Wiseman Ridge is a boutique micro campground for RVs only, first opened in July of 2022. Our property adjoins the Blue Ridge Parkway in Linville Falls NC with easy access off NC 221. We offer 5 full hook up RV sites with views of Hawksbill, Table Rock and Humpback Mountains. Micro means we have only a handful of sites but that is where micro ends. Each site is expansive, with large areas to spread out and enjoy the views or play yard games. Unlike typical RV parks our sites are spread out on the ridge top and offer great views and lots of space.
Our campground offers a unique camping experience for the RV and outdoors enthusiast. All of our RV sites feature views of the surrounding peaks and have full hook ups with, water, septic and 30 or 50 amp power access, high speed wi-fi access at each site as well as a picnic table and in ground fire pits.
Wiseman Ridge provides the peace and quiet of nature at its finest, with easy direct access to the Blue Ridge Parkway by foot or by road. We are just a mile down the parkway from the entrance to the Linville Falls parking lot and picnic area, and 2 miles from Kistler Memorial Highway (Old NC 105) that provides access to the western rim of Linville Gorge and multiple trailheads.
Our campground is for conventional travel trailers and motorhomes only. We do not have bathroom or bathhouse facilities so we cannot allow campers that do not have a self contained bathroom that can hook up to a conventional RV sewer drain and no human waste is allowed in our trash receptacles.

This property is 180 acres of woods and mountains with streams and ponds.
Beautiful settings. If you like hiking in the mountains this will definitely hit the spot. You can fish in the ponds it has blue gills and catfish. I also added grass carp there as part of weed management.
This used to be an abandoned farm which I want to bring back to life.
The site offers three luxury large Safari Style Tents that are all separate and private.
This is not a KOA style of camping where everyone is on top of each other.
All tents are far away from each other to provide privacy and freedom of going Wild (still remaining civilized in your manners and careful attitude to Nature around you).
Tent 1 is in the Forrest itself and it is pretty cool and serene.
Tent 2 is on the top of a rocky hill overlooking the forest.
Tent 3 is the most remote and closest to the ponds. It has most of the open space around it, and can be a great place for parties.
We are working on making the sites and the area more comfortable, but I do not want to make it a manicured park. I want it to remain wild and still offer comfortable stay.
The farm is work in progress.
The closest town - Lenoir is about 12 miles away . Closest Grocery store (Dollar General) - about 3 miles away. Closest Gas station - 2 miles away.
Professional Tennis court, Basketball court and large kids playground are in a public park within - 5 minute drive.
Lenoir has restaurants, shopping, etc.
Hickory is a larger town about 25 minutes drive. Hickory Lake is a large reservoir with marina where you can rent a boat and it also offers a good game fishing.

You must also detach any trailer or towed items a mile or so before the camp spot and before the switchbacks. Please view the map and be comfortable with travel to our campsite. There are sections of the road with no shoulder and pit holes due to current construction/road work.

This is my 3rd time staying at Corner Pine. It has such a cozy & quiet vibe, especially in the Fall. I love that I can pull my camper right up to the covered deck. It gives me a place to relax and cook meals outside. The host always has a little goodie basket waiting with firewood & treats for my pup. Always excited to come back to this spot!!

This is our go to spot for local camping. The facility is well kept and serene. The creek is spring fed, so the water is quite cold but it is perfect on a hot day to float along or just put a chair in the shallows and read. It is easy to get to…easy to set up and the folks there are very kind. I truly can’t say enough!
We rented the whole camp for a family birthday weekend and it will be a lifelong memory for sure.

We spent the weekend in our Sprinter van and it was a perfect home base for all our hiking adventures. There is so much to do in the area. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.

Great location with beautiful campsites right along the river! The fire pit placement was a little unusual, with some positioned a bit too close to neighboring sites. That said, the owners were very receptive to feedback and seem genuinely committed to continually improving the campground. Looking forward to seeing how the place evolves!

From the moment we arrived it was absolutely wonderful. Our host met us the gate. The directions to get there were phenomenal, She had a fresh cut flower bouquet on our picnic table. Everything was as pictured and as stated. It’s always nice to not to have any bad surprises when you’re camping. Everything worked really well the electricity, the water the sewer. It was all 100% up to par. The grounds were gorgeous. I highly recommend you checking this Hip Camp out if you’re in the area.

The hosts were both very welcoming. If I needed anything to contact them. Both sites; upper and lower were very well maintained. The sites are spaced far enough apart from each-other. Lots of room to walk your dogs. If you need a cell signal walk up the hill to the right of the upper site. But who wants to look at the phone with such a gorgeous campsite 😀

Outstanding double campsites with amazing privacy on top of a mountain. Can accommodate any size rigs, although the road in has some tight hairpin turns. Landscaping/site pads/utilities were all immaculate and showed much care and attention. Beautiful hiking trails, benches, water features, and a gazebo. Starlink worked perfectly. Owners were nice and accommodating - a strong storm blew through right after setting up and they made sure we were ok and didnt need anything.
One of the best campsites in NC/VA we've ever been to. Note - while seclusion is part of the allure here, its a solid 30 minute drive to get to most anything else. Stock up before you arrive and relax!

One of our favorites. Level sites. Beautiful views. Property has cool clear creeks running into a swimming hole. Lots of green lawn to relax on. Very quick to respond. Close to a couple wineries. VERY low cell service on Verizon. Mostly sos. Perfect get away!

Great RV spots by the creek! There was even a fire pit with the wood already collected! There was one other van and we both had our dogs off leash, walking into the creek, it was super lovely!!! Great spot away from the main roads, super special sunrise!
