great time. We gathered around the campfire to share stories and beverages. My tent vestibule faced the water. It was wonderful view to wake up to.
Lillington was a short drive to pick up supplies and eat at a diner.
Host Sean was friendly and came to visit and share his story.
Our group will probably make this and annual destination.

I loved staying at this property! Wes and his wife are wonderful hosts and the farm is beautiful. There are a lot of animals there and I got to see the baby lambs. There’s no noise as there was plenty of distance between you and them. The only thing I heard was the geese and crickets. Wes’s directions were clear. It was a wonderful experience..

We loved the unique experience of camping in the middle of a grove of pine trees! There is a clearing that is more than large enough for us to park our camper van. We set up chairs around the fire pit and had a beautiful sunset view. There is another campsite in a different part of the property, but there was plenty of space and privacy from all the pine trees so we didn't even hear the other group.
The pine needles all over the ground made for a lovely ground cover that was soft on our dog's paws. Next time I would like to explore more of the trails all over the property. Overall, this is a really peaceful space yet super convenient to Chapel Hill and Durham.

Fantastic, just what we were looking. Secluded and private is the key words. I don’t think we saw anyone else the whole stay. I did talk to Bekah once on the phone who was very friendly. Now make no mistake. The campsite offers nothing but open land and tranquility. Town is about 15 minutes away, but take in what you need as there is no hookups of any kind which we knew going in.
