Weekend Trip to Little River Hideaway

Loved our stay with our little camper and two dogs. It was nice and clean. The raised porch was perfect us to place our 12x12 canopy over to escape from the rain and sun. Nice groomed trail down to a private water spot on the river. We will def be back!

We absolutely loved every minute of our stay at Cherokee Waterfall Campground!! Richard was an excellent host who was very communicative, helpful, & kind. The waterfall site is now our FAVORITE campsite of all time (& we’ve stayed at many sites, including several waterfall sites over the years)! It’s too bad we live so far away or we’d be regulars. The lounge chairs were comfy, the bundle of wood purchased was large, and having a hot shower was exactly what we needed after spending the previous couple days exploring Great Smoky National Park. Even with all that exploring of natural beauty, the highlight of our trip was spending the afternoon and evening by the fire, while soaking up the views and listening to the relaxing sounds of the waterfall! Thanks for sharing your wonderful little slice of Heaven with us!!

3 nights at Cherokee Waterfall Campground

This is the best campsite we ever stayed at. The sound of the creek and the view of the waterfall is spectacular. We hung around camp the whole time because it was so nice. Instead of using the full hookups which have no view of the waterfall we parked as close to the creek and enjoyed the view. Bring your friends and family, this site is huge with five fire pits and it's private bathhouse. Richard is very helpful and a pleasure to meet. We loved staying here and will be back. 1 night at Cherokee Waterfall Campground

We enjoyed staying at the creekside campsite. It's only a few miles from town but very quiet. The sound of the creek is relaxing. We have a 25 foot trailer and hooked up to the truck we are 40 feet total. It's a little tight but doable to get in. It's a bonus to have your own bathhouse on site. We loved staying here and will be back. Thanks Richard

3 nights at Honeysuckle Springs Smoky Mountains

Pros- This place is peaceful. The view was mesmerizing. We really enjoy the pop up camper. The hosts were super responsive. They provided us with everything we needed to get to the site. The best part is that they have WIFI. Cons- Camp sites were way too close to each other. It was hard for us to turn on our music enough for all us to hear. All of our concentration was focused on trying to not be too loud. Since we didn’t want to disturb our neighboring sites. For those of you, who like the idea of Meet and Greet while enjoying the beautiful nature view, then this place is for you. The bathroom was super clean. It was good opportunity to get few steps in lol. But it was a little far to walk down in the middle of the night.

3 nights at Coweeta Creek Campground

Melissa and Adam have a little slice of heaven at their Coweeta Creek Campground! Our Premium Campsite #1 was right by the creek and with plenty of space between us and site #2. Trees, bushes, and hostas keep the landscape natural feeling. And our dog loved playing in the water! Neighbors are a good distance away, which helps you feel like you're away from it all. The site had great access to wi-fi, power, and water as stated in the description. We only wish we could have stayed there longer.

Weekend Trip to Appalachian Pond Campground

Although I only stayed one evening, I absolutely loved my spot at site #3 (actually #4). Motorcycle camping, coming from Florida this was just beautiful site on a hillside with a small creek below and hsd a sunset view of the mountains. John was able to go out and pick up some firewood for me, which was amazing. Extremely friendly and wholesome people, I would be happy to visit again. The gravel road up to the tent sites is a bit steep, but I had no issue traversing it on my street bike with saddle bags in the dry environment. Thank you again, guys!

Great spot with water and electrical hookups close to town. Very accommodating host. Yes you're basically in a suburban neighborhood, but he's put up some privacy screens. I'd pick these neighbors over the majority of sketch balls I've been parked near at rv parks and campsites when I've needed a plug. Perfect spot for vans that need to charge up.

Everything went well. They had an amazing pavilion, with a beautiful view. Never really got bothered by any of the workers.

Weekend Trip to Chattooga Belle Farm Lakeside

Camped here with my girlfriend in our pop up camper and can honestly say they were some of the nicest people I’ve ever met, Ben and Joe and the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful! The views were amazing and the lake was a blast! There’s a farm store and a lunch spot overlooking the mountains, as well as a distillery. We stayed at Spot #3 which was relatively private and had an awesome time! Definitely recommend!

Weekend Trip to Smoky Mountain Meadows

We tent camped and it was absolutely beautiful. Breathtaking views all around us. The amenities were always nice and clean, (and heated which was perfect for the morning we woke up with a frosted tent). The camp had such a lovely community vibe, everyone was done for a little chit chat as you did the dishes. The campground hosts were so thoughtful as well stopping by for a chat and making sure we had everything we needed. If it wasn’t halfway around the world we would be back in a heartbeat!

This place is awesome, tons of space to camp without being crowded. If you go, you should totally check out the distillery; Eric and Ben are great guys, they'll make you feel right at home. 10/10 would recommend!

By Tracy McCoy I wonder if when standing on the sprawling in upstate South Carolina, just a short hour trip from Greenville, Ed and Kitty Land heard a small still voice say, “if you build it, they will come.” While there isn't a baseball field on the property, that's about all that is lacking. Chattooga Belle Farm began as an event building set on 138 acres with a small seasonal retail store. Soon people found their way to the soon-to-be full-fledged farm and they felt it; that feeling that you've found a very special place. Peaceful, majestic and unlike any other, Chattooga Belle Farm is quite possibly the perfect place for any event and most certainly an ideal place to pledge your heart and life to another. Since the Lands opened their doors in 2010 they have come. There have been families, couples, groups, the media and fruit pickers who have all visited the farm; and they return year after year. Having been written up countless times across the southeast, US and more recently featured on The Today Show, the farm just keeps growing and getting better. With a history of growing sweet juicy apples, the soil in this part of the world has proven to be excellent for peaches, muscadines, scuppernongs, and blueberries. The farm also grows exotic fruits like persimmons, paw paws, Asian pears, figs, and more! The landscape is picturesque and the mountain views are truly breathtaking in every direction. The recent addition of a distillery on the farm means the fruit is grown, fermented, distilled and bottled on the farm. Bull Mountain Ridge

The site's first appeal is the amazing view of Bull Mountain Ridge. Beautiful all year long, but particularly in late October when the leaves are in their richest colors. The site is roomy for small to mid-sized RVs and offers a private water hook-up, 30 amp, and 20 amp power outlets. It feels private and tucked away, but is very accessible to all of what the Asheville area has to offer. Downtown is a 15 minute drive; ride services and shuttles are both easy to secure and quite affordable. Additional parking is available for a fee. The backdrop of the site is forested and easy to relax in - the understory is maintained for guest use, providing cooling shade with a stunning view. I usually try to say hello to folks and make sure they get settled in alright, but let me know if you'd prefer just to come in and have privacy. Don't feel the need to come to the house unless you can't get a hold of me via text and you need assistance. I may not be available when you arrive, but I'll try to get back in touch with you as soon as I'm able. **Please be aware that this section of North Carolina has a particularly large population of American black bears. Add them as extra guests Pull down a paved road and get out of your car and sit down at a picnic table in front of a private waterfall! This site has a pull through, full hookup spot with 30amp for campers but tents are always welcome or a combination of the two. I've had a 33' camper, popup camper and 6 tents at this campsite all at the same time so there plenty of room for your family and friends! We're 2.5 miles from the Cherokee Casino and 3.5 miles from down town Cherokee If you're tired of crowded campgrounds then you'll love the privacy this campground offers. This is now a two site campground with each site being around 100' away from the other site with trees and vegetation growing in between, you more or less cant see on site from the other from May until November. There is a orange cone that marks the border of the two sites. One set of campers will not be allowed on the other campers campsite, if this happens you will be evicted with no refund. Check in is at 2pm and check out is at 12pm. No shooting firearms, (although you may hear people shooting firearms because you will be camping in the mountains) but your more than welcome to bring your firearms. Its better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. No fireworks. No making trails or collecting firewood (This is not because I want to sell you firewood, its because I want to have the property remain as pristine as possible) Do not cut down trees alive or dead If you move picnic tables please move them back Dogs are permitted but message me first to see if your do will be a good fit. There is a small Church around 200 yards from the campground. They hold services every Wednesday and Sunday. They generally start around 5pm and it lasts around a hour.
