This spot was a refreshing place to stop and rest during our long journey North. The fields were pretty, the bathroom was clean and the sites were surrounded by a well kept lawn. We will return!

My husband and I stayed 3 nights for the second time there with our A-liner. The campsites are nestled under loblolly pine trees and beautifully manicured property. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating and respected our privacy. We will be staying here regularly as it is a perfect, quiet place to enjoy nature and a respite from our busy schedules.

Easy to find, easy to park at, convenient to I-95, safe, clean, and so many extras! There are even well marked trails (with colored blazes!) running throughout the property. Great signage throughout the property, but the signage is tastefully done and not intrusive to the overall camping esthetic. The hosts are fantastic- quick and clear communicators. They engage as much or as little as you want. As noted in the HipCamp listing, the cellular service for AT&T is sketchy at best. I could not set up an AT&T hotspot, but did manage to get a few emails out and a few SMS messages out. The HipCamp app would not connect due to the poor AT&T service. The hosts offer a WiFi package …. I did not take advantage of this, but if you are on AT&T and need connectivity, I would go for the WiFi addon. This trip was only an overnight stay for me on a south bound journey, but I would like to come back and stay a few days. It is clear that Mike and Scott know exactly what a HipCamper would need for a stay. Thank you Mike and Scott!!!

7 nights at Double L Farms RV Park, LLC

The host (Lisa) met us as we were pulling in during a downpour of rain and escorted us to our site. They were more than willing to help us set up. The sites are easy to get into even with a 41’ fifth wheel. The sites are very generous in size with nice views of the horses roaming in the pasture. We went to the little farm fresh market on the property and truly enjoyed the beef and pork we purchased. You can’t go wrong staying here!

Weekend Trip to Double L Farms RV Park, LLC

We were looking for a place en route back north. Very convenient to I-95. Lisa & Brian were so friendly & let us borrow converter for 50 to 30 amp so that we could camp at the end spot near the horses. The pony in the pasture was adorable! We spent a nice quiet evening getting good rest. Thank you Lisa & Brian :)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Cedar Creek Campsites: Site 06, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! Michael the host made me feel welcome from the start. The campsite itself is a hidden gem, providing a quite and peaceful environment away from town. It was the perfect escape to unwind and reconnect with nature. The quiet surroundings allowed me to truly relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Overall, my stay at Cedar Creek was fantastic. If you’re looking for a charming spot to camp, with a welcoming host and a peaceful atmosphere, this is the place for you. I can’t wait to return!

Great campsite, very welcoming host, good hiking trail for short walks, friendly farm animals nearby with enough separation you hardly notice them unless you want to go say hi to the animals. Overall great place to be with a short drive to either Raeford or Aberdeen.

Camp was as described. Upon arrival I met Mike, a personable and accommodating super-host. Location;Very private. Road noise; minimal. slept very well the nights I stayed. Directions were easy to follow. Michael was quick to reply to any texting/questions. AT&T signal: 1&2bars 5g, (2 bars LTE), was capable to stream/work online. solo female camper; I felt safe here. Thank you for sharing your property and creating such a wonderful campground Mike & Scott.

I knew I would be passing thru and in late. Though my reservation came in just a few hours before arriving, I was able to quickly make contact with Carla. We maintained great communication. The land was well maintained, the pond was beautiful (huge catfish), specious, and quiet. Sweet folks, perfectly located, I’ll be stopping in again.
