3.5 acre property, last remaining part of old inlet horse farm, with plenty of natural buffers from the few neighbors in our vicinity and between our camp sites, as well as the road. So close to everything the inlet area has to offer. Beaches, tidal inlet with boat ramps, Waccamaw River with boat ramps, restaurants, shops, bars, State Parks, nature preserves, fun attractions and much, much more, all just moments away. We are set up as a “primitive” camping experience, the property is kept very natural, unmanicured for the most part, little to no herbicides or insecticides used here. It’s a work in progress, is difficult for me to tackle chores due to physical disabilities, so some private areas are disorganized at this time. I live here full time, with two cats & 5 chickens whom are all free range.
I live here in a double wide by myself, two outdoor cats. Deer, fox, rabbits, hawks and the like are common visitors. This is brand new to me, lots of improvements to be made in the future to make a guests stay even better, so for right now it’s bare bones. Can accommodate tents or certain campers. No pump out, no electricity or running water for “sites” yet, if ever, but running water is here and available for free.
Additions to come soon: outdoor shower, available compost toilet available for rent while here, fresh herbs, vegetables, fresh local eggs, firewood, and covered gathering/ cooking area (not built yet) and much more, I’m really excited. Open to idea’s and options. No fireworks/ gunfire allowed at anytime, no “parties”, but gatherings, campfires, games and fun always welcome.
I prefer meeting guests apon arrival to answer any questions and help all feel comfortable. I do have medical conditions that may prohibit it at times though.

I came here in early November and wound up extending my stay twice because we enjoyed it so much. Connie and Jeff have a beautiful well maintained piece of property with plenty of level ground for the camper. There were several trails I explored with my pets and plenty of wood for fires at night. Plus only a 15 minute drive to the beach. It felt very private and safe the whole time I was there. I hope to be back someday!

he was extremely considerate from the moment we pulled in, he even had treats and a ball ready for our pups
the spot is tucked behind on his land and could adjust to small/big families and had everything we needed for tent camping (plus more) and he even surprised us with eggs from his chicken to cook for breakfast.
the area is both away from the hustle and bustle but also close enough to the beach and food.
overall, super generous man who we can tell loves company, we could have sat and talked to him for hours but unfortunately we were short on time, thanks for everything you did for us, scott!!

Jane showed above-and-beyond kindness and made sure I had everything I needed, and even some special touches -for my special occasion trip- that I would never have thought of or expected. Her space is super laidback and “personal.” The platform was easily accessible to get to and from my car, really clean and comfortable, with a really great view and places to relax!

Jane is a wonderful host and makes you feel very welcome on her land. We booked the honey house and pavilion with a big group and had the best time. There is great water access and although the camp sites are close together and near residents, there is great wood cover which maintains privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would recommend good bug spray and battery powered fans!

Jane was a lovely and welcoming host! She made sure that we had everything we needed. Even though we booked the Honey house, we preferred camping on the grassy area by the ICW, so she was totally ok with the change! We saw the almost full moon rise over the water and saw a gorgeous sunrise the next morning.

Scott was very hospitable, despite us checking in very late due to bad weather on the road he was there to greet us and show us the spot.
He kindly offered for BBQ, and even surprised us with some fresh watermelon.
The campsite is very close to town, Walmart, gas stations, the beach, though being in a secluded spot.
**Make sure to bring mosquito repellent.

I absolutely can’t give enough praise for Jane’s hospitality and for the space itself. This is a kayaker’s dream spot for accessing inner waterways & secluded beaches. Plus you’re 10 minutes’ drive from shops and a 5 minute walk from a delicious restaurant. It’s such a peaceful haven — I spent a lotta time in the hammock watching birds and reading.
