Your climbing efforts will be amply rewarded by stunning views, especially at sunset. Trail maps are available upon request. On-Site Amenities: we provide a clean porta-potty and running water that is spring fed. We ask that you follow "Leave-No-Trace" procedures during your stay. Off-Site Amenities: If you choose to explore the area : we are a 10 minute drive from I-40 Exit 24. Asheville is 45 minutes away; Waynesville is 25 minutes away. Presnell's Grocery (highly recommended, family-owned store that sells locally farmed products) is 10 minutes away from the property entrance. The Ingles supermarket in Canton is a 15 minute drive. You will find every kind of fast food in that area. There are also several excellent local dining options in Canton, Clyde, and Waynesville which we are happy to recommend to you by request.

Weekend Trip to Peace Of Pisgah

My pup and I stayed in the uber-comfy site 3 tent by the creek. There's a little bench where I sat and crocheted until dusk and we slept so soundly in the bed. Woke up early and hiked Vicki's suggested Moore's Cove and it was perfect. Vicki and Brian were super friendly and greeted us with literal open arms. Will stay again!

The Knoll offers loads of space and views of the river and pastures. Easy in and out too!

I had the most amazing stay at this Hipcamp site. From the moment I arrived, I could tell how much care and intention goes into maintaining the property. Everything was incredibly clean and well kept, and the views were absolutely beautiful peaceful, open, and exactly what my soul needed. The hosts were so kind and welcoming. You can really feel that they care about their guests’ experience. I especially appreciated how safe I felt the entire time. As someone who enjoys camping alone, that meant everything to me. It was the perfect getaway to unplug, breathe, and reset. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with stunning views and thoughtful hosts, this is it. I will absolutely be back. 🌿✨

Everything was perfect! Peter and his wife were so welcoming. They gave us excellent recommendations, and were so accommodating. Molly was so funny too. Love to see them again! Amazing views. Best view is from one of the bedrooms. It's basically a home away from home. A beautiful place for our first trip together. Bring dog treats. They have plenty of blankets for the winter temperatures!

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! We had an amazing time. Amy was amazing and so kind. The animals were friendly. We camped right next to them and they were quiet. Everything was clean and the owner outdid herself with the decorations. Everywhere you turned there was a different whimsical item. We will definitely be going back. My only wish was there was a bathroom closer to where you park the RVs. It’s super close to the cabins though.

We had a great time here at one of the river side camps! Sites are large enough for a big group and Andrew was a fantastic host! Very well kept site. Be sure to check out his mountain top sites also if you are looking for a view. We plan to come back soon and stay at one of those. Very remote (45 min to nearest gas station/stores) so plan accordingly. Direct access to FSR into national forest. Can’t wait to return!

This was an incredible experience for my wife and I! The site we landed on had the most amazing views we could have asked for. Secluded, quiet, and serene are the best words I could use to describe this site. It is definitely off the beaten path, so be prepared for the 5 miles of gravel road leading to the campsite. Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed hiking beside the river and playing on the rocks. A perfect way to reset and start the new year!
