Redeemers Ridge Retreat is our 47 acre property in the Blue Ridge Mountains set apart for the intent of encouraging traditionally married couples and single non couples age 25 and older to rest, renew, and reconnect with God and each other in the beauty of nature. TO ENSURE WE CAN PROVIDE ALL OUR GUESTS THE BEST EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE, we require all those interested in booking to first read our guest guidelines (rules). For the peace of mind of our community members and guests we do require Driver License ID for each guest after booking. Returning to nature isn't just enjoyable; it's also beneficial. Yet, there are times when immersing oneself in nature serves as a means to disconnect from the ordinary and reconnect with God and others, proving to be the pinnacle of rejuvenation! At Redeemers Ridge Retreat, we foster an atmosphere conducive to reconnection, rest, and renewal in the beauty and awe of nature. Low Road is the lower of our two semi private sites for your RV here at Redeemer’s Ridge with fabulous panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Big View is a tiny home with big views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from every window. Having retired from faith based Christian professions, John and Linda have developed Redeemers Ridge Retreat as a faith based Bible respecting entity to provide opportunities for people to relax, renew, and reconnect with God and others. So you know, all people are welcome and at the same time here are the hosts beliefs for you to make an informed decision: God creates each person as male or female, as two distinct, complementary genders who together reflect the image and nature of God. (Genesis 1:27) Marriage is originally and continues to be defined by God in Scripture as the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive, covenant commitment. Furthermore, it is God alone who has the ultimate authority to prescribe and describe the marital relationship. (Matthew 19:8, 1 Corinthians 6:18, Hebrews 13:4) God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman in the sacred context of marriage. (1 Corinthians 7:2) In order to fully informed about RRR and what to expect, we ask all those interested in booking to first read our guest guidelines FOUND ON THE SITE UNDER “During Your Stay” and then “Rules”. Contact us if you have any questions. For the peace of mind of our community members and guests we do require Driver License ID for each guest after booking. Big View Sleeps 1 or 2 adults in the loft queen bed, full kitchen, heat and AC, walk-in jacuzzi tub, covered porch with BBQ, and smokeless fire pit with grandiose views. Onsite experiences include walking trails with spectacular sunrise vistas, old cabin ruins, creek, old barn, and country roads. A private smokeless camp fire ring with views, cooking-grilling equipment, and capturing a container of cold mountain spring water at the spout to drink are all options. We really enjoyed our stay here. The views are amazing, and the site is immaculate, nothing out of place. Linda and John were very accommodating and responsive. I pray the Lord continues to bless them in their ministry of sharing their beautiful property with others 🙏!

Absolutely beautiful rolling hills and long range mountain views. Sunrises and sunsets were picture perfect. The hosts were very nice and the site was well maintained. We enjoyed Grayson Highlands nearby and the morning walk around the property to the ruins and pine forest. What a gem close to downtown Sparta and other awesome attractions. Had a nice dinner after a long hike at Red Dog restaurant about 8 minutes away from camp site.

Sparta, NC's best kept secret for RV'rs. You can stop in downtown for coffee/chocolate chip muffins or gourmet pizza slices then head on out from downtown Sparta for ten minutes to arrive hilltop to a premier location with full hookups, beautiful views, fire pits, and picnic tables. Check out some of the photos I've provided. It is unbelievably quiet and serene while you can watch the clouds breeze by. This is a minimum two night stay location but trust me, you need that much time to fully appreciate and recharge to face day to day life back home. Make your stay as soon as possible, you won't regret it.

Beautiful view, sites were set up with plenty of space to turn around, so many extra details that added to home feel, so peaceful and quiet ! Host were helpful and extremely nice. Lots of things to do near by especially for nature lovers.

Decided too late that we wanted to book a camping trip for Labor Day weekend. This was our first ever experience using Hipcamp so we were completely unsure of what to expect. Choosing Redeemers Ridge Retreat definitely met and exceed any expectations or reservations we may have had. Stayed on the Low Road site and it was amazing. Beautiful, peaceful and just what we needed to relax and unwind. While we did not do any of the hikes, they are there and we will make sure to do those next time. Such a breath of fresh air, to have this gorgeous view all to ourselves or what felt like it. If you are looking for calm, serenity, peace, quiet, breathtaking views and just a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life, this is it!! Thank you Linda and John, we will be back!!

We went here for a much needed break and to escape the intense summer heat and didn't disappoint! The place itself is so beautiful and so serene that we wanted to comeback soon. If you want to disconnect and looking for a place to relax. Look no further! This is it.

We absolutely loved our stay at Redeemer’s Ridge Resort. It is definitely a place to escape the outside world and just find peace and solitude. The views are spectacular and John & Linda are so sweet and very responsive to our needs and questions. We have already planned another stay in the fall. Without a doubt, the best site we have ever had camping!

If you are looking for a place of peace, tranquility, and atmosphere to reset, we highly recommend it! This is our 2nd trip to Redeemer's Ridge but is not our last. The spiritual renewal is worth the investment and journey! Nature also brings amazing experiences and "Aww" moments! Thank you Linda for your hospitality and connection during our stay! Stargazer Dome was by far the most epic glamping experience I have ever had. Absolutely peaceful and quiet back in here. With gorgeous views, from moonlight shining through the dome ceiling at night, a most spectacular sunset! Whether it was cooking over the smokeless firepit or simply cooking on the hot plate all of it was such a refreshing experience. I will definitely be recommending this place to everyone I know👌

Many features attracted us to this sight, from the peaceful, Christian values, to the landscape, to the sweet presence of God and His creation. We were looking for a place to try out an RV for the first time. Redeemer's Ridge accommodated us with hospitality, greetings, clear instructions and all needs met! We look forward to our return!

A truly phenomenal and unique stay! Incredible views, magical stargazing, and fireflies lighting up the night. Everything about the Star Gazer glamp spot was thoughtfully arranged and beautifully decorated. The hosts were so kind and helpful. I definitely would recommend this to anyone seeking a peaceful nature repose.

Probably one of the most beautiful spots we have camped at. Feels like the middle of nowhere, but is a short drive to Sparta, or independence. Halfway between Stone Mountain and Grayson highlands. Daughton park is 20 minutes away ( however the parkway was closed during our stay )

Generally, our visits always create a review that showcases the location itself however, from time to time we have hosts that just go above and beyond. In this special Easter weekend visit at Redeemer's Ridge, we had the great privilege of meeting Linda and John. With amazing communication and great directions, I knew we were off to a wonderful start and meeting Linda at the RV site she greeted us with a warm and gracious personality. Also an Easter treat bag was given to us as well as important information about the site, the walking/hiking trails and the features of the site. Later on one of our hikes we spotted her from her backyard nearby and she gave us a radiant smile and a hardy wave... talk about being made to feel welcome! wow. By evening we had the pleasure of meeting her husband John, who was making the rounds to drop off firewood for us to enjoy once the evening was upon us. Meeting these two very special people made our visit so pleasant and we were able to enjoy a special Easter Sunday sunrise due to the them providing such a wonderful place to stay. On to the RV site itself. It is a work of art, truly. From the special 'Welcome' sign on the rock/boulder at the fork in the road between the two sites to the 'Scenic Sunrise' hiking sign that kept inviting us to make one more hike to the bench under the Pear Blossom tree along the road; the attention to detail is evident everywhere. You'll find a beautiful valley below to view and fully modern RV hookup sites.

Slice of heaven! Quiet and beautiful views. Owners were caring and friendly. The sites were so well thought out. I appreciated all the detail that went into making this property a unique and beautiful place to stay. Just look around and you can see how much time and money was spent. The site itself is level, trash can available, firewood available, clean beautiful rock to park on, beautiful wood chairs on red stone, open property for the dog to run, enchanting pine tree forest and full hookup. Be prepared for a decent amount of wind because you are on a mountain.

Linda, our host, went out of her way to make certain our campsite was immaculate, well furnished with easy hookups, beautiful seating area with modern smokeless fire pit, huge hand-crafted chairs and custom-built picnic table and benches. Best of all the view was spectacular with both rolling meadows and mountains. We had fresh mountain spring water, both piped into our campsite and available at the source. Our time was spent relaxing in the beauty of God’s creation at Redeemer’s Ridge Retreat and hiking to favorite locations on the property. Linda and John are truly wonderful people that we enjoyed getting to know. I’m sure our future camping plans will include return visits to Redeemer’s Ridge Retreat!

We loved our weekend! This is definitely one of our favorite places and Linda and John are wonderful hosts. The site is surrounded by beautiful mountains and is so peaceful. Our dogs loved the trails on-site and the beautiful views. This place truly is a little slice of Heaven on Earth!

We loved staying here. The views were great. The other site is far enough away so that we didn’t feel crowded at all. Our hosts, Linda and John were very informative and kept us informed of things going on. We liked this place so good we already tried to book our next stay but both sites are taken for the dates we need. These are pull in sites but you have to back out. We had enough room to back out with our 40 foot fifth wheel without getting off the gravel. We had the lower site this time and are looking forward to being in the upper site next time.

The Wow factor comes to mind. Great campsite and great views. If you like, looking at beautiful skies at night with stars and mountains in the daytime, this is the site. Very quiet area and Camp was set up with picnic tables and chairs and Smokeless campfire pit. Full hooks worked great. Such a wonderful experience. We already rescheduled another stay.

Amazing site/view. Surrounding area is in the foothills and is beautiful, with all the valleys and farmland and then there's the mountains. The Blue Ridge Parkway is very close. Campers don't typically think of Sparta, NC as a destination but it's right at the base of the mountains and just an hour from Boone, NC. John and Linda are wonderful hosts!! My only hesitation in writing this review is that both myself and my buddy have already booked the two sites there again in October and we plan to come back often, but once folks discover this campground we are sure it will get reserved out and we'll have limited opportunity going forward.

Beautiful Mountain Retreat

Redeemer’s Ridge is one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. Linda and John were such wonderful hosts and greeted us when we arrived. The property is gorgeous from the immaculately clean and landscaped campsites to the mowed trails all over the property, it was an everything we could have hoped for when we planned a weekend away with our dogs. Linda provided us with local restaurants, shopping and recreation ideas. We watched the sunrise over the mountains every day and just up the hill, you could see the sunsets. We will definitely go back because after one weekend there, this is one of our favorite places.
