My farm had been untouched for years and only used as hay farming. It is rolling hills known by the locals as "Butterfly Hill" Which the farm is home to many species of butterflies in the summer. I know the area was inhabited by native Americans many decades ago. I have found a few broken arrow heads over the years. The farm is beautiful and quiet.

Sparkroot is a gathering place with permaculture gardens and growing food forest orchard.

We invite campers to enjoy our land, tiny cabin and funky, post-apocaMythic Airstream. We are located atop a hill surrounded by a woodland grove of ancient oaks.  You are welcome to explore and make yourselves at home amongst the forest and gardens, as you listen to the owls hoot to each other at night under the stars.

R.O.S.A. Land Campground

R.O.S.A. Land stands for Rare Occaneechi Saponi Alluvial Land-based retreat and campground offering individuals and small groups a place for rest, exploration, sanctuary, and grounding. Equal parts woodland, floodplain wetland and pastureland, R.O.S.A land is stewarding 23 acres of ecological magical oasis on a tributary of the Upper Tar River in an Aquatic Habitat deemed an important NC Natural Heritage area of the Piedmont of North Carolina.  Rare mussel species and amphibians live here.  Come see for yourself! 

This is a queer-stewarded rematriation project. This land is co-owned by MK of Handewa Farms and K Cox, Steward of the Respite and will be passed on to her seven children, farm family of land partners, Handewa Farms. 

We offer nature-based immersion for artists, healers, cultural and frontline organizers and their families taking time for restful resistance.

It is a triptyech of woods, water and pastureland butting up against an untouched wild old hardwood forest - a combination unlikley found in the PIedmont- nestled among small tobacco, horse and hay farms in the Southeast corner of Granville County between Oxford and Roxboro in the beautiful PIedmont of North Carolina.

Carolina Christian Campus

This land has a special place in the hearts of many people in this area. For 49 years this property has been home to Carolina Christian Academy. This Christian school has served this county and it's residence faithfully for many decades. The property that it sits on is a secluded private piece of property that is quiet and peaceful. From it's inception. Carolina Christian Academy has been about helping parents and families educate their children. Opening our property up to you is no different. There are rolling hills with knolls and fairway-like views you might find on a golf course. There are deep woods with a small creek where one might "rough it". And there are several really nice shady spots under large hardwood trees to set up a tent or RV. There are paved camp sites with water, sewer and electric like you might find at a KOA.  There is a bathhouse and a bunk house.....We pretty much have it all. Come check it out! 

Thomasville, NC is just around the corner and is home to some neat attractions.

Container Experience

I purchased a 1960's ranch home and 4 acres over 5 years ago.  I turned the home into The Fab 4 House, furnishing it with authentic Mid-century Modern furniture and naming each bedroom for 1 of the Beatles.  I rent it out and it is great for events.  However, I needed 1 bedroom accommodations so I purchased 3- 8'x40' shipping containers and turned them into tiny homes.  You can rent 1 or all 3.  The courtyard in the middle features a Tiki Bar, Beach Scene, Putting Green.  I want people to enjoy the in and outside together.

Ross Farm

We have a 75 acre family farm which includes a 21 acre private lake. This land is our peaceful paradise and we are excited to share it with our guests. Learn more about this land:Enjoy staying in this camper next to our 21 acre private lake on a 75 acre farm. There is a hiking/biking trail approximately 1mile long that goes around the lake. Campers are able to fish, swim, and boat/kayak/paddle board on the lake. A beach area with a picnic shelter is open to guests. A boat ramp for small boats (no wake) is also available. Pets are welcome. Located in Reidsville, NC.  Convenient to Burlington and Greensboro, NC and Danville, VA.
