Weekend Trip to Ruby Ranch

I had a wonderful time tent camping at Ruby Ranch. I saw 2 out of 3 of the sites, both were pretty spacious and had trees for hammocks and easy access to the creek. You can pull your car right up to the sites to unload. The location is nearby to plenty of restaurants and hiking trails. I will be coming back again my next visit. My only complaints are the slight smell of horse manure, but it was not overbearing, and a lightly trafficked road right across the creek. For the price point and location, it is very easy to overlook the nit picky details! All around 10/10

Weekend Trip to Turkey Creek Oasis~valley views

My sister and I car-camped on Reid’s land, and it was awesome! We parked down by the creek, and it was so peaceful. The WiFi worked well for us, and everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

3 nights at Honeysuckle Springs Smoky Mountains

Pros- This place is peaceful. The view was mesmerizing. We really enjoy the pop up camper. The hosts were super responsive. They provided us with everything we needed to get to the site. The best part is that they have WIFI. Cons- Camp sites were way too close to each other. It was hard for us to turn on our music enough for all us to hear. All of our concentration was focused on trying to not be too loud. Since we didn’t want to disturb our neighboring sites. For those of you, who like the idea of Meet and Greet while enjoying the beautiful nature view, then this place is for you. The bathroom was super clean. It was good opportunity to get few steps in lol. But it was a little far to walk down in the middle of the night.

3 nights at Coweeta Creek Campground

Melissa and Adam have a little slice of heaven at their Coweeta Creek Campground! Our Premium Campsite #1 was right by the creek and with plenty of space between us and site #2. Trees, bushes, and hostas keep the landscape natural feeling. And our dog loved playing in the water! Neighbors are a good distance away, which helps you feel like you're away from it all. The site had great access to wi-fi, power, and water as stated in the description. We only wish we could have stayed there longer.

Weekend Trip to Appalachian Pond Campground

Although I only stayed one evening, I absolutely loved my spot at site #3 (actually #4). Motorcycle camping, coming from Florida this was just beautiful site on a hillside with a small creek below and hsd a sunset view of the mountains. John was able to go out and pick up some firewood for me, which was amazing. Extremely friendly and wholesome people, I would be happy to visit again. The gravel road up to the tent sites is a bit steep, but I had no issue traversing it on my street bike with saddle bags in the dry environment. Thank you again, guys!

This is my second time coming here. We absolutely love Kimber and her animals. Her donkey Abby is my favorite, she yells at us over the fence when she sees me demanding pets and will follow me around like a dog. I will always stop back anytime we are in Tennessee.

Very pretty sure with a stream flowing at the bottom of the camping area. The upper site, Peace Park, is a bit hard to level but managed it. The showers and actual flush toilets were much appreciated.

We had a great stay at the Barnhill Mountain campsite! The place was peaceful and perfect for a little getaway. One of our favorite parts was making s’mores by the fire—everything we needed was included in the package, which was a really nice touch. The host was super communicative and helpful from the moment we booked. Definitely recommend!

Once you are at the campground you won't want to leave the beauty of the creek! Strong Wifi is available at all sites. Network password will be provided before arrival. Property History: Coweeta Creek Campground WAS a 20 site, thriving, family/church oriented campground from the 1970's that was later sold, then neglected. I sleep a lot on the day bed in the living room so the Sawmill can be comfortably rented for up to 4 guests. The outhouse is a thing of the past, just recently I installed a compositing toilet besides the bedroom.We also offer The Summit which is a high elevation, 2-story cabin surrounded by national forest which has evolved into an off-grid living and play space located at nearly 3300 feet elevation on a 1/2 acre flat with an incredible view. There are very private old forest service trails leading directly into the Pisgah National Forest.

It is typically not an issue until mid-July and August. If you need additional details, please contact me. There are two homes near the camp site. The one behind the site is our home. Just me and my wife, currently no pets. The other home is a small white farmhouse that I currently rent to close friends. Chris and his wife and two well behaved kids. The kind of neighbors' people dream of! In five years of renting this site I have only had one couple that felt uncomfortable with the homes on our driveway.
