We are located in southeast NC, approximately 15-20 miles from area beaches. Our location is very "country" with lots of wildlife (deer, fox, rabbits, birds, etc...) roaming about. It is very quiet in the evenings and overnight. The campsite has a large paver stone patio and picnic table. We have a fire pit and when able we would be happy to host a night around the fire. We are pet friendly but request that dogs be on a leash or tie-out. We expect guests to pickup pet "litter".
Campers are encouraged to use the swing and chairs set back under the pines. Also campers will find a guest book in the little library under the pine tree with a concrete bench nearby (you drive around in as you pull into the campsite). The book contains our WiFi password (service not guaranteed). Please leave us a note about your stay.

104 acres of private land for your enjoyment. This site would be best suited for tent campers at the moment due to no bath houses or electricity for the time being. Come enjoy your stay bring a kayak or canoe and float around the 6 acres of ponds and catch some of the many bass, bream or crappie that occupy the waters. The property is located 7 miles off highway 74/76 in Whiteville and 10 miles to Lake Waccamaw, 32 miles to Ocean Isle Beach, 45 miles to Wilmington, 36 miles to North Myrtle Beach. The road is gravel all the way to the camping area with signs for directions. When there’s no burn ban in place or lack of rain i do try to keep firewood on-site but I recommend checking with me before your stay. Small propane heaters are available for each shelter. The first 1gallon bottle off propane is free with your stay. it will last 5-7 hrs. each additional bottles will cast $6.00 per bottle. There is also solar, powered lights, usb charging stations, fans, and air coolers. each Conestego hut has a locking front door to keep your belongings safe

I car camped while traveling through and I enjoyed it for the most part. I brought my dog with me and my dog and the host dog enjoyed playing together but once it was time to sleep the host dog would bark at my car in the middle of the night. The host dog also was taking my dogs food & bones and constantly growled when trying to move my dogs food bowls. The dog was very friendly other than that but the barking was excessive especially in the middle of the night. The dog also was jumping up on my car scratching it with his nails. That was a little frustrating. The area is very nice and felt very safe as a solo camper.

James and Sola were amazing host. I was able to tour the farm, hold a baby goat, pet the horse, and heard the rooster crow. What an awesome experience for me! I learned so much about the animals and farming while there. Also, close enough to lots of attractions and beautiful evening sky's. While your there take a walk back to Loki's Lookout!

My new favorite get away spot. The host cannot be more welcoming. Clean, safe, beautiful views, and great fishing. My kids also love it so thats a plus. Couldn't ask for a better camping spot. Thanks for sharing this beautiful property with us.

Weekend Trip to A-Frame glamping w/opening wall
Beautiful, quiet spot. It was rainy the day I stayed and the rain sounds on the cabin was so serene and peaceful. Directions and getting to the property were superb. My bestie said I was sleeping in a chicken coop and i replied bock bock! 10/10 would do again.
