Though we are not far from the city, nature definitely is the main character around here. The waterway is brackish (salt and fresh) so there is a wide array of wildlife to enjoy. Bald eagles and heron fly over daily and we often see otters, foxes and raccoons and birds galore. Guests have access to kayaks and dock (2 story) for fishing and/or relaxing. Water views from any spot on the property. We also have two friendly dogs that would love to meet you.

The space **Our cottage offers sleeping accommodations in the form of 1 queen sized pull out sofa bed in the living room, Queen sized bed in the bedroom and a twin pull out sofa bed in the bedroom with room for a pack n play if needed. Thank you!** Our Historic expansive 30+ acre property offers pastoral views and sounds of farm life with two accommodations (check out our bungalow). The cottage has one bedroom with a queen sized bed and freshly clean sheets, full bathroom, tiled walk-in shower, kitchen with refrigerator, stove top oven, microwave, coffee maker, hot water kettle, blender, toaster, and four complete setting of plates glasses, cups and silver flatware, and all cooking utensils and pots and pans. Great natural lighting in every room as well as french doors throughout. The expansive front porch has two ceiling fans and wicker furniture for sitting. Say hello to our animals-We are home to many exotic chickens, ducks, Pygmy goats, dairy goats, mini pigs, horses and many Great Pyrenees. Guest access: Free parking right beside the unit. If you need boat, RV or Trailer parking there is space for that as well. Please note: check in time is 3pm, check out time is 10am. We do not offer early check in or late check out. We have Starlink WIFI. If you require consistent internet access -please be aware-our internet can be spotty/dependent upon weather conditions that are outside of our control-we are in a rural area and we love it! There is a plaque on the bedside table where the server name and password are written. The thermostat is located behind the bedroom door. It’s a normal, modern Carrier HVAC unit installed Oct. 2022; it’s easy to adjust temperature up or down using the two arrow buttons.
