This is my second time coming here. We absolutely love Kimber and her animals. Her donkey Abby is my favorite, she yells at us over the fence when she sees me demanding pets and will follow me around like a dog. I will always stop back anytime we are in Tennessee.

Very pretty sure with a stream flowing at the bottom of the camping area. The upper site, Peace Park, is a bit hard to level but managed it. The showers and actual flush toilets were much appreciated.

Cute and quaint! Close to downtown but cozy and homey. I really loved this spot's vibe and the communal feeling to the space. Very laid back.

Owners make it easy to camp here at Harmony Farms. They helped me to solve a problem. I will provide this review and referrals based on that. I am grateful to them for the fresh brewed coffee and consider myself very fortunate to have been able to stay here. Horses live here and guided trail rides are a possibilty. Be humble, nice, prayerful, respectful and thankful and watch what happens. You'll be amazed, maybe like I was amazed at Harmony Farms.

3 nights at Twin Valley Horse Ranch

Where to begin? Our whole experience was just amazing!! Janice is an amazing host that gives you all info upfront and what you can expect and what she expects from you! I took myself and my 3 littles ages 8,5,and 3 we stayed from wed and left sat! Well I tell you my kids loved it I mean they cried when it was time to leave and already want to book it again! The animals are so friendly they loved playing and help take care of them 2 a day! We did the mini workshop and the horse workshop and the 2 oldest learned so much and had a blast! Ms.Jayden and ms. Janice are wonderful and patient. The kids fished and caught 6 blue gill to which I cleaned and cooked and ate! The views from the primitive cabin are amazing! It is exactly as described so I HIGHLY recommend backing light! There is a hike but so worth it! My kids are electronic kids(as are most) but never asked for them never cried for TV or power there is so much to do and wore them out each day! I highly recommend getting back to the basics it truly is an amazing experience! Thank you Ms. Janice for opening your ranch! Thank you Ms. Jayden for how wonderful you are with littles and sharing your knowledge and teaching them about horses and how to ride! Thank you both for your patients in letting them help feed twice a day they will forever cherish our time there and haven't stopped talking about it to everybody that will listen! We can't wait to come back!

Gary was very nice and accommodating. The space heater kept me pretty warm all night and the TV with wifi was a welcomed addition after a few days on the road. Really close to downtown and plenty of shops.

This no ordinary campground. Pause is an adventure that will feel like you are exploring your own private mountain nature reserve. Aramesh is 120 acres of Blue Ridge heaven with something for every wilderness adventure seeker: unmatched mountain views, lush old growth forests, babbling brooks, and miles of trails for all skill levels. The property starts at 3700 ft altitude, with summit at 4500 ft on the Glades mountain ridge. We have only a few campsites on the vast property, so the wind in the trees and birds will be all you hear. Come and stay with us and be renewed! IMPORTANT: 4WD or AWD is required to access our property. There is a sometimes steep and windy gravel road into Pause. Please make sure your vehicle has 4WD or AWD before you book. Campsites: They are 3/4-1/4 mile from the entrance. Some are accessible by 4WD. There may be some vigorous hiking involved, but the views are worth it. The pads are various sizes. Let us know what the needs of your party are and we can help you choose from the available spots. We also have several more remote “off-menu” sites for those seeking a backpacking adventure - ask for more information if your are interested. Hiking: There are several miles of trails on the property. They range from an easy slope to very strenuous. The entire property is fenced so you won't easily get lost. Your climbing efforts will be amply rewarded by stunning views, especially at sunset. Trail maps are available upon request. On-Site Amenities: we provide a clean porta-potty and running water that is spring fed. We ask that you follow "Leave-No-Trace" procedures during your stay. Off-Site Amenities: If you choose to explore the area : we are a 10 minute drive from I-40 Exit 24. Asheville is 45 minutes away; Waynesville is 25 minutes away. Presnell's Grocery (highly recommended, family-owned store that sells locally farmed products) is 10 minutes away from the property entrance. The Ingles supermarket in Canton is a 15 minute drive. You will find every kind of fast food in that area. There are also several excellent local dining options in Canton, Clyde, and Waynesville which we are happy to recommend to you by request.

Greenbrier Tn. one of the first settlements here in the National park is only a scenic 30 minute scenic drive from the farm which will takes you through the arts and crafts community while avoiding the hectic hustle and bustle of town . While visiting Greenbrier you can find a picnic area near the river and an outdoor pavilion with a large grill for your special events located there . Several trail heads are located there in the Greenbrier community including Brushy Mountain trail Old settlers trail (several old settlements can easily be found here) Porters Gap trail. There are too many local attractions to list within 15 to 25 minute drive , from horseback riding . tubing, rafting , smoky mountain gravity park to shopping outlet malls . READ !! Be sure to check mypigeonforge.com , pigeonforge.com or gatlinburg.com to find all the local special events calenders as there is at times ALOT of heavy traffic you may not be prepared for . You're welcome . Discounted rides at local riding stables upon request depending on availability . We do have sites set up for you or you may prefer to pack your gear out to create your own site in a more secluded areas of the farm . There are many private areas along the creek side for your primitive camp on our 80 acre horse farm. Hike to the back of the farm to watch a sunset over the horse field or down by the stream . Lots of wildlife and scenery at the farm . You will find the laundromat and food venues just minutes away. you can still feel off grid with just a short stroll by the stream that babbles along throughout the 80 acres you will be able to make your playground while visiting the Harmony Farm. You can even hike to the outdoor chapel with the pretty view of the Chilhowee Mountain range. Him & our mom settled in Haywood County, NC & built their own log cabin & started raising bison. Then, myself, 3 siblings & our spouses purchases the 40 acres behind my folks 18 acres when it came up for sale. We decided to build a cabin & then we started rented it out in 2007. Now, we currently have 6 cabins & 2 train cabooses for rent. We love living in God's country & raising the bison along w/ a bunch other farm animals. We love hosting guest on our property & decided after many calls asking if we allow camping, to include a few lucky folks to camp at Buffalo Creek.
