Eden Oaks Vineyard & Campground was a tobacco farm (antique tobacco barn still on property). The house was built in 1910 and has been updated. We purchased it in 2014 and converted it into a vineyard. We have RV sites with 50 amp and 30 amp electric hookups and water, and tents sites. For 2023 our rates are $30/night for RV Sites (50 amp or 30 amp electric hookups and water) and $25/night for Tent Sites. Tent sites do not have electricity or water hookups, but water is available at the well. (Due to inflation, 2024 our rates will be $30/night for RV Sites, $25/night for Tent Sites.) We do not have a dump station, but we do have a Port A John and a list of dump stations nearby. Campfires are allowed unless we have a state issued burning ban. Campers are responsible for controlling and extinguishing fires. Please be extremely careful during dry or drought conditions. Conveniently located one mile from Hwy 421 but remote and peaceful with plenty of room to roam on our 22 acres with grapevines, fruit trees, forest, creeks, fields, goats, Beagle and Jackabee (Beagle/Jack Russell) dogs, cows, chickens, ducks and goats. Also, we have wildlife such as birds, squirrels, groundhogs, deer, raccoons, opossums, etc. We are about 15 miles from Wilkesboro and North Wilkesboro (home of the Merle Fest and Apple Festival). From any area you camp🏕 the pond🏞, with fish, is in walking distance, so is a beautiful clear stream. ****Did I mention that this stream empties into Lake Tillary, yep, that is right. We are within walking distance to Lake Tillary and less than 5 mins to the boat landing. You may bring your boat and park it here while you camp. SPECIAL NOTE: There are animals here that you may pet once you have been properly introduced. You may bring your pets as long as they are vaccinated and behaved. If they fight with other animals or chase chickens or ducks you may want to test this upon your arrival. Unfortunately, you must keep them on leash at all times. Our County does have a leash law, and should property🌱🌹🌻🚜🚗📬🗑or animals🦌🐂🐏🐐🐰🦃🦆 be damaged or harmed you will be held responsible. For example, if your dog kills a chicken, you buy the chicken🐓🐔🐥. SPECIAL FEATURE: As I am just beginning the camp on site experience I offer several options and additional services. #1. Some find out after arriving that I teach NC Concealed Carry Handgun Classes. If you wish to participate in a class, it is preferred that you register before the day of the class. I will post classes on this site so that campers will know there will be shooting in the late afternoon. Some chose to camp on other weekends, some choose to go out to eat during those times, and some don't mind either way. #2. I am also much in favor of work for camp site. Some have asked to do clean up or other small jobs for the priviledge to camp. So far this has worked out well, with one exception. Please do not accept an offer to take on a task that you do not know how to do. Example, pulling weeds or trimming if you do not know what a weed verses flower looks like. LOL #3. There is plenty of firewood, see photos, here laying around and some trees down that will make great firewood (bring your own cutting tools.) We also sell firewood by the bundle. #4. No! the roosters don't have an off button, neither does the jacka... donkey! When it is hay cutting time, we will cut hay. If you want to hike the property, feel free, know the boundaries and bring a machete to cut your way by the creek/stream in some areas. We have thistle trees and briars, you are welcome to cut all you wish as you go. There are spiders, bugs, and snakes etc. Black snakes, king snakes, runners, and whip snakes belong here and we ask that you do not kill them. Copperheads are here as qell and if you see one, come get me and I will dispatch it for you. .

Reserve your spot now! *************************************************************************************** Our farm is an agritourism/sheep farm that offers seasonal events, educational workshops, a petting zoo, Bed and Breakfast, farm store, and camping area! We are a working farm during the week but we allow campers to park on weekends or weekdays. The price is the same except the petting zoo and farm store are only open on weekends. We don't have hookups, so bring a generator if you need it. If you need to fill up your RV water tank, we charge $10. Each of the 3 sites has a fire ring and picnic table. We have sheep, donkeys, chickens, ducks, rabbits, turkeys, guinea pigs and geese!   While we are dog-friendly, we do not allow dogs closer to the petting zoo area. We offer a 1+ acre fenced in area next to the camping sites where you can allow your dogs off-leash. No extra charge. Our camping area is a large grassy field that will accommodate multiple tent campers, travel trailers, and RVs under 30' with room to turn around, stake your area, and not feel crowded. There is also 1 regularly maintained porta potty located in this area.

Lois and Mike's spot was just as described!!!! The view is gorgeous! We couldn't believe how big the spot was, and we had it all to ourselves! The sunsets were beautiful and the star gazing was incredible. We had a clear night both nights and the stars were all out!!! We are already trying to plan another trip. I really enjoyed being at Paul’s. His property is pristine. It’s beautiful, quiet, and secluded. Paul himself is generous and great company! I was only looking for a layover spot but after my stay this will definitely be one of my future stops. Paul even gave a tour of his own home; an old church he restored himself. 12/10 stay!

The campsite was in a lovely wooded area not too close to the house ( which is actually an old church that Paul converted into a home). Only a few minutes from historic Gold Hill. Paul, our host was really friendly. Greeted us when we arrived and gave us local eatery tips. His dogs were friendly too! If we come back to the area, we'll definitely stay here again.

I love this farm space and Rebecca who runs it. I rented the pine run site. Spacious and comfortable. Walks around the farms are beautiful feeding a friendly horse and saying hi to the goats and chickens. Rebecca offers breakfasts st a reasonable fee but i missed that during my second visit here. You cant miss out on visiting here.

The Rocky Knoll is a beautiful little spot with an amazing view! Easy to access with additional seating provided, a lovely fire pit, and a well leveled tent pad. My dogs and I had a great time and the hosts were amazing! My battery ended up dying in my car the second night and they quickly helped me resolve the issue. I can’t wait to go back when it gets warm again. Thank you both so much!

Had a quick 1 night stay, last minute trip. Had a quick response to accept our reservation. Site 4 was perfect, easy to access, power and water on site. Great for our Sylvan GO popup. Roy greeted us on arrival and showed us around. He brought a nice size stack of firewood. He also borrowed us a 30A -> 110 adapter so we could plug an extension cord in. We enjoyed the visit in the morning from the donkey and cows. Beautiful property, great hosts, we'll stop back next year.

I stayed at The Love Shack this weekend and had a wonderful experience. Wendy was a wonderful host—thoughtful, welcoming, and clearly dedicated to creating a beautiful space for her guests. She even cleared the leaves off the trail before I arrived, which made for such a lovely walk through the woods. I spotted a deer along the way which was nice. The A-frame shelter was cozy and warm. I enjoyed the most relaxing nap in the hammock. I highly recommend!

Excellent site! The view is very nice, it's laid out well. They have a lot of accommodations there that were nice to see for people that come less-prepared. the view is very nice and it is a nice cozy place! The "poop shed" is also, really nice. It's not just a port-a-john, they put proper care and attention into making it enjoyable to use! Will almost certainly be booking again in the future!
